Since I was dealing with insurance I had to get two quotes and picked a highly rated company on Next Door. Both companies were professional and quick on the quote but the prices were over $1,000 different for a smaller unit 40 versus 50 gallon, but same maker etc. Based on response time, follow through and people skills, and price I highly recommend Pasadena Plumbing. Only issue is both companies gave a one line quote. Insurance requires a broken out quote which they complied with quickly.

He also gave good advice when it came to installing a new shower valve. Since there was no way to access where the valve was without cutting the tile, the waterproofing would have been compromised. So according to him, it would be best to either redo the shower or we would have to use a bigger plate than the one that came with our shower valve to cover the big hole in the front in order to make space to work on the valve. Even though in the end we didn't touch the shower, it was mainly because of Ruslan's detailed explanation of what the work would entail.

He explained to use what the problem was and the problem was not repairable. We decided to replace it. In a short while, Arman came back with the new water heater. He and his coworker Hosa did a great job to place sheets on the hallway and made sure the draining of the water from the old water heater would not cause any problem on our wood floor. They replaced the water heater and cleaned up the area, very efficient and neat. The whole team from back office to the technicians coming out to do the job are very friendly and helpful.
