We asked Jeremy to fix a shower leak in an older apartment unit in Glendora. We had used P.B. before, and didn't hesitate to call them again. Jeremy responded very quickly . It required a cartridge for a fixture from the early 1970s..He attempted to minimize cost by searching for a replacement model; unfortunately it was not available. The job subsequently involved removing dry wall; repair was done well and quickly! Definitely a fair price for the effort involved and end result! He was very responsive when I asked that he come by my home to assess some poor attempt at plumbing work the previous home owner did. It was an absolute mess. So, again it was Jeremy to the rescue with my water heater! Thought it was dead and he was out within the hour to figure out that the pilot had been blown out most likely due to a bubble in the gas line. However, the tank hadn't be serviced since it was installed 5 years earlier by him and needed maintenance badly. So, he leaves without any charge to return two days later to flush and clean up the two tanks! I am now back on track, learning my lesson about annual maintenance, which I will then be calling Jeremy back to keep these tanks operating smoothly! I've been dabbling with the idea of getting a tankless water heater for a while now. After our water heater gave out, I knew it was time. I called several plumbing companies in the area and always got the same answers. - - - Other guys: "There is a charge of $100 to come out and give you a quote." Me: Ughhh, does that come with a steak dinner? No thanks. - - - Other other guys: "Our next availability is next month." Me: Sure thing. Let me just freeze my a55 off until then. No thanks. - - - Other other other guys: "We don't do tankless water heaters." The work area was clean. Process took about 2.5hrs to install. I've dealt with many plumbers in the past, but this by far has been the smoothest, easiest, and best experience. I called Pluming Buddies to have a water line installed for my new refrigerator ice maker/ water. I needed a 10 ft line . The refrigerator was a delivered with a six ft line. The installer informed me to have a plumber install a 10ft line. The person who answered phone told me that was not to California code and they don't sell 10ft waterlines.He said they could put 2 8ft lines together instead. I informed him I have already ordered a 10 ft water line from Amazon. He said well it's an off brand. I also look on ge website and they sell a 12ft water line and so does Homedepot, ace hardware. I don't know what he was trying to sell me on. I thanked him and hung up. This place was not helpful and didn't seem like they wanted to help. First of all, they answered the phone while on another job, when no other company I called had. We hired Plumbing Buddies for a re-pipe of our house, upgrade water main, and upgrade to a tankless water heater. Jeremy and his team (also Jeremy), were available immediately to start work. I was impressed by Jeremy's knowledge of various methods to get the job done correctly. He walked us through the various options in way that helped us make the best decision. We went with upounor (similar to PEX) as well as some copper. Jeremy provided a very reasonable quote, clear schedule, and was just in general a very friendly person. As for the work, Jeremy started immediately. He secured the necessary permits quickly. Jeremy and Jeremy always arrived on time and work extremely hard to remove our galvanized steel pipes and install the upounor. As a home with a young kid, Jeremy was extremely conscientious of making sure areas were clean. At no point did I worry about this project. Jeremy from start to finish was very professional, kind, and diligent. The total time for work took about a week plus a few days (our house has a lot of issues). After completing the re-pipe and water heater, Jeremy had a great subcontractor come out to patch and repair our walls. Overall this was a great experience and well worth the money. We had flooding inside the house due to our sewer line. We had other plumbing companies that came in trying to upsell us and rip us off. I had Jeremy come in and he showed us the actual problem with the camera underground live and he provided us with a copy too via USB drive.
