They came out on a weekend. Was on time. They gave me a reasonable quote and went to work. They fixed the problem real quick and easy. It was a leaking pipe under the sink. Looks like one of the nuts was loose/maybe a small crack.... They also gave the reasons as to why and what they're doing. Pretty good. Quick and easy. Didn't do a repipe.... It was basically plumber's putty and also tape.... that did the trick. I paid 229.00 usd. Weekend fee was waived. You could pay via zelle. Staff came on time as discussed. Made an appt the day prior. Quick and responsive and reliable. read more

Dependable Rooter & Plumbing - Company van - Plumbing Near Me - Claremont, California

"If they can't do the simple things with honesty and integrity (like patching holes), imagine the shortcuts they may be taking with your plumbing." We hired this company in 2022 for plumbing work on our 1950's home. They left my house in a mess, removing items and clothing from closets and cabinets without cleaning up after themselves, and leaving large, unpatched holes all around my home. I posted a one-star review then and was in communication with the owner, Tony. He offered to send one of his employees out to patch the holes and offered a monetary refund if I removed the review. I agreed. The employee did a HORRIBLE job patching the holes, but I was so tired of the process that I just let it go. I just wanted to enjoy my new home. Cut to four years later. In preparation to move, I decided to fix the awful patch job that Dependable Rooter & Plumbing had done. Lo and behold, I found TOILET PAPER stuffed in the walls of my home in all of the patched holes! The holes were filled with toilet paper and patched over with globs of compound. I could not believe my eyes. How can a professional company behave this way? I just don't understand. Tony, I know you read these reviews and you ought to be ashamed! Do NOT work with this company. If they can't do the simple things with honesty and integrity (like patching holes), imagine the shortcuts they may be taking with your plumbing. read more

I set up an appointment with Tony on a Friday afternoon for a leak in the upstairs bathroom which was leaking through the ceiling downstairs He was extremely thorough, inspecting every potential trouble spot to make sure he didn't miss a thing. In an industry where it's easy to get sold unnecessary repairs, Tony's honesty was a breath of fresh air. He let us know that everything looked completely fine and that no work was needed at this time, saving us money and unnecessary stress. It's rare to find someone with that level of integrity. Over the years, I have worked with several contractors on different projects around my home, including window work, exterior painting, and landscape irrigation. Through those experiences, I have developed an appreciation for tradespeople who take the time to explain how they evaluate a situation rather than simply recommending additional work. When I first sent out a request for a leak inspection, Dependable Rooter & Plumbing was the first company to respond. Within a few hours, they sent a technician, Tony, to take a look. My first impression was that he was respectful and courteous. During the inspection, he took the time to explain what he was looking for and how he was assessing the situation. That level of transparency helped build trust right away. Rather than simply reporting a problem, he walked us through the process and the reasoning behind his observations, which reflected a level of knowledge and honesty that speaks well to the company's standards of service. At one point, I intentionally proposed an unrealistic idea to see whether unnecessary work would be recommended. Instead, he advised against it and explained why it was not needed. That moment stood out to me and reinforced the impression that Dependable Rooter & Plumbing prioritizes what is necessary and reasonable rather than attempting to upsell services. He also explained that some plumbing situations require coordination with other specialists when the scope of work extends beyond plumbing alone. I appreciated that level of honesty and professionalism. Instead of forcing a solution that did not fit the problem, he helped guide us toward the appropriate next steps. That approach reflects a company that understands the importance of addressing problems correctly rather than simply expanding the scope of work. For that reason, the interaction left me confident that Dependable Rooter & Plumbing approaches their work with professionalism, transparency, and integrity. Overall, my experience with Dependable Rooter & Plumbing was very positive. It is always reassuring to work with a company that takes the time to explain the problem and focuses on the right solution rather than the most expensive one. The responsiveness, transparency, and professionalism during the inspection made a strong impression, and the company truly lives up to its name. read more

It's hard to find reliable and honest service these days, and this company definitely delivered. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. read more
