As a small business owner, there are few things more panic-inducing than a backed-up toilet in the middle of the day. After I unsuccessfully attempted to fix it myself, and called family for backup to no avail, I finally called JB Plumbing at around 8am. Shaun and Nick gave me a same-day arrival window of 1-3pm and showed up at 1:03 on the dot. From start to finish, they were fantastic. Professional, kind, honest, quick, and not pushy whatsoever. They explained everything clearly, tested their work thoroughly before leaving, and documented the additional pipe issue they found so I could pass the information along to my landlord. What could have turned into a super stressful day felt very manageable with them there. We had a very bad leak somewhere under the slab. Johnny and his crew were immediately on the job. This is an old house with some really jury-rigged plumbing. PVC was spliced into and bypassing around earlier problems. Now, we have had this wonderful company out twice before to fix a tricky sewer line. They managed to fix it without cutting into the slab. This time , a whole repipe inside and out was required. My yard is huge and the meter is at the very back. They dug, replaced all the pipes, built 4 hose bibs, and filled in said trenches without damaging landscaping. They bypassed the slab and installed through the attic with minimal holes. Johnny was a Godsend. He was so helpful and kind throughout the process. They worked quickly and got it done in a few days. Johnny also dealt with the city inspector. When the inspector had a problem with our electrical box not being properly grounded, he just did the work for us. He even took care that our birds were okay. We needed a new burner assembly installed in our water heater. Johnny worked with us to do the install as soon as the part arrived from our water heater company. Johnny also came out first, right away, to make sure what our water heater needed. He noticed - and showed me- that a pipe was leaking. The thermostat was also broken. They gave me an estimate on the spot to install the new burner, the thermostat, the leaky pipe, and to do a flush and drain. We had a pinhole leak in our copper pipes. Tried calling another company but they wanted $125 just to show up in a week. I called JB plumbing and they could come the same day without a show-up fee. (They actually fixed our leak that same day.) Johnny and his team showed up with masks and booties, fixed our problem and they were very respectful/ professional. Issue with dishwasher leaking company came out and found melted plastic spoon in dishwasher. Could not find any problems with dishwasher. Well needless to say the problem went a little deeper than the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was causing problems which was discovered by another company that was called out.
