this might be the best breakfast in Saint Augustine. This restaurant is spacious, clean and delicious. There was no wait to sit us for breakfast. The crabcake Benedict blew me away. The Gouda grits sign me up. i'm not wearing any socks, but if I was, they would've been knocked right off my feet. We have been living here for the past 8 years and recently we saw that there was a new restaurant in town, so we decided to try it. It ended in a disaster, I got the mussels and it tasted like they dumped a bottle of wine into it and the cocktails were like a juice box. The food was ok. A bit hit and miss. The onion rings would have been great, real onions sliced thin and breaded, but they were fried in oil where you could taste that fish had been fried in the same oil. My Chicken tacos were good. They even made them with grilled chicken instead of fried chicken when I asked. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We had a large group of 10 and unfortunately one of our entrées did not come out with the others. It was a long delay until it came to the table, but the restaurant made it right by comping that entree. The ambience was great and what you would expect from a beach restaurant. I've been to this location twice and do I have to say the service here is phenomenal, I am a chef at Panda Express and a few things I can say is the hospitality and the food are impeccable. Fran was my server my first visit and he was a joy to talk to and a great employee was on top of everything and gave a great conversation. And man the boss man Mike is a god a customer service, this time I ordered to go and there was a slight mess up on one item but mike had my back. Not only did he fix it he made my visit with his great attitude and high standard highly recommended this place to anyone in saint augustine area. Definitely coming again. read more

Do not under any circumstances eat at this restaurant. They served oysters with a LIVING CRAB parasite crawling in the shell (see video). The server and surrounding patrons were shocked, while the manager offered no apology. Unacceptable. read more

I ate at Crabby's this week and while the location, atmosphere and staff were just fine I was totally outraged with how expensive the meal cost. My friend and I both ordered grouper, two sides and one side order of garlic bread (water for both). The portions were extremely small and the taste was just average. The total cost of the bill was $72 pre-tip. I eat out in St Aug every single day and have never paid so much for such small portions. I will never be back!! read more

On Wed night, July17, at 7pm, my husband and I approached the hostess at the front stand in Crabby's; she seemed scatter-brained and distracted. She said it would be a 30-40 min wait, but we glanced at several empty tables. We said we'd wait, but after a long pause, I asked her if she needed our contact info for the wait list? She then took our ph #. We walked to the bar for a drink to wait for a table. We found a few empty bar stools and waited for one of two bartenders to take our drink order, and we waited and waited and waited. We watched chaos, inefficiency and customers being ignored. Both bartenders repeatedly went out to the dining room for things and back, they also spent time fussing with the POS system. During this time, not a single drink was made. After waiting 16 mins without any acknowledgement, we witnessed two separate parties grumble their frustration of waiting 30 mins without being waited on, then got up to leave. We followed behind them leaving Crabby's, telling a few incoming customers not to bother eating here, slow service. The bartenders never noticed 3 different parties leaving. So, it seems Crabby's is severely under staffed and untrained staff. read more

The food was excellent. I ordered the oysters three way. Highly recommend. My favorite of the three was the New Orleans oysters but your tastes might vary so the three way is a good choice. The food came out after about ten minutes. Pretty fast. The beer was good and cold. The waitress was very nice and she was very nice. The seating was comfortable. Had dinner with family here. Our server Nykki was simply wonderful. She was the best part of the experience. Our clam chowder came out room temp with no real flavor. I sent mine back immediately and didn't ask for a replacement. For my meal, I got the fried shrimp, cheese grits and creamed corn. The shrimp were great, cheese grits weren't very good and cold as well. Cream corn was good but again, cold. Unsure if I would dine here again. read more
