It was wackily warm outside but you feel a nice breeze from AC inside; you then see a bunch of four-tops and a long table for larger parties along with welcoming wall decor to match. The front counter and register area are brightly lit and have a nice aesthetic to them, and tables are relatively clean. Their menu has not only Vietnamese food but also teriyaki, curry and pad thai among other options, so there's something for anyone coming in for something good to eat. For this visit I got their grilled pork and egg roll noodle bowl, which looks very standard and therefore delicious at first but I ended up not enjoying it. The vermicelli noodles had a rough texture, almost like it could have been boiled for another 5 seconds before plating. The pork is also chewy and tender but dry and lacking in flavor. The egg rolls were the only plus in this dish, but the sheer amount of noodles along with their texture didn't help while eating. My friend's chicken teriyaki with gyoza plate was slightly better, with the chicken also being dry despite the sauce and the gyoza being standard. But past that, service was fast and quick, along with the time it took for all our food to come out. Servers were attentive with answering questions and filling our water throughout, and we all wanted to stay a little longer just to take in the decor. This was sadly not one of my best meals for a place I really wanted to enjoy, however. I'm taking this visit as a one-off visit since there's so many other dishes to try here.
