There is no real tea here, only chemical-heavy powdered slush mixes. Not the place for an iced tea with boba. Mediocre ice cream.

Good. Friendly. Fast. Creamy, not icy. Waffle cone was tasty and crispy. Easy parking. Try the Spumoni.

One of the best waffle cones we've ever had! Mocha almond fudge was our flavor of choice. Will be back!

melted ice cream. They changed ice cream brands or something. Not friendly employees. I'll try again in many moons.

I ordered 2, the bbq pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, since I couldn't decide and with tax both were under $25. The portions are large and come with a soup or soda to go. My food was hot and fresh and was ready immediately once I arrived. Lunch special pricing is M-F until 3 pm I believe. I will definitely be back! I appreciate this small business and the friendliness of the man working. I will be recommending to my friends who live closer to Burien too!

The broth had a rich, deep flavor slightly on the salty side, but I love it. The wontons were definitely the highlight for me, packed with a savory, umami-filled meat filling. The egg noodles had that perfect bouncy texture and weren't overcooked at all. Service was fast and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. The shop itself is older but bright, colorful. Plus, super convenient with easy and free parking. Definitely a spot I come back every now and then when i'm craving a good bowl of wonton soup.

I was in the area, and a Seattle media outlet raved about them. They have their own parking lot and parking in the neighborhood is plentiful. They are on transit. They do takeaway. Almost all of the seating is long, about 16 persons. I have had fine roasted duck soup at a very reasonable price in other reviews. Ducks are small, so a lot of bones. Duck is not cheap. This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center. I visited Thai Tom, another Stranger dive endorsement. Tung Kee Mì Gia should get a liquor license and become a hipster hangout to save their business. Maybe The Stranger can help them.

This area is host to some of the best Latin American Mercados! I shop at them all, and appreciate…read morethose like La Canasta (The Basket) that sell fresh produce (their cilantro is always fresh, and they sell prepared cactus!), dried chili's, real imported products (salsas, refried beans - Ducal red is hands down the best canned refined bean you can buy), and have a good carneceria (butcher) with authentic cheeses (favorite is the panela), fresh salsas, and prepared meats, like arranchera preparada (thinly sliced beef), al pastor (seasoned pork with pineapple), chicharron (fried pork skins), and chorizo seco (dry cured Mexican sausage). La Canasta is a great all around Mercado for every thing you need for home cooked tacos or burritos. They do not sell liquor, so for Mexican cervesa you'll have another stop. They also have an in-house restaurant with dine-in, take out, and delivery that is very good. The best thing that La Canasta does is their chorizo seco!! I have tried all of the local varieties from here to there, and La Canasta makes the best! I recommend grilling (be careful as it is oily and will flare up) and then crumbling on tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, etc. I also will prepare a bunch in advance and freeze, so I can pull out for quick reheat. Overall, La Canasta is a delightful Mercado for authentic Mexican/Latin food!
