We've hired option in the past on our commercial building and we're happy with their work and were impressed by how big their crew was. We had them bid a big job, to take out all the old plumbing in our Comercial restrooms and replace it with all brand new plumbing. We got quotes from multiple companies and option 1 was the highest by like 10 grand. They came down a little on the price and we decided to go with them because they are a bigger company and they did good on the last job. This job was supposed to take 1 week, once they finished our General Contractor was coming behind option 1 to remodel the restrooms. Same layout just brand everything. So the job started I noticed some days only one guy there, some days no one was there so I would call to see if they were coming and yes they were coming but flat tires little stuff like that. One week turned into two weeks which pushed back on contractor and his whole team behind on our deadline. The job was supposed to be all new plumbing, so they removed all the old drain and replaced them with the new plastic drains, the waster supply lines we thought and they thought were galvanized pipe so they were to replace it all with copper water supplies. Once they wall were opened up the water supplies were already copper pipes. So I asked the job supervisor how does this work? Are you guys going to replace it so we can get our warranty or take money off the bid to leave it. He said it wouldn't make that big of a difference if they took it off its better for them to replace it that it one only take a few hours. So at the end of the job all they did was cut off about the 1 ft of the water supplies and put new copper pipes on there and the rest is still old. When they demo the walls they just cut off the aluminum studs so they didn't put them back afterwards so they didn't have anywhere to strap their supplies lines to so they're just left dangling there not tied down. I had to pay our contractor to reframe the areas they tore down. Also they put plumbing exactly where the framing needed to go. I didn't want our GC to touch their pluming work and loose our warranty. This is where the problems start. I tried calling option one to fix and address these issues, they don't call us back. I call asking for a supervisor to come check the work they did and they keep directing us to they guy that did the work. The original guy we talked to who bided the job messaged us he no longer works for option 1. When you call asking for a supervisor they say they are in a meeting and will call you back. After hearing that 3 times and never getting called back from the supervisor I guess this how to get their attention on yelp. We paid you guys good money to do the job right. Seems like you guys sub contracted this job out the one who did the job and your pasting the buck to him. We didn't just hire him we hired option one. Send someone out come talk to us and look at this job. Its paid for in full but its not complete. Our GC had to stop work because they can't move forward without you guys fixing this. Also there still a hole outside with a orange cone where you guys broke open the side walk. Need you guys to come back and replace the concrete. read more

Back in October I had a sewage back up I called option one they came to unclog it for me. yes I have a history of plumbers at my house but they've all unclogged my line, so I call them. they run the snake hit the hard spot, they get a camera send it in they show me the problem and the guy in charge says. you need a jetter, that'll get rid of that I repeatedly ask so your sure that'll get rid of my problem he says it should i ask how much he says $830. That's a huge commitment but he told me it'll get rid of my problem I talk it over with my wife. He had me convinced it'll solve our problem and it'll last 2yrs, I talk my wife into it 4 hrs later and 5 guys there plus the owner my line was still backed up. I basically threw $830 down that sewage drain, I trusted their professional expertise when they camered the line that they know if they would solve the problem. Owner sits me down tells my options, replace the whole line to the house or spot repair. whole line was $7600, spot repair was $2000 but, they were going to credit me for my waste of money. so spot repair was going to be $1200. So not wanting to spend that much anymore I decided to do it myself. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is that they told me what to do when I repair it. and the owner told me after I repaired it to give him a call or text and he would camera the line and jet it for free. which I thought was nice so on nov 9th I fixed my sewer (which only costed me $110) I sent a message to the owner and he said he'd scheduled me in, no message. Dec 2nd I send a message saying he never got back to me he says, I forgot about you then ask if I'm home this wk and I said yes and he says let me see if I can fit you in, nothing. Dec 14th, I say I'm still waiting he says call my office and tell them to call me and make an appt for a jetter and camera. so I do tell the receptionist what the owner said and that he and I had a deal, I told her to call him and I scheduled my appt. The day of the appt they call me to tell me they are on there way, I tell them how the owner and I had a deal for this, do you know about it cause I told the receptionist to call the owner. The employee says I know of no deal let me call the office and call you back. He does 45mins later and says we can't get ahold of the owner, I said well when you do give me a call back or reschedule he says alright, never heard from them again, I shouldn't have to call to remind them of pending business read more

I hate leaving bad reviews...but after trying to contact their Manager several times for an explanation. Everytime I called the Manager was not available and didnt return my calls Horrible Experience...Very UnHappy! Was rude to me, and unproffesional! Charged me $99 and did nothing - had to call another plumber afterwards Told me that I need a mainline sewer repair for $2800 - but another plumber service did not agree?? I have used AnyDrain Plumbers for about 8 years, but since OptionOne took over their Service went down the Drain!! Big time!! I called them to clear my slow drains. They said someone would be there by 4pm to 6pm The Plumber never showed up, I started calling back to get an ETA. They said the Plumber is running behind. The Plumber finally called me after 8pm. So I rescheduled for the next day. I was not really mad about that, They are normally very busy since they prices are low. The Plumber was ontime the next day... I told him the slow drains were probably due to Roots in Mainline, I have had Anydrian\OptionOne take care of this 3-4 times in the last 4years. The plumber agreed and used a larger rooter via the Roof Vent, He said it was going to be $99. He attempted to clear the drain, but said we had too many roots and its damaging/twisting up his Mainline Rooter?! I have had them come by 4 times prior and had no issues...so I was very shocked and suspicious He also said his cable was stuck in our Pipes, and the only solution was to run a camera and also needed to dig-up the mainline sewer in the front lawn?? By then I told him please give me an estimate and I will get a second opinion. He kept on saying his line was stuck and there was no other option???! I was calm, but starting to get angry. Eventually he got his Cable out of the Vent, and he charged me $99 and said I need a new main line $2800 or more. With my drains still slow...the next day I called a Reputable plumber off Yelp with very Good Reviews... They were ontime, and they cleared the drain in 15 minutes, No Drama!??! They said there was some roots, but no big deal??! I was surprised. They charged me $175, since it was a roof vent. I asked him if I needed a new main line repair, he said no, he recommended a Clean-out instead $800 so plumber doesn't go on the roof to access and clear the main line. Unless you like a lot of Drama, constantly calling for an ETA, and getting really really angry....Look Elsewhere! read more

I must say I am very pleased with the work done by Casey at Option One. We stopped getting hot water in our home and after checking it out I realized the pilot wouldn't stay lit. I called several plumbers and decided to have Option One come out to our home. Initially the deciding factor was the way my call was handled. The person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Firstly, they were the only company that would come out and give me an estimate for no cost. The other companies would charge just to come out and would only apply half of the visit fee to the work if we decided to go with them. Fast forward 90 minutes and Casey showed up at our home. He confirmed my diagnosis and gave me a couple options. One was to replace the module controlling the pilot and the other was to replace the water heater. Since I had been growing concerned about the water heater because I knew it had a lot of sentiment in it I opted for the new water heater. After learning what the price would be I called a couple general contractors I know who live out of the area should you be wondering why I didn't just have them do the work. Anyway, they both told me that the price was very competitive. Casey had to go to their supplier to pick up the correct water heater and was back within a hour. He completed the work and took pictures which he said they always do. I paid him and he went on his way. About 30 minutes later Casey returned stating that the owner of Option One had reviewed the pictures and wanted more detailed photographs to review. At the end I spoke with the owner, sorry but I don't remember his name, and was told that while the work was done properly he wanted some of the work "upgraded". I thought, Okay here it comes, the upcharge for the upgrade! However, much to my surprise, I was told that there wouldn't be any further charges. Casey didn't have the materials the owner wanted him to use so he came back the following morning with the parts. I'm not a plumber so I couldn't tell you what the difference was in the new parts, but my whole experience with Casey and Option One Pluming was pleasant and positive. Should I ever need additional plumbing work, the only call I will make is to Option One Plumbing. read more

Logan, a field supervisor, came to my house in the evening, on the same day that I called. He ran a camera down the main sewer line to the street and up the line under my house. I had feared the worst and from the video i absolutely could see the worst. Logan said he would have a crew out to my house in the morning at around 6:00 am, despite the fact that they were currently working on a pipe-bursting job that would take them late into the night (they finished at around 1:30 am). Time windows are necessary in plumbing projects because there is yet no accurate way to predict the end-time of the earlier projects. I opted to have a trench-less liner run to the street through the old clay piping and to make a new ABS connection to the side of the house, adjacent to the bathroom, bypassing the original cast iron piping under the house and the clay pipe out the back of the house and around to the side, which made up the deteriorating existing main line. I am happy with the work done. The professionalism (strong work ethic, customer attentiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to follow up on ancillary problems) of Ron and Ruben, the guys who did the work, was exceptional. When you invest this kind of money into a project, you want to have the best workmen available to complete it. I feel that I had them. The pricing was reasonable: around $7,000 (about $100 per foot) for the water jetting and liner and around $5,000 for new trenching and ABS connections from under the footing on the side of the house. To some people, there would have been other, less costly ways to have dealt with the problem. In my case, this was the most intelligent and permanent solution (I will never have to worry about such problems, again, or have to call someone else to take care of what the cheap solution left undone). You don't always get what you pay for, but you NEVER get what you don't pay for! read more
