Old gas valve that they replaced
    Gilbert R.

These guys are amazing. Prompt, courteous, professional, experienced, and competitively priced...you can't ask for more. Gas company discovered that I had a gas leak, so they had to close the lines down and suggested I call a plumber to investigate. Got an immediate response and they came the very next morning. They found multiple valve leaks, so they corrected them all in less than a day. Gas company came out after and everything checked out. I would not hesitate one bit to call ADH back for any of my plumbing fixes. You should, too!

Andy cleaning after fixing the leak.

I had a challenging leak inside the wall of my bathroom that damaged the ceiling of the first floor. ANDY was very professional, clean and completed the project in a timely manner with a reasonable price. I recommend ADH plumbing service for all plumbing needs. Thx.

According to Andy and ADH plumbing, this is a new valve.

SoCal gas came out to check for gas leaks after we noticed a faint smell on our property. On their 2nd trip, they finally found the leak coming from the connection going into the dryer. I called Andy to ask him if he'd be able to fix the leak. He let me know that he was busy but he's be able to send someone to fix and replace the connection. I've called Andy on several occasions to fix a couple of small leaks and to clean out 6 tankless water heaters. Didn't have an issue with the leaks and he was able to fix them quickly and at a "reasonable" price. But with cleaning out the water heaters he wanted to charge a few hundred dollars for each tankless. When I spoke to him about the price, his argument was that it was partly due to the cost of the 5 gallons of vinegar per unit he would need to clean it out. Ok so at 3.50, 5 would equal 17.50 per unit, but would take an hour to run it to the tankless heaters. Fine, we worked out a price, still high and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now back to the gas leak. After having gone through the last project, this time, I decided to take a closer look at his invoice and charges. I was in total shock. Almost 200 dollars for a connector with a valve, 3 joints, a single 3" and a 6" pipe. And that's just for supplies. I immediately called him to talk to him about the price, thinking it may have just been a mistake, but no, he claims that he gets his supplies from Ferguson and that the cost of brass valves is expensive. He claimed that each valve was 30 and that he used 2 valves. I told him that it still doesn't add up. He then said that he'd send me an invoice as a gesture of goodwill. A few days later I head over to the dryer to take a look at the repair. The first thing I notice is that the replaced valve was used and not even new. Looks like it was dug up from someone else's yard and brought over and installed. (Take a look at the photos, with dirt all over). Furthermore, there is no 2nd valve. I jot down the Brasscraft model number and check online. HD has it for 25.35 NEW. I call Andy and sent him messages to which he has not responded to. At this point I can't help but feel lied to and ripped off. Not only was the price marked up 650% but it wasn't even new. I will contact the state board and request a refund for the valve. Please be careful when dealing with ADH plumbing, they are crooks, liars and thieves dressed as plumbers. During my complaint to the State License Board, I found that this company used to operate under the name FLOW TECH PLUMBING, which is now suspended by the FTB and the Secretary of State. Customers beware.

They did come out for a consultation and despite several attempts, they never responded or followed through with a written estimate

That plumber told us the issue was likely due to our drains not being properly vented and that fixing it could involve breaking into walls and cost somewhere in the $4,000-$10,000 range. I sent Doug a message on Yelp, and he responded quickly with what turned out to be the correct diagnosis: biofilm buildup in the sink's overflow area. Even more impressive, he told me it was something I could probably fix myself. He offered to talk with me by phone and patiently explained what was going on, which I really appreciated because I honestly didn't even understand how that part of the sink worked. In the end, I was able to fix the problem myself with a flexible brush and a little bleach- less than $10 total. Doug could easily have come out and charged me, but instead he gave me honest, expert advice and helped me avoid a huge unnecessary expense. That kind of integrity is rare, and I'll absolutely be calling him first for any plumbing issues in the future.

It turns out that all these 5 star reviews were right!…read more Our Bradford White water heater was leaking despite being less than 2 years old. Doug was able to come and take a look the day we reached out to him. He explained what was wrong (the tank had failed) and how he could tell. He reassured us that it was not an emergency, but it had to be replaced. The next day he took care of the warranty replacement through the wholesaler, and installed the new heater for a very competitive price. Doug is courteous, professional, and just a very smart and pleasant person. He is definitely our plumber from now on!
