Cruz Plumbing is fantastic! We had a leak in the garage, and another plumber told us it would cost over $500 to replace a part. Cruz Plumbing came out, looked it over, and said, "Before we do anything, let me try tightening it." That was all it needed! He double-checked to make sure there were no drips and only charged $69. On top of that, he kindly explained that our water heater will eventually need servicing and a filter--but I truly felt like he was being honest, not trying to upsell me. The owner, Christian, came out to give us an estimate on a problem with the shower not shutting off. He explained that since we live in an old house, the parts would take a day or so to find. Other plumbers have told us, "No one makes the old parts anymore, we'll need to replace the whole valve system as opposed to just rebuilding." Christian knew his stuff & said if we replace everything it will cost more but rebuilding will save you money. It will take a day or so to get the parts. The parts are always available, you just have to find the right supplier. Anthony showed up right on time with a helper. He explained everything, & completed the valve repair on the shower. They cleaned up after themselves & left no mess for me to clean. My Hubby asked him to check the 2nd bathroom toilet which had been running. They replaced the float mechanism, angle stop, & the wax seal at the floor which also had been leaking. As they were getting ready to go we heard a loud beeping coming from under the kitchen sink... I'd forgotten we had a small water leak detector under there. Garbage disposal was leaking, and the 55 year old sink was rusting & leaking. Gave us an estimate for repairing problems. I asked for a estimate to replace entire sink, faucet & disposal. Anthony came back a few days later to work in the kitchen.. Christian, the owner, was in the area, so he stopped by & joined Anthony & they replaced kitchen sink, faucet & garbage disposal & re-hooked up the dishwasher & the reverse osmosis water softener tank... I was a little skeptical because in the past other plumbers have not wanted to get under that sink & mess with everything. Cruz plumbing guys were professional, knowledgeable, courteous & clean... Oh my, everything is so shiny & new, & I now have a new faucet that pulls out & it has a button that allows me to spray, too!! I've been living with a kitchen sink, from when the house was built in the 1960's. Through the years there's always been problems with the kitchen sink & faucet. I called to have my drain cleaned. It was recommended by Anthony that it gets hydro jetted. I agreed. I have had Cruz plumbing out a couple times before and I totally trust them. I am always happy to call them. They work hard to fit you in if it's an emergency. This time it wasn't. Anthony recommended cleaning the shower drain since I told him I had had some trouble back in December. Good thing he did it had hair clogged and it would have only been a matter of time until it clogged again. Cruz plumbing just finished up with a job at my property, and if I could give extra stars, I would. I had a major water leak, and needed immediate service. I called Cruz plumbing Friday morning and was soon speaking with Laura, who was very helpful and informative. I soon spoke with Christian, who was able to determine what needed to be done to my property. A previous contractor had decided it was necessary to re-pipe my house, but Christian was able to determine that this was not necessary and his team could repair the issues without tearing up my house. The pipes under my bathroom vanity were leaking. I was stressing about mold buildup. I am new to the area and wanted to establish a new professional plumbing company. I contacted Cruz Plumbing. They came in to evaluate it and said it was the angle stop. I paid $325 for a new angle stop. I was relieved it was done before the mold build up and was confident, they did a good thorough job in evaluating the problem. They are a professional plumbing company. Unfortunately, they did not and made the situation worst. I don't understand. This is a small job, small sink. I had no idea the pipes were still leaking until the water was spilling onto the floor. Now I have nasty mold and have to replace the wood in the vanity. I asked my handy man to take a look at it. Just at a glance he knew the pipes were too short and needed an extension. He fixed it with what he had with him and removed the wood piece in the bottom and all the mess underneath with mold. He apologized for not making himself available. Felt bad I had to pay that kind of money and end up in a worst situation. My handman is great but really busy. I still hope to find a good professional plumbing company. I have been lucky to find good companies in the other trades. Of course there was some water damage and smell but manageable/minor. That's why I called you. Send me the pictures you are talking about. Rather than apologizing for not doing a thorough good job you are attacking my character. I am an individual with integrity and honesty. I trusted your company when I was told it was only the angle stop. The need for a longer pipe should have been identified and brought to my attention. Called to get a price quote for a toilet leak on my upstairs restroom. The operator quoted me $125 to change wax ring. Set an appointment, the day of plumber didn't arrive so I called to check on eta. Plumber called me and said it's $125 to come out and they'll open up the dry wall to access the issue. But they don't patch up the dry wall (im paying them to open up my dry wall?) after they access if it's to reset the toilet and change out wax ring it's another $125. They are not reliable. Although I called multiple times to confirm, they did not show up to scheduled service.

I asked them to repair my tankless heater, which I finally got repaired from someone else; they wanted $1600 for the heater (without checking if it's still under warranty, and turned out it was) and $1000 for the labor. I checked the price on google, it's actually $1100 for a brand new one. I eventually paid $890 for a brand new heater (exactly the same model from manufacturer warranty), a brand new filter, and all the labor & harness included from another plumbing company. Ask more plumbers before you decide to let them rip you off, and that saved me $1700 in my case. read more

One of our toilets was leaking and Cruz Plumbing came out to repair it. While working on the repair, they discovered our 2 septic tanks were full and overflowing along with other leaking problems. They called a local pumper to pump out the tanks, but also discovered the tanks were very rotted and leaking along with old pipes that were also leaking. Anthony and Santiago worked very hard for three days to take care of all the problems. This involved serious digging to get access to the broken and rotted pipes. They replaced the pipes along with parts of the septic tanks including covers plus they repaired the leaking toilet. After the repairs were completed, they had to put all the dirt and rocks back in the deep hole along with replanting the grass and plants they dug up. I can't say enough good words about how hard they worked and how knowledgeable they were. The service was fantastic and they are all friendly and helpful. If you have a plumbing problem you need to call Cruz Plumbing and Rooter Services. They are the best!!! read more

We had a clogged sewer line on a Saturday evening. Mr Rooter came to our house that evening to hydro-jet my sewer line. Six days later, the line was clogged again. They stated that they could only open up a small area and left us with two more bids of $14,000. I was given the name of Christian, who owns Cruz plumbing from a friend. He came out within a few hours and told us his plan. Mr. Cruz took a before video of what my sewer line looked like, and after he hydro-jetted the line, he did another video to show us the difference. What a difference between the two different companies. Cruz Plumbing was very professional, reliable, and honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any plumbing service!
