THE BIG: Crafted perfectly (no pun intended). One michelin starred restaurant and rightfully so. Tastefully minimalist interior with a big half square dining bar area for the guests. Parking is available in the lot outside. THE BLACK AND WHITE: My wife and I booked a reservation for Craft for her birthday. We got a reservation as soon as they opened back up from their holiday break. They do 3 slots per day. One at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. We got the 5pm since we had to go back to a young newborn afterwards. When we walked in, we were greeted with a welcome sparkling wine beverage. Then we were escorted to our seats in the dining area. This was a 22 course menu with service that was impeccable. My favorite bites from the meal was the tartare tartlet, the burst of umami set this bite apart. Then the scallop, otoro, and chu toro. Really hard to beat the toros when it comes to tuna. At the end of the meal, the servers came by and gave us personalized cards that were signed by the staff. Very cute and definitely left a great taste in our mouth. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the damage done was around $700 with tip and a reserve wine tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I'd definitely be back here again for another sushi omakase fix.

What an incredible experience! My husband and I booked a reservation about a month in advanced for a 5pm seating on a Thursday. We were running a few minutes late, but it was just in time for a few sips of the welcome beverage and to be seated in the dining area. The welcome beverage was a sparking wine cocktail. Light and refreshing! The dining area seats 12 people. Service overall is top notched. 22 courses is a lot for 2 hours, but they keep the dishes flowing and moving. They also take care of any dietary restrictions. My husband and I opted to share a wine reserve pairing and it was SOOOO good with the omakase. My favorites were the otoro with caviar, the tartare and the smoked mackerel. I like how they add a small curry and aguachile dish in the mix. I was pretty satisfied by the end of the night. They also give you the menu at the end with a special shoutout for whatever you're celebrating! 2 hours flew by but so well worth it.

Hard to get a reservation. The owner Charlie cooked for us. 22 dishes. My favorite is uni, fatty tuna, amber jack and striped jack.

4.5 stars Just went back a second time and this time it was definitely better than the first time. The fish was all very buttery, soft, and delicious. My fave was the otoro. The chefs were very engaging.

The experience itself was pretty straightforward - you show up, you enjoy everything the chefs have in mind for you, then you leave, happy. Unlike some of the other omakase establishments in town, there were no extras, no add ons, what you see is what you get. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink, then were shown to our seatings. The intimate 12-seat setting was about the same size as other Omakase places we've been to. Reservations are not that hard to get in advanced (at least not as difficult as Tsuke). The 22-course meal heavily features a combination of fresh seafood and dried age fish, with condiments and flavors that complement the tastes and textures of the fish very well. Each bite was something different, which is hard to achieve bite after bite. The chefs were good at keeping conversation and meal flows going, yet gave just enough space for each group to enjoy and chat among themselves. All in all, it was a great time - not pretentious, but rather very down to earth (still pricey, don't get me wrong) given they've retained their Michelin star for a second year in a row.

This place was spectacular! I can't wait to go back, it was absolutely delicious. It is such a intimate environment and the chef's make it such a good experience. Every dish was delicious, there isn't anything to complain about. You walk in and it's very calming. They give you a drink while you wait to take a seat. They already have your seats selected and just make the experience very easy. MUST TRY!

Went to Craft during the week with a small group and overall had a really solid experience. The vibe is intimate--only a handful of seats--and the whole omakase setup feels really exclusive, which we liked! Definitely a cool place to go if you're looking to celebrate or just want something a bit more elevated than your typical sushi spot!! The service was professional and mostly attentive, though at times it felt a little rushed between courses. Not a huge deal though. The chef clearly knows what he's doing --the fish was incredibly fresh, and the plating was beautiful. Highlights were the toro and the uni for sure. Also, they do a few warm dishes in between that were unexpected but really good. Drinks were tasty too! The seating area is small but very clean and well-designed. They give you warm towels at the start, which was a nice touch, and the flow of the meal was thoughtful. Felt very curated. Parking is also free and easy. Overall, we were impressed. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for a special night out, it delivers. Would come back again for another menu rotation or to bring someone new.

Craft Omakase has been my favorite omakase experience in the U.S. so far, simply because it hit my personal preferences perfectly. I'm particular about a few things when it comes to sushi: I want balanced saltiness (not overly soy-heavy), well balanced and expertly cooked rice, and fish that's fresh and clean--not fishy. On all these fronts, Craft absolutely delivered. The rice may not have been the best I've ever had, but it was spot-on for me. The fish was consistently delicious and flavorful, with thoughtful topping combinations that added dimension without overpowering the main ingredients. I appreciated the creativity--it aligned with how I often build "the perfect bite" myself. The portion sizes were just right, and the fish-to-rice ratio was perfect. And the uni? The best I've ever had, at least for my palate. As for the service, I didn't mind that several pieces were prepared in batches before serving. What did bother me was the late start--our reservation was for 8 PM, but we didn't get our first bite until after 8:20. My biggest critique is about the seating arrangement. My partner and I were placed at the corner of the bar, with an awkward distance between us. It made conversation difficult and took away from the intimacy we were hoping for. The space is small and meant to feel exclusive, but the volume of the room--plus other guests on their phones--dampened the atmosphere. Still, despite a few misses in timing and ambiance, the food itself was exceptional and exactly what I was craving. For those who are particular about flavor balance, freshness, and texture, Craft is a standout. Especially if you want a little more flavor dimension beyond tasting just the fish from your sushi.

Anything less than five stars for Craft would be an understatement because they really are that good. As a diehard omakase fan, I've tried most in the city, so this was one of the last remaining ones on my list. I would say Craft is most definitely top two, and it's immediately apparent how and why they've retained their Michelin star for two years in a row. Everything from service to timing to vibes were immaculate, and the menu is genuinely perfection. I really love when omakase restaurants stick to the traditional taste of the fish and add a few ingredients to enhance or bring out the flavor instead of completely remaking each course, and Craft does that really well. The entire staff is so friendly and sweet, and you won't come in here and experience any pretentiousness. Many of the chefs came from the Uchiko group, and they have years and years of experience under their belts. They emphasize a good time, so you know you'll certainly have one. This is definitely a restaurant that is worth the price and the recognition, and it has earned a top spot in my list for best restaurants in the entire state of Texas.

Wow I wish I could eat at Craft Omakase every month. The best sushi and small bites I've had in town. It is very pricy for me, but I am glad I was able to have this experience with my best friend. You pay the total for the 22 course omakase when you make your reservation, and they ask if you are celebrating anything. We did not have a particular occasion but we put down that we were celebrating 25 years of friendship. Most of the time when you make comments in a reservation, restaurants never really mention it or notice, but multiple times in the night the wait staff knew we were celebrating friendship! It was so nice and made the evening more special. You really feel taken care of here. When you check in the day of, you are greeted with a free welcome drink in their cute lounge area. We decided to do the sake pairing and Tim presented all of them to us and he was the sweetest. My only complaint was that it was 4 full size drinks, and along with the welcome drink I was pretty drunk by the end of the night! I would recommend smaller servings for the pairing experience. At some points of the night I wished the chefs would speak more about the dishes, or the story behind it, but we also enjoyed chatting with people around us. I was also surprised to not have a wagyu bite. Not sure if that is on purpose or if it was because of an ever-changing menu. At the end of the meal we were given customized menus of everything we ate. I know the menu can change with each seating, so that will be a cool souvenir to keep.

Came again for their 5pm Valentine's Day service and yet again, the team proves why they're more than worthy of the Michelin star they've earned. Every bite was well crafted and delicious - left deliriously happy and looking forward to our next special event/reason to visit. Again, no pics because I wanted to be fully present for every moment but suffice to say it's all picture perfect.

The Michelin star as well as the 5 star Yelp ratings are well deserved. This is Omakase done right. The sushi here is of the highest caliber. Many of the fish they use are dry aged to give them a deeper, more savory flavor. The Nigiri pieces were simple with only a touch or two of other ingredients to lightly enhance the flavor. Too many other places overpower the fish with a kaleidoscope of flavors that the essence of the fish is lost. Here, the fish is the star. Loved the creativity and the attention to detail. Nothing left to chance. Service was also amazing. Friendly, professional and on point with their drink recommendations.

Craft Omakase deserved their Michelin star. Every single item was delicious and the service was amazing and friendly. Chef Christian did a great job with the fish. High recommend. Really enjoyed the caviar on otoro. The mackerel was flavorful and the traditional Japanese egg dish was warm and satisfying. Complimentary Paolo cocktail was amazing. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful dinner.

You can really taste the love that went into all this food. This is a food truck right across from HEB mueller in that swimming pool parking lot. She's only open on the weekends and her food can be ordered on DoorDash but she has more menu items in person than on DoorDash. I online ordered and picked up 3 different orders. 2 of them were not ready and she had me wait in my car and she brought them out to me so I didn't melt in the heat. Now the important stuff the menu... Ok who knew you could fry ribs?!?! They were on point. 4 to an order. Ribs were still moist, the batter had a crunch, and the meat fell off the bone. The dirty rice was the best dirty rice I've ever eaten. It was loaded up with seafood The smothered pork chops were 2 to an order and 2 sides served on a bed of white rice. Also very moist and great flavor, the Mac n cheese was not runny which I personally hate when it's just a runny mess, the fried cabbage also had a great flavor and it was still crunchy. The jerk chicken had great flavor but it was ordered as mild (not by me) and it definitely needed the heat/spice,the jumbalaya side was also tasty We also got the hot Cheetos boudin balls (I forgot to take a picture) they were huge and not spicy at first bite the heat sneaks up on you. The strawberry crunch cake was a big slice and reminded me of strawberry cake doughnut but that banana pudding was also probably the best banana pudding I've ever eaten. I felt all the portions were huge and prices were fair. This definitely not a food truck to sleep on. I've been told she makes great oxtails but they sell out fast.

Our server was very attentive throughout the meal, took time to explain how different dishes were prepared, gave helpful recommendations, and paced everything out really well for the table. The portions here are massive compared to a lot of upscale spots, so it actually felt like a solid value for the quality and amount of food. We shared a few pastas, steak, sides, cocktails, and desserts and left completely stuffed. The Hot & Crispy Country Italian Bread was nice and garlicky. The Coal Roasted Sweet Potatoes were buttery and rich with mascarpone, the Wood Grilled Broccolini had a nice little kick to it. The steak, a 20 oz center cut ribeye was incredibly tender, flavorful, and came pre sliced which made it easy to share. My favorite dish of the night was easily the Tagliolini with Fresh Blue Crab. Rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. We also had the Spaghettini alle Vongole with clams, which was lighter but still really good. For drinks, I had the Heat of Passion cocktail with mezcal and loved it, and we also tried one of their seasonal strawberry cocktails that was refreshing and balanced with herbs. Dessert was a strong finish. The Hot Apple Crostata with salted caramel gelato was incredible. It had a buttery crust, not overly sweet, that went perfect with the gelato. The chocolate cake was good but a little too rich for me personally.

The oysters were nice and had a small kick with the pepper. The calamari was a bit underwhelming, I've had better else where. I ordered the potato crusted sea bass and a side of brussel sprouts. The dish was buttery and well cooked. The sprouts had a nice flavor and cook to them as well. I would definitely reorder that. The table has shared some Mac and cheese which I enjoyed and tasted the red snapper entree which had a more mild, tomato based flavor that wasn't bad but wasn't life changing. Overall, a lot of the dishes sound appetizing and for the most part were. At this price point I'd want all dishes to be equally as good and that's where one star was taken.
