Cream Puffy Flight (1/2 dozen)
Kayleigh W.

It's been too long since we came to puffy panda! My partner and I were in the area and had to make the 10 min detour to stop in. The vibe is cozy and full of fun panda art and Knick knacks. We were served promptly at the counter. We came for the puffy icecream sandwich but saw the Ube cookie and had to get it too. We didn't regret it! Once we finished the cookie, our warm puff pastry icecream sandwich was ready. Yum! We aren't huge on sweets, so splitting both was a good call. We got a 1/2 dozen of the cream puffys on our way out. We're looking forward to those treats!

I already cannot wait to come back! I've been dying to try Puffy Pandy for a while now. I knew that it would be dangerous to set foot here. I finally said "treat yourself" and so I did, and I'm glad I listened to my intuition. I got one of each mini cream puff flavor, the cutest teeny tiny macarons, and their mango milk with boba. I regret not taking a photo of what I got, but they were all soooo delicious! I did put a photo of the card they gave me with all the flavors, though, which I thought was a very nice touch! The cream puffs were nice and soft, the cream inside was nice and smooth, and the flavors tasted just like you'd imagine. The mini macarons were first off very cute and tiny! They give you an assortment of their flavors. All were very good, especially the Earl Grey, as it's my latest obsession right now. Needless to say, I'd definitely be back, especially for gifts for friends and family, as it's too good not to share!

Technically my third review for this place (if you count the Yelp Elite Experience event I went to for their ice cream puffys) since now I can recommend a third item on their menu: their macarons! This was during a cold and dark Saturday night and I wanted something to bring during a Friendsgiving potluck. I don't know why but this place suddenly came to mind; maybe I wanted something more colorful while still being small and a nice dessert to have. I started eyeing their 60-piece mini macarons, which was just $29 flat and was in a small container and was organized by color. Servers were really kind and asked me how my day was, along with answering my questions on the differences between macaron sizes. As a bonus, I have had their regular-sized macarons, both from a Yelp Elite event and on my own time, so I can vouch for both sizes now. Macarons are really tasty while not being too sweet. There's subtle differences among each color of macarons; I tasted hints of vanilla, strawberry and (maybe) cookies and cream among them. Outside crust for each macaron was soft yet firm when you bite into it, and filling is not at all overpowering. Needless to say, it was one of the first desserts to be completely gone by the time the Friendsgiving party was over, so that pretty much says how awesome their stuff is.

Pandas galore! Love the shop! So much panda that you just feel so happy! So MANY offerings! Boba, ice cream, cream puffs, ice cream filled puffs, puddings, and French macarons! Kids are addicted to the shop and they have regular sizes or mini ones so you can snack on the different flavors they offer. Quick and friendly service that makes you feel welcomed the moment you enter the shop. They offer vegan ice creams so for those who have a dairy allergy you can fulfill your creamy cravings.

Cream puffs: ube, white rabbit, pandan, dragon berry, matcha and Trix.

What an absolutely cute dessert spot! Adorned with all things panda, this shop offers a variety of treats like macaron, ice cream, cream puffs, boba tea and more. My family and I were in the area and wanted to try this establishment. We got the ube + Oreo ice cream puffy ($6.25), cream puffy sampler of 6 ($11.50) and a panda shaped stress ball ($10.xx) upon the request of my 3 year old. The ice cream puffy comes with a topping of choice (Oreos, fruity pebbles, cornflakes or sprinkles). I chose for more Oreos! For $6.25, it is a bit pricey, however, the cream puffy (which was toasted) paired well with the ice cream. The ice cream itself was also delicious and the pairing of Oreos with ube was surprisingly delicious. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely return. Street parking is the only available option, however, it wasn't too bad because we found a stall immediately in front of the store. As it was quite drizzly on our visit, it was convenient to have the car right there.

A panda themed cafe ... yes please! I got the puffy ice cream, specifically the cinnamon toast flavor with corn flakes as my topping. If you have a sweet tooth or are in the mood for something sweeter, definitely give it a try! Our server was extremely sweet! She offered us samples, answered our many questions and even made some helpful suggestions. There are pandas left to right, so if you're a hater of cute aesthetics then don't come here.

An amazing dessert gem located in downtown White Center, it really adds to the food scene here. Funny enough they found/followed me on TikTok a couple years ago and told me to come through, so you know I had to come in to support. I've been twice now (and many more visits to come) and I ordered a variety of mini cream puffys in different flavours. Each one of them was so good I can't pick a favourite. If you want to try all the flavours, I recommend ordering either the flight or dozen. I have also ordered Vietnamese coffee from here, and it's pretty good for what it is. Of course since they aren't a specialty coffee shop, the coffee isn't their best item. But definitely good for washing down all the other desserts. Staff are also very friendly and always there to help answer any questions. Can't wait to come back again this summer!

The southbound traffic, pouring rain, and the joys of back in angled parking were duly noted. However, stepping into Puffy Panda was a genuine ray of "sunshine" (5/31/25). Love the bright, panda centric interior, decor, and merch. So much upbeat items, live panda cam on the flat screen, bamboo wall decor, and featured art work. There was even a Dozfy mural sighting! Enticing pastry case with assorted macarons, puddings, tartlets, ice cream, tea, and coffee menu items. Ice cream flavor samples are offered, if desired. The counter staff were truly welcoming and all smiles. This brightened my mindset walking in. One can't help but feel buoyant and happy, at least it seemed to be my experience this afternoon as a solo diner. There were also others onsite or preferred having their treats as takeout. After checking in, I decided on a craquelin puffy with biscoff toast crunch ice cream and oreo topping. This was an unexpected, generous treat that I enjoyed onsite. Wow - an absolute panda palate party! I also purchased mango pudding to take home. Look forward to that! Be sure to sign up at the main counter with your cell phone and email to receive and accrue points with all purchases. It was great to revisit Puffy Pandy for a Yelp event and add this as a destination when I'm in White Center.

Cute interior with cute merch

I finally made it to the store - updating to a full review and upping to a full 5 Stars. Omg, this store is adorable through and through! The outside is cute, the inside wall decorations are cute, the merch are cute, the packaging boxes are cute, and get this, even the bathroom is cute!! According to their website, they spent 6 months designing and conceptualizing their vision turning their commercial kitchen into a store front. Dang, hats off to the owner Donna and her team. Bravo! + 0.5 Star for décor! Their location in White Center is along one of their downtowns main corridors on 16th Ave SW. Parking is street parking only, but we never had problems finding a space. The streets felt safe. We parked once and easily walked to our destinations. Our service was provided by Donna, as well as two other team members. Donna was incredibly patient and informational. Thank you for answering my many questions! I came twice, before grocery shopping/dinner, and after dinner to buy a drink for the ride home. They close at 8pm, so it was easy to return and grab something cold. +0.5 Star for service! The Food: Box of 6 mini cream puffs, $11.50 - 5 Stars For this visit, we chose Thai tea, ube, pandan, and matcha. The crispy top lasted through the day and was still good at night. Each cream puff is well filled, and the flavors are spot on. Box of 6 full size macarons, $16 - 4.5 Stars We chose ube, pandan, Earl Grey, cappuccino, and white rabbit. The full-size ones carry the flavors very well. I highly recommend them. The Earl Grey was a bit milder than I like. I have had better Earl Grey treats. The other flavors are all very good and on-point. I am happy with this box overall. Notice the inconsistent sizes of the six in the photo. I *love* that about handmade/housemade macarons. It feels like the real deal. Box of mini macarons, small box, about 30 pcs, $16 - 4 Stars I love mini size treats, but I have to admit that when I am munching on the minis, the flavors are not as potent. I am certain the processes, the ingredients, everything is the same. It is how I perceive the flavor. I tried eating a couple of the same flavor at the same time to up the enjoyment. It didn't feel the same. The good thing is they are easy to share. So, I will likely buy these for gifts but buy myself the normal size ones in the future. Pandan milk tea, $5.95 - 5 Stars Pandan flavor is uncommon for milk teas. Theirs is fantastic. It is still black tea based; the pandan flavor comes through wonderfully. For a unique drink, I highly recommend this one.

Ube Oreo Puffy with Oreo bits
Carol C.

I was excited for the opportunity to try out this dessert cafe. The Ube Oreo puffy topped with Oreo bits was pure joy. It was so good served in a warmed up puff. They have a nice variety of ice cream flavors from local vendors and some made in-house. We were offered generous samples. Flavors included cookie monster, pandan, white rabbit, coffee toffee crunch and Biscoff cinnamon crunch. Hubby got a double scoop of double fudge brownie and Biscoff cookie crunch topped with fruity pebbles and daughter got a puffy with cookie monster topped with Oreo bits. Both were happily enjoyed. Welcoming staff with wonderful customer service at this cute dessert shop. We look forward to returning!

the owner is so kind! she went out of her way to find me cool whale watching spots in the area and gave me ice cream samples while i was deciding on what to order. i love the ube latte, but this time i tried the pandan latte and it was so yummy! i don't live in seattle, but i think about this place often. i will be coming back as much as i can!

The cream puff was delicious. Cafe sua da is strong! Super friendly staff. Support this local business! They did not skimp out on really making this a PANDA shop. (Even the bathroom tiles are on a panda shape.)

Pandan Milk Tea
Albert T.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #72 After having a fantastic ice cream puff from Puffy Pandy, I decided to return to try one of their very interesting looking milk teas. Pandan milk tea? That's certainly a rarity! Pandan Milk Tea, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.70) - I was told this has a black tea base and is made with fresh milk. The milk tea is very fragrant and has a very nice mellow pandan flavor that coats the mouth with every sip. It's pretty much perfectly not-too-sweet at 50%, a pleasant surprise versus a lot of other boba shops. The boba isn't too bad at all. It's kind of sticky, velvety and softer on the exterior, indicating a long sugar soak, and the interior has a good level of chew and bounce. The boba is of a somewhat smaller variety, so the amount of bounciness is limited by the size. For a place that doesn't specialize in boba drinks this one is surprisingly good. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Everything at Puffy Pandy seems to be high quality. I would return anytime I'm in White Center or West Seattle. Bathrooms - One unisex room.

As you can see from my review years ago, when my hubs and I came back from a trip to Italy, we wanted to find a gelato shop that had the same quality as the shops in Rome. Not all the gelato and sorbetto we had in Italy was good, some flavors tasted artificial, and during our time there, we learned how to tell the good from the meh. When we returned to Seattle, we were happy to find great-Italy-like gelato at the Bottega Italiana in Green Lake. After that shop closed (still sad about that!) we started going to their other shop by Pike Place Market. For years, this place featured delicious, fresh, quality gelato and sorbetto that tasted like the flavors they were labeled with--so strawberry tasted like eating real strawberries and so on. But on a recent visit, I got a small cup with strawberry and raspberry-dragon fruit and the first flavor I got when I tasted it was sugar. As I ate more of it, it started to remind me of Jolly Rancher candies, not totally, but enough to turn me off. They use just enough fruit to make you believe it's the flavor that it's labeled with, but the amount of sugar and other things added makes their fruit flavors as meh as the not-so-good shops we learned to avoid in Rome. Alas, I think my favorite gelato shop in Seattle has fallen prey to profit over quality. Why, Bottega Italiana, why??? It makes me and my hubs very sad. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the service was friendly and efficient, and my hubs's dairy-based gelato flavors were all right--not great but all right. Over the years, we've tried all the other gelato shops in Seattle and none of them measure up either. I guess it's time we take another trip to Italy.

In fact, never too much for an average one either - because, let's be honest, even an average chocolate chip cookie is wonderful if you're an office chair. Not peeking the menu before I went, I was pleasantly surprised at the varieties of chocolate chip cookies they had to offer. Being the office chair I am, I swiveled left and right, inspecting the entire display, and ended up getting one of each (ok, that's a lie... I got 4 of each ). While each of them were great, the Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip cookie got me. The whole wheat offered something a bit different - a bit more of a nutty earthiness that you typically get with a brown butter chocolate chip cookie, but also with the pleasant illusion that I was making a healthy choice by going whole wheat. So, if you're an office chair like me roll on over to Hello Robin. You'll be glad you did.
