Due to its attachment to the pressure regulator and back flow preventer, the original piece are all welded together. Making it impossible for regular handyman or myself to fix it. We just recently bought a home in corona. Teddy came over with Matthew to take a look at our sink and stove. It appears when they did the remodel things weren't connected properly which after Teddy thoroughly explained to me what was happening and did it in a way that made complete sense. We discovered a water leak adjacent to our water meter that ended up being on the property side of the meter. We chose Scott McLeod Plumbing to take a look based on recommendations from trusted friends and reviews posted on Yelp. I called at 8:15 am on New Year's Eve. Jessica answered and was able to arrange a visit later in the morning. I wasn't looking for an emergency call-out, but she advised there would be no holiday or after hour surcharge. Jessica was polite and professional and put me at ease during a stressful time. Within an hour, Erick and Michael arrived. They immediately got to work digging and pumping water out of the meter housing. They located the leak, provided a reasonable estimate, and got to work. Complications resulted in unforeseen additional work, but they pushed on and completed the repair later that afternoon. Despite the added work, they honored the original estimate with no additional costs. Erick and Michael worked hard, without complaint even as rain began to soak them shortly after they began work. I have lived in Ontario for many years, and (until recently) had never tried McLeod Plumbing (for routine drain service, or whatever); however, the "Pro's" I had utilized in the past come nowhere even CLOSE to the prompt & excellent service provided by PETER ORTIZ -- of McLeod Plumbing in replacing our Garbage Disposal! What set Peter apart from previous technicians we have had in the past was the transparency with which he explained our options (saving a little money by purchasing the part ourselves, etc.), and their ramifications (slightly different part, WITHOUT extended coverage) -- which allowed for me to make the best decision. Peter also took the time to explain various maintenance strategies -- such as periodically using White Vinegar as a "natural" flushing / cleaning agent (i.e. non-chemical / more environmentally & HARDWARE Friendly :-).
