Excellent service and super friendly team. They were caring and attentive. Reasonable pricing as well.

Friendly, polite, and professional. Very competitive quote. Did a terrific job, and went above & beyond leaving the place much cleaner than when he began. I recommend him without any hesitation! read more

It has been over a decade since my 5 star review for Andy, and he still deserves it! We had a rental house with your classic clogged drain, and chose someone local with a free evaluation. They were great, until the drain clogged again- a month later. Despite this other compay's guarantee, they charged me again for unclogging, but it happened again. They couldn't figure out a reason, and we even had a 2nd company out to check. Finally, I asked Andy to drive out for it, he made time for us during a busy holiday weekend, and he diagnosed the problem (a little more complicated than the superficially clogged drain), quoted a fair price, and fixed the problem. I recommend Andy as someone who is incredibly thorough and will get to the root of a problem rather than collecting fees for temporary fixes. I trust and highly recommend Andy. Thank you again. read more

I Had a great experience! . I originally called them out just for an estimate and the price was totally fair -- no nonsense, no upsell. They also caught and fixed some bad work a previous plumber left behind, which was a huge relief. And honestly, the three guys who came out were some of the nicest people -- incredibly respectful of my place, put on shoe covers (even after I told them they didn't need to), and just generally treated everything with care. Overall, super easy to deal with and the work was done properly. I'd definitely use them again. read more

Professional and punctual. They identified and fixed the problem. Would hire them again.

We had a new faucet installed with Gus and my wife was thrilled with their professionalism, cleanliness and timeliness. We unfortunately had another unrelated leak and Gus came out the next day and fixed it promptly. We came from using a home warranty without a choice in the vendor and have had such bad experiences we decided to go off warranty and by a friend's recommendation found Gus. I'm happy with their services and quick follow up. The price for the service was also in the expected range and worth it to me. read more

Used Andy's Plumbing with a kitchen leak. Gus was recommended by a trusted friend and I was thrilled with the service! I requested him when I called Andy's and they were able to squeeze in an inspection right away in the DTLA area. We were previously told a bigger job was going to be needed to fix the leak but after a thorough look from Gus and Sergio, they determined a new faucet was all that was needed. I decided to ask them to just do the job at that moment and they were quick, clean, and great at communicating issues and answering questions I had! Would definitely use this company again. read more

Andy Castillo plumbing is an excellent, highly professional service. They really know what they're doing, and are dedicated to their work. They changed out my water heater that leaked all into my attic as well as a toilet within two days, and left the place sparkling when done. Really stand up people, very polite and genuinely want to help. They Always try to fix rather than swap which I really appreciate. They're always trying to take the most economical yet top quality approach to solving the issues. Gus was fantastic. He came, inspected the toilet, realized it's completely outdated, but still went out to see if a part would be available for it, and after exhausting all options, came back with options and recommendations. Once we gave him the go ahead to swap it out, he came back with a new one that afternoon and finished the job in an hour, leaving the bathroom perfectly clean. No footprints and dirt tracking all over the house.. Highly recommend them! read more

My toilet wasn't flushing well & I needed help first thing this a.m. I had heard of Andy Castillo Plumbing by word of mouth & I looked the company up on the BBB...a 5 star A+ rating. I called & spoke to Andy & he was so understanding about my wanting help so he gave me an early appointment. The plumbers showed up even 15 minutes early. Luckily this job was an easy fix & I was so impressed! For all your plumbing needs, please call Andy for help. You will not be sorry. Very professional service! Holly V. 7/20/2023 read more

I left a message for Andy Castillo at 7:45 am on a Monday morning after learning that we had a gas leak from our water heater and the gas company had just shut off our gas. He returned my call by 8:30 am and told me he could have two of his guys come take a look and fix it between 1 pm and 3 pm that SAME day. The guys arrived between the designated times and quickly assessed the issue. They gave me a very reasonable quote for the gas leak, correcting the ventilation that removes the CO2 and exhaust from the water heater and bringing it up to code - as well as 2 other small plumbing jobs we needed help with. I asked if that would be a firm quote, and they said, "Yes." They needed to go buy parts, but returned very quickly. Gus and his helper worked very quickly and efficiently. They were quiet and left zero mess. The jobs were done professionally and looked super sharp. Even the gas service man commented on what a professional and great job the plumbers did! He said given that it was the holidays and how busy he was around this time, he was impressed that Andy Castillo could send out help on the same day - especially on a Monday! I will be using Andy Castillo (and hopefully - especially GUS) again whenever I need a plumber. I give them my highest rating possible and am grateful to have found them...thanks to my neighbor recommending them to us. read more

I used Andy Castillo Plumbing to assist with relocating a couple of water heaters and the associated gas/ water lines. The previous situation was supremely half assed and dangerous. Him and his crew demolished a storage space the next room over and made a new laundry area and reinstalled the 2 water heaters with new proper venting. It was his idea to run it that way and its been working great ever since. This was almost 6 y, ears ago when I bought my place in the 90032. When it was all done he came through the next evening and made sure everything was good to go and that I was good with the work. In the end it was double what I expected to spend but the solution that was presented to me was the best and safest way to go. read more

Gus fixed the downspout on my bathtub (the same one 2 other contractors said I had to open up the wall to fix) very efficiently and for a reasonable price, without opening up the wall. I will definitely use these guys again for my plumbing needs. read more

Very professional. I will definitely call them first. Thanks guys. GOD bless you! read more

5 minutes. That's how long it took Andy to diagnose and repair a shower that was not producing hot water. I had brought in another plumber the day before who changed out the cartridge twice with no result. I was also quoted a significant fee to break through a wall and 'fix' what didn't really need fixing. Andy, thank you for your professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend Andy Castillo Plumbing. read more

Had a new dishwasher installed, and the installers didn't want to hook up the water line because the valve was stuck (I confirmed this) and they didn't want to risk breaking it. I called Andy and explained my situation. He sent out Gus to check it out, and he was great. He listened to me, discussed the option of replacing the valve but did not try to sell me on it. After turning off the water supply to the house, he carefully and successfully was able to open the valve! I offered to pay but he declined. These guys are the real deal. I've run across other plumbers who are arrogant, talk down to you and/or try to up sell to you. Not these guys. They are my go to plumbers from now on! read more

I cold-called Andy today at 9a at the recommendation of a neighbor. He was smart, funny and said his colleague would be over soon. It's now 9:50a and Gus has come and gone. He unclogged my drain like a pro and was meticulous about cleanliness. Price was fair. I don't know what more I can say other than I've found my new plumber. read more

My water heater went out. My neighbor recommended Andy Castillo Plumbing. She had more done on her plumbing and was more than satisfied. I called and within a couple hours, Gus was at my house. He sized up the problem and answered all of my questions. I was leaning toward replacement before he came, but he took time to explain the options, which made me very comfortable with my decision. Gus worked hard and let me watch while explaining every step of the process. I learned a lot. By the time the job was finished, Gus and I were friends. Plumbing repairs shouldn't be this much fun. Chose to work with this company after reading reviews on yelp, Angie's list and the BBB. I found water leaking under my washer when I was running laundry and traced the water to the end of the return hose that connects the washer to the house drain on the wall spilling all over the floor. Called Andy and he was able to schedule me the same day. Gus and Sergio came out to assess the problem, they found the obstruction, cleared it, tested the line afterwards to make sure no more obstruction, cleaned up after themselves (including wearing shoe covers which I appreciated), all for a reasonable price. I have an old house which means old drain lines that were not replaced before I bought the house . The right long term solution is to replace the drains which is costly and would require braking slab, flooring etc. Gus gave an honest opinion of how long I can hold it off until and gave different short term options. I've worked with other plumbers for different issues and jobs. These guys were polite, efficient, mindful not to make a mess or scratch my floors/walls/ appliances and got the job done! read more

All I can say is WOW - this was a very great experience with Andy Castillo plumbing! I have used his service several times over the years but this time it was just extremely great service! Unfortunately my main water pipe broke, in the garden and thank God I was just standing there when it happened! I shut off the water and called Andy! He is very professional, honest and knowledgeable! He send out his worker but the work was more extensive! Next day Andy and two workers came to figure out what needed to be done! My house is old and some pipes, specially the one that broke are galvanized! Anyway, Andy's crew had to dig up my garden, crawl underneath the house to put new pipes in! Since rain was in the forecast, he scheduled the workers for the following week and offered to put a temporary pipe to my garage so I could do my laundry! I thought it could wait, declined but since the rain lasted several more days I called Any again to ask for the temporary pipe and he send out one worker who put the pipe up during pouring rain! So amazing! The workers came after the rain, digging up my garden, working all day! Very clean and on time, good Communication! After the work was done, I was amazed how need they put my garden back together! Really highly recommend Any Castillo Plumbing! Just fantastic! read more

We called Andy Castillo in an emergency because we had a pipe break leading into our house. While Andy was not available that day to fix the issue he was still able to send his guys out to check out the problem almost immediately and they fixed it the very next morning. The guys did quality work digging up the pipe and burying everything again in a tidy fashion. Andy personally came by to deliver the invoice and make sure we were happy with the job he even came back personally later so that we could connect our drip system to the pipes they installed. Andy and his team are quality neighborhood plumbers and fairly priced for the quality of work. Thanks Andy! read more

Call Andy Castillo Plumbing to see if my kitchen sink and the sink hook up to the washer to see if there's blockage on my plumbing due to water going down very slowly. Gus came out today and take a look and told me that the pipe hooked up to the washer was a bit small but still works fine and did not see there's a need to run the snake or anything like that. He was very professional, friendly and very honest answering my questions. He also runs a water test on the kitchen sink and did not find any issue w/ it either. Just want to say that I am truly happy to find Andy Castillo Plumbing was honest about the diagnostic of my plumbing and highly recommend them for any plumbing issue. read more
