Service technician Cody showed up at about 1 o'clock. He, checked the drain and the pipes and made recommendations. Since it was a bathroom sink, he felt he could get the clog out, but was concerned because some of the pipes are older. Cody let me know everything that could possibly happen and that he would try everything he could to clear the drain. Did not want time try to oversell or charge me extra. He was able to clear the drain at no extra charge. Also, he offered to go under the house just to check all the plumbing and be sure that there were no leaks. This was done at no expense. Our septic tank was not right until they came and were able to fix it. The septic tank had to be cleaned out and videoed. What was their discovery? Our septic tank had only one 24"cover . This cover was not heavy duty either. The 4" clean outs were only 3"clean outs. Nothing was right. Also discovered was that our sewage pit had collapsed! We had to drill, hand dig and put in a new sewage pit and connect it up to our septic tank. Now our septic system is complete and certified. This represents a ton of hard work to be accomplished during very hot weather. It took almost 7 days to complete our job. This was hard and very tedious work. But Felix and his crew are always up for the task. They do work very hard. I can tell you that Craftsman Sewers are honest, they communicate to you well and they do not leave you in the dark. You will know about your septic system with them. They do keep things as clean as they can. This is not easy to do. They even hand watered areas to keep the dust down for us. It was a true pleasure to have Felix and the Craftsman Sewers crew at our home. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Does this cost money? Yes it does. But are they worth it? He rightly determined that I had a leak in the system. I requested to have the R22 and sealant put in for now. He quoted me a price of $3500. I was flabbergasted! I checked the price of R22 and a 30 gallon container was $725 to $945. I asked the service tech why are you charging this outrageous price. His answer was, "that's what our book tells me to charge you ". I asked him if he could justify the exorbitant price and he couldn't. I, obviously, did not use their services and called another licensed A/C company to do the simple task of recharging my A/C unit for less than 1/3 the price of Northstar. Please do a little research before using any A/C company and it could save you thousands.
