Kudos and gratitude to Daniel today for replacing our wall mounted kitchen faucet--it had been leaky and no longer swiveling for at least the past two years, held together with Gorilla tape and rustoleum paint. We had been reluctant to replace it because of concern that it would require damage to the surrounding historic tile, let alone the galvanized pipe. Daniel arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and started work right away (he had talked us through what needed to happen during his visit last week when we got our dishwasher installed.). Over the next 1.5 hrs he successfully removed the old faucet, cleaned out the part of the old pipe that broke during the removal process due to rust/age, and installed the new one. Looks beautiful! Swivels like a dream! No leaks! In effect, our kitchen has a new facelift with the new faucet and dishwasher, thanks to Daniel, without the price tag of redoing our whole kitchen. The technician, Steven, arrived within 20 minutes, which was incredible considering the time of night. Didn't even put a camera down the laundry drain and hyrdrojet a drain that wasn't the laundry drain, told me couldn't get the camera past a certain point) Santiago went out of his way got the camera all the way to the front yard and even went on the roof to put the camera down the laundry drain, didn't charge me knowing I got screwed. After my natural gas detector went off this morning, the gas company came out and told me it was most likely a sewage gas leak in my laundry room. There was a strong eggy smell, and I was concerned. I called 24 Rooter Plumbing, and Daniel responded quickly. He was incredibly professional, kind, and thorough. After moving my washer and dryer, he carefully checked the gas connections and reassured me that there was no gas leak, he didn't smell anything coming from the wall. Instead, he traced the foul smell to inside my washing machine. I had noticed the smell before and had tried cleaning it with pods, but I didn't realize it could be causing the alarm. Daniel even went above and beyond by giving me a free estimate for a smoke bomb test with cam inspection. Also, he kindly washed out the water hose connected to the washer. That level of service and honesty is hard to come by.
