Never have I underwent a torture session on my cuticles. I kept jumping, grimacing, and crying and the woman doing my manicure would stop, pat my hand, then continue on with the torture session. I am a super forgiving person and I should have demanded another manicurist but why would the pedicurist and others let me continued to be tortured based on my reactions I do not know. I called and scheduled an appointment for 3:30 (I took the time they said was available) today. I show up at said appointment approximately 5 minutes early to check in. Right as I walked in 2 ladies walked in also. They took and seated the other lady and her friend who had NO APPOINTMENT while I was asked to wait another 10 minutes past my appointment time to get my nails done. This is not how you run a business that will generate return customers. When I was offered no apology for being made to wait for my scheduled appointment I chose to leave. If I could give no stars I would, they clearly don't understand the concept of valuing and retaining your customers. read more

I went in to get my acrylics removed prior to a surgery a few weeks ago. They soaked my fingers in acetone and are helping other customers. No big deal. Well, the lady came over to start using the drill on my nails. I'm watching the TV in front of me so I'm looking up like she asked I do. While she was drilling a piece of the acetone soaked acrylic hit me in the inner corner of my eye. I was obviously in pain and She pointed me to the bathroom. I had my entire eye closed because of what had just happened. I was not given help to get into the bathroom or to wash out the acetone soaked acrylic piece. Instead, she went to another client in a chair using the exact same drill bit she was using on me so it was absolutely unsanitary. I came back out after a few minutes and had to wait an additional 5 before she came to do the rest of my nails. She said I told you to look up which I had replied I was. I was watching tv. So she tried to BLAME ME! (My eye was in pain but I couldn't leave with the acrylics the way they were) one she is done and removes the acrylic, does my manicure because again I can have anything on my nails for surgery. My manicure wasn't great. She left my natural nails uneven and misshapen. I eventually left, my eye still bothering me, I went home and washed it out more. I ended up going to the ER the next day because I was having bad headaches and vision issues. Their testing found a corneal abrasion in my right eye. I had to get antibiotics because of the unsanitary nail but that was used. 3 weeks later and I'm still having blurry vision in my right eye and have to go to a specialist. They didn't even attempt to take prices off of the service or do anything to help resolve this issue and now I could have permanent eye damage for life because they were using unsanitary nail bits and not giving the proper protection for clients. Please reconsider going into this nail salon. I've had acrylics removed many times prior and never had something like this occur. The proper protections and sanitary measures are not taken at this place and as a result I have vision issues potentially for life. read more

Mindy was so, so sweet. They were slammed and she managed to fit us in without letting it disrupt anyone else's experience. You could really tell she's about more than just the money, she's giving an experience.. which unfortunately isn't how most do business these days. Anyhow, every single person working who had just been thrown way more work than expected, seemed just like Mindy, only caring about making us happy. When I walked in today, weeks later, Mindy, again, greeted me with a huge smile and showed me to Lindsay's chair... the. She hugged me, asked how my trip was and said "I'm so glad you're back!" Like, come on, way to make a girl feel welcome!!! Now, to Lindsay, I've always tried to make small talk with my nail tech, because.. thats what humans sitting that close to each other do, I think? Anyways, normally to no avail sometimes just their names. Not Lindsay, she jumped right in with me and her conversation was wonderful. She was so open, friendly and funny! Turns out she's Mindy's sister and the gentleman working in there is Lindsay's very kind, very patient husband. They do such a good job on my nails, they have all the new products and master them, because it's actually a passion of theirs.. but, all of that aside, they treat you like family and they've just won me over as a forever (as long as Lindsay's there ) customer! read more

Except for Mindy, no one seems to know what they are doing, or even how to do it. They should know how to put the liner in the basin and other basics before they serve customers. And it was clear they were complaining to each other the whole time I was there. It was expensive and disappointing. I am not inclined to go back. There are many other nail salons. This was my second time here. Both me and my husband got basic manicures and pedicures this time, first time we got only pedicures. The 2 ppl doing my nails were definitely under-experienced and the the lady doing my pedicure was not interested in what she was doing. The man doing my manicure didn't file or massage properly. He massaged for just a couple minutes and did not even do my fingers. Even after the manicure my nails were filled with crap. The lady was very bad at massage as well, she kept massaging the same part of my foot the entire time. This place is horrible. My sister is currently getting her nails done and the women doing her nails has no idea what she's doing. Doesn't know how to do any designs, doesn't know how to shape her nails, brushed the acrylic the wrong way!!!! and doesn't know how to listen when you ask her to make one nail look like the rest. After asking 5 times to flatten out the top of what's supposed to be coffin but turned into almond, she rudely swiped the top of her nail once or twice and made no difference every time. After not double checking that she was satisfied with the shape she is already pulling out other tools to move on. Trying to rush people out the door and having a staff that does not have experience or proper training is not the way to go. She completely messed up the design and didn't do anything she asked for. Tried to go back in and get refund because my sister was so upset and they denied a refund because the owner wasn't there. Ridiculous they ask us to come in TOMORROW to fix her nails and wouldn't fix them on the spot. The. proceeded to deny us a receipt or some proof to show how much we were owed. Had to take it upon my self to get someone to put an amount and signature on a fucking business card. This is the worse salon I have ever been to and will be expecting $60 tomorrow to fix this mistake. don't waste you're money or time. Part 2- My sister called ahead today to let them know she would be coming in to get her nails fixed and they asked her if she could come in another hour, which she could not so she stated "if you can't fix them i would just like my refund." When she arrived to get them fixed Daniel the guy who was supposed to fix them had just started on a person (literally she walked in and he was gluing tips on her fingers) ... knowing someone was coming in to get nails fixed and told her he would be able to do them and asked her again to wait an hour. After she said no he was able to refund her without his boss there (which is surprising because he couldn't do it yesterday and all it took was a phone call) he then asked her to delete her yelp review. Confused she asked what yelp review? he responded with "your sister left it. can you delete it, it looks bad". I'm so sorry your bad business got a bad reviews that's not our fault ! Please do not go here. So unprofessional, the cleanliness in horrible, and the staff in untrained and unqualified!! read more

I recently started working close by & had done a quick pedi on my lunch break once. It wasn't the best but it was convenient. I need to do a fill on my acrylics & I had no time to go to my regular nail lady in Vista. I called them asked how long they take for a fill & how much was the cost? Lady on The phone said 40 min & $35 for a fill. Perfect I have an hour lunch I made an appointment. The lady asked if my acrylics are powder or dip? I was a little confused, I've never been asked that I just said regular acrylic. She said she would file it down & check what it was. She proceeded to file one nail & says it's dip. I told her no I don't think so. & continues to say yea it's dip! Ok fine she's the professional I might be mistaking it, let me trust her. She adds acetone I believe with foil on all my nails to melt the acrylics off BECAUSE IT WAS NOT DIP!! this takes her 40 min to melt & file. She starts cutting me & tells me to not look at my nails to look at the Tv that's why she cuts me because I was Looking at my nails. She starts dipping my nails into the product. I have never done this before that's how I know I NEVER HAD DIP IN THE FIRST PLACE. She's taking her sweet as time touching money talking to her coworkers. Telling me to look away. It's way past the hour! I go to pay & she charges me $53. I was 20 min late to work. I'm angry that she lied to me saying I had dip when I didn't just to upsell Me on the product! So disappointed, I would have been a loyal customer since it would be so convenient for me to go during my lunch or after work. Ohh & the nails came out soooo ugly! I hate them!! read more

It was an underwhelming experience. Minimal esthetic and the "wait" area is two chairs behind a bookshelf. Very claustrophobic and awkwardly quiet. I helped myself to the color wheels scattered throughout the salon only to find out I was looking at dip colors and not gel (there weren't any markings). I had a reference picture of a colored French tip. My natural nails are long and slightly almond shaped so she hardly shaped my nails on my right hand. The design itself was done well but my right hand got worked on a lot more than my left so I had to correct the shape and unstick my skin from the top coat once I got home and could look at them closer. My toes were just one plain color and looked good while I was there, but the next day I noticed a quarter of my polish on my left toe rubbed completely off because the polish was so thick that it didn't cure all the way. My right toe was also slightly tacky in places. It's also the most I've ever paid for a mani/pedi ever. Probably won't come back. read more
