Had my main water line going to house bust right before mother's day. Unfortunately it was in our yard just a few feet from sidewalk so the city was no help. We had no water until we got it fixed so we were desperate to find someone who could repair. I don't know if most plumbers try to overcharge considering that but we had crazy quotes ranging from 6k to 18k. Luckily I was calling every plumber who reached out in my project section and came across Anthony. He came the same day to give is the most reasonable quote and was respectful of other plumbers coming and going giving quotes as well. We decided to go with him and I couldn't have been happier. He came the very next morning and worked with his team in the sweltering heat to replace the whole line. Contacted solid plumbing July 3, 2025, regarding a leak Anthony came out first thing in the morning on the 4th of July and cut and replaced roughly 9" of 3/4" copper pipe using 2 3/4" copper 90 elbows and Tested for leaks no further damage. When I started looking for a plumber to repipe our whole house I started with Anthony of "Solid plumbing" because of his many excellent reviews on Yelp . I was not disappointed! Anthony's reviews are spot on . He showed up on time on a Monday morning as planned . We walked around the house together and Anthony answered all of my questions patiently and in depth! He explained to me exactly what he would need to do and how he would do it . He gave me a demonstration of how Pex A is connected along with all of the benefits . He explained that he would not be connecting to any of the old copper fittings for the fixtures which included 3 full bathrooms , a laundry room , and the kitchen and dishwasher as well as the outdoor faucets . He installed all brand new copper fittings so that from the main to each unit would be like it would be if I had just bought a new house . My house was built in 1988 and since we moved in in Jan of 2000 we have had several leaks under the slab and in the walls which caused expensive damage that I had to claim on my insurance . Everytime the earth shakes here in Riverside Ca , I would stress out about another possible leak from the old copper pipes. After Anthony's explanation and demonstration , I realized that I had found the right plumber for the job . The last thing we needed to discuss was the price . I had pretty much had a good idea of what I was expecting for a price in this area but when Anthony gave me an estimate , I was very pleased ! I was excited ! OMG ,I thought to myself , this is beyond my wildest dreams . His price was incredibly good . So , I hired him ! He came back with his crew ( Matt and Chris) and went to work . The house is 2350 square ft with an upstairs and the job took an extra day because of a complication with the upstairs double vanity and the access because of how the structure is built but these guys went the extra mile to get it done right ! Anthony told me that if I needed any fixtures like faucets or toilets replaced he would have his crew install it at no extra cost because they were already there . I only had to buy the fixtures and toilets myself . I showed him what I was considering from the Home Depot page and he told me if it was a good choice before I ordered it . I ended up expanding the job . I asked him for an estimate to replace the copper from the street meter which went under the garage slab or driveway . Again , his estimate was outstanding , which included a ditch 18 inches deep , which Matt hand dug in a few hours . Now nothing runs under the house . Anthony even added another outside faucet for me ! Anthony and his crew worked long hours each day . They would get here at 9am and sometimes didn't leave until 7 and 8 pm and they were tired at the end of the day . The next day they would return with smiles and ready to work . The first day , they started with covering the walls and furniture and everything with plastic and when they left each night , they would clear out any trash and swept the floors . On the final day , Anthony wet mopped the floors ! Anthony showed me that the toilet in the master bathroom wasn't seated right because of the tile . He fixed it correctly with an adaptor which he didn't charge me . I also had another problem that he took care of . We have 3 showers and when anyone would flush a toilet ot turn on a faucet or run the washer or dishwasher the shower would turn too hot and we would need to back up from the shower . We used to tell our family of four that we are going to use the shower and don't flush or use cold water . Anthony told us the shower cartridges needed to be replaced . We paid for the 3 new cartridges and he installed them for free AND the problem in all 3 showers are fixed . Anthony and his crew are very honest and upfront ! They do everything by code and they don't cut corners . They don't try to sell you anything extra . If you have any questions or ideas , Anthony gives accurate up front answers with outstanding estimates which he sticks to . Anthony types everything out with parts and explanations of what he is going to do . He will e mail you to review the contract for corrections or changes !
