Honeydew Milk Tea was fruity and creamy, not too sweet at 100%. Legend of Momo was less sweet as recommended by the cashier and it was perfect! Lots of parking and seating inside too. read more

Every single bobalust location I've ever visited has made great drinks with even sweeter customer service, and this one is no different! I'm always so surprised by how friendly and helpful the employees are, no matter which spot I visit! They're doing a great job with hiring great folks. Drinks are sweet and creative without any of that overwhelming artificial flavor, and I love all the pop culture references in the names. There is also a secret menu that the employees are open to sharing and making recommendations from if you share your flavor preferences with them! I'm always looking for excuses to visit Bobalust and I highly recommend you do too! read more

Ordered the OG Milk Tea with honey boba (since it was my first time here), no modifications. Their boba was perfectly soft and chewy. Tea was delicious and sweet (but not overly sweet). Friendly staff, huge and bright space; seemed very clean. Plenty of seating if you're looking for a spot to catch up with friends. Lots of parking because it's in the large plaza but on the other side from Safeway and UPS. No complaints at all. Will be back! read more

BobaLust is really expanding!! They recently opened a Burien location - it's located in the Safeway plaza, in a building that's two doors down from the L&L hawaiian bbq. My friend said that the spot used to be a former Starbucks. The space inside is really nice and modern with lots of beautiful plants. The menu is the same as the other locations and they've got lots of tasty options. My friend ordered their taro milk tea with boba and I ordered the Legend of Momo which is this delicious peach tea drink with pieces of peach on the bottom. Very sweet and very refreshing. The place opens promptly at 1p (which feels a little late - it would be nice if they opened at noon for the lunching hour. The staff is efficient and churns out those drinks. Parking is easy since it's a big shopping plaza. I'm really happy to see Burien finally get a legit boba shop in the area! read more

First time at the Burien location and glad to see it was busy, given that the Tukwila location isn't too far away from here. I have been to the Tukwila and Tacoma locations before, so when comparing the interior, the Burien location is more spacious if you are looking to bring in a group of friends to hang out. Came in around 8:00-8:10PM and left around 8:30PM, which isn't too bad given there were more than five groups ahead of us with only two (maybe three) people working. We ordered the Lychee Bomb (lychee and strawberry with bits of strawberries and lychee jelly) and Blue Lagoon (blue curaçao lychee shaken green tea with mango jelly and added tapioca for an additional $0.50). They originally forgot to add the tapioca to the Blue Lagoon, but once we brought it up to them, they were kind and quick about fixing it for us! read more

Came here for the yelp experience. The cafe was in big complex with ample of parking space available. It wasn't overly crowded. Nice that they are open till late. They have a wall dedicated to take cool pics. Sweet and short menu. Few sitting space available. I ordered their:- Purple Galaxy- Which is a Ube & Oreo drink, had it with honey sweetened boba. My boyfriend & I came here pretty late in the evening so we got the smoothies. It's definitely a cute place, but a little noisy with how loud the music was blaring haha. I got the Taro and Oreo blended (Purple Galaxy) which was just ok. I'm not a picky person when it comes to food/drinks, but I didn't find anything about it super special. I tried my boyfriend's smoothie which was blended peach, mango, and strawberry (Cuddles on the Beach) & we both thought it was pretty good! I was excited to see a Bobalust had opened in Burien and decided to stop in when I was in the area. Bobalust's menu isn't as overwhelming as some tea shops, but there is still enough to choose from that I spent some time asking the counter person plenty of questions, all of which she kindly answered and gave recommendations. I went with a Stargirl (jasmine green tea with raspberry peach flavor and mango jelly). I added some mango bits and asked for zero sweetness since the syrup makes it sweet enough for me. The shop is clean and modern, with enough spare and seating to enjoy your bevvy onsite if you like. read more

Finally, they opened one of these boba places in Burien. It being a small area it doesn't get that much attention. This Bobalust is located right off the highway and right across Safeway. Their hours are slightly annoying though since the store opens normally at 2pm which is the reason I haven't got to go as much as I wanted. Their drinks first off amazing. Definitely speak with the front end people and get a feel of the sugar levels if you don't want your drink to taste like diabetes. Lastly, the workers are totally welcoming to whoever walks in being a small location; they seem to have everything under control. The female working at the cash register was nice to recommend the suggested sugar levels and drinks. We even had a good conversation about being relatively new to the neighborhood. I met up with one of my cousins today and she told me that a new Boba shop opened up near her home. She said it was called Bobalust. I know they have a location in Kent but I haven't been to that one either. I decided to stop by the Burien location before heading home and they were pretty busy. I think word is getting out that they're now open because there were a lot of people ahead of me and a steady flow of customers that came in behind me. Staff is really friendly and welcoming. The shop is super cute and festive with Halloween decorations. I hope they continue to decorate with the upcoming holidays. I had the Strawberry Seduction. It was good but I couldn't finish it. Shocker...lol I can never finish these large drinks. Burien needed a Boba shop and now they have one. Why drive to Southcenter for bubble tea when you now have a convenient location at one of the busiest intersections of Burien. read more

Quick, great service, and yummy selection of drinks. You can make your own flavor combination, or choose a pre-made combo which gives you quite a few choices. Including smoothie choices. My drink was really good. I especially enjoyed how it wasn't overly sweet! Great bang for your buck, especially in the summer. Very clean and modern interior. However, the statements about the inside getting really hot, are accurate. My friend and I intended on having our drinks inside, but after 10 mins of the blaring sun at our table, we decided to leave. Kind of a bummer. If you like cough syrup sweet and overcharging, def go here. They charge extra for less ice, add hella sugar even when you ask for half sugar and the boba were dry and pasty. I went there last month and I'm still grossed out. The bad taste has yet to leave my memory, somehow. I had to post here to warn others. read more

Woo! Another BobaLust! Located across the parking lot from the Safeway in Burien Plaza, they're currently in the soft opening phase at the time of this review so they're running limited hours and not quite as busy yet. Location is bright, open, setup for indoor seating, and quite cozy. Drinks are great and on par with other BobaLust locations; ask about their secret menu! I love Bobalust for their consistency. A big reason I keep coming back is that their boba (tapioca) will ALWAYS been so good. I bounce between this location and the one in Tukwila and am never dissapointed. The staff is always very friendly, the wait time is always minimal, and the drinks are always delicious. This one is so cute with all of the plants as their decor! I am in the area regularly and am always down to stop in for a Legend of Momo or a Thai green milk tea! read more

I got an OG milk tea with boba. The tea itself was tasty but the amount of ice is ridiculous. It felt like I got half a drink and it took a lot to get the boba around all the ice. La Canasta is a great all around Mercado for every thing you need for home cooked tacos or burritos. They do not sell liquor, so for Mexican cervesa you'll have another stop. They also have an in-house restaurant with dine-in, take out, and delivery that is very good. The best thing that La Canasta does is their chorizo seco!! I have tried all of the local varieties from here to there, and La Canasta makes the best! I recommend grilling (be careful as it is oily and will flare up) and then crumbling on tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, etc. I also will prepare a bunch in advance and freeze, so I can pull out for quick reheat. Overall, La Canasta is a delightful Mercado for authentic Mexican/Latin food!

This shop is tucked away in the side arm of the D-gate area, making it much less crowded than the main walkway in the terminal. There are two ways to order - firstly via the kiosk (no line when we visited) and secondly in person (a line of 5 or 6 people). Black Milk Tea w/ Boba ($8) - I ordered via kiosk to save time and totally blanked on the fact that it doesn't allow ice or sugar level adjustments. Just as I went to pick up the drink about 5 minutes after my order, I thought about this fact and started worrying about the sugar levels. At 100% sweet, I typically find most other boba shops cloyingly sweet. This place, fortunately, uses cane sugar, so the sweetness is more mellow and not as grating. Even at full sweetness, while a little too much for my palette, isn't harsh or overwhelming. The drink comes with whole milk by default. Unlike other more premium shops that only add a splash of milk on top, this one seems to be more like 50/50 tea vs. milk. This adds a bunch of richness to the drink, but also increases the dairy flavor quite a bit, which combined with the sugar overpowers the tea a little. There's still some of the malty and somewhat fruity notes towards the end of the sip. They add a ton of ice. That's something I will definitely be asking for adjustment on in the future. The boba isn't bad at all. There are some issues with consistency in terms of size and due to that, texture. They are soaked in brown sugar syrup, giving a soft and velvety texture on the exterior. The smaller pearls are chewy throughout, while the larger pearls are a bit too firm and grainy towards the center. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 I was really surprised by the quality of the drink I received. Honestly, before visiting, I thought this would be more of a 2 star kind of place! They also serve some really intriguing Filipino snacks that I'd love to come back to try out.

This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center. I visited Thai Tom, another Stranger dive endorsement. Tung Kee Mì Gia should get a liquor license and become a hipster hangout to save their business. Maybe The Stranger can help them.
