I remember only going to this store once and having a horrible experience. This blonde lady with glasses (I don't know if she still works there) who helps assist customers by checking them in through a tablet or their little kiosk near the front entrance. She was very rude, I asked her a couple questions and when she couldn't answer it I simply asked if I could see a employee instead she rolled her eyes and acted like she didn't want to deal with me. She seemed really lazy and unprofessional but that dosent suprise me because a lot of employees in this store are extremely unhelpful and lazy. I guess that just shows you that Cox Cummincations doesn't really care about their customers or the service they provide. AVOID this location at all costs and go somewhere else. read more

The customer service at this location was top tier. Any issues that have ever come up, Cox has always been great at taking care of them. The facility was very clean, and even though I went during a busy time of day, we were helped quickly. Overall, my experience was great, and we left feeling relieved to finally have Wi-Fi. read more

The ginger lady that was working today around 2:40 PM was so rude. I just came in to return my packages since I am done with the Wi-Fi router and everything that I got from here when I moved into my apartment. Before I could even walk halfway up to the desk she goes " were you not able to sign in on the thing?" in a very rude and demeaning tone. I've never had to return something like this, so no, I didn't realize I needed to sign in on something. So I responded and told her that I just needed to return my stuff and she goes "yeah well there's at least one other person waiting for that too." there's absolutely no need for somebody to be this rude over something so simple. The absolute worst company in the entire world. Had fiber internet installed in our house about 9 months ago. Have had to have them come out and "fix" it 12 times now. I wish I was exaggerating. Everytime a new "tech" comes out they say they have fixed and within a week or two it's not working again. You'd think because we've had so many issues they would feel for us and get someone out right away. Nope not cox you have to wait 3 days for the 13th tech to come out. Maybe he will solve the problem the other 12 couldn't. They simply don't care what so ever that we've had sooooo many issues. Went to buy a POD for my wifi. They tried to get me to switch my cell phone and get fiber. They fiddled with my account and raised my bill and couldn't fix it. It took me 3 phone calls, 3 hours total to try to resolve it .Jason was completely incompetent and had to ask others for help in everything he did. I am moving soon and ordered the transfer for my service. I ordered a self install kit and went to the Cox store to pick it up. Upon arrival I was greeted by Daniel and explained that I was there to pick up my self-install kit. He brought me to his kiosk and looked up my account and my order. He said that I needed a new modem. I asked if I would be charged and after a while, he said no. He wanted to activate the new modem and I declined because I am still using my current modem. He gave me the phone number that I could call when I am ready to activate my new modem. When I returned home, I opened the kit and discovered that the new modem is for panoramic wifi service. I looked up my account plan and I don't have a panoramic wifi plan but after chatting with the online agent, I was informed that I received an upgraded modem but that it is compatible with my current plan. After inquiring, I was told that I will not be charged any additional fees/costs for the upgraded modem, nor will I have to upgrade my plan in order for it to work with the new modem. In addition, there will not be any issues with upload/download speeds. Once I activate the new modem at my new house, I will return the old modem. I will write an update if any of the above information is inaccurate. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We are moving apartments and signed a transfer agreement that they would not turn our services off until 10/11. Not only did they turn off our services early, but they breached our contract and let an UNAUTHORIZED user (most likely the "supervisor" they will not name) cancel it early. We got no warning and were never contacted letting us know they will not honor our agreement. Upon investigating how something like this could happen, Richard made sure to let us know COX does not care about their costumers. Thank you Richard for your horrible costumer service. Approximately 1 week ago, I went into this location and spoke with a representative to set up a transfer of services. I made sure to show emphasis on retaining services at my current location until 10/11/24 because I work from home. I ensured to double check that upon transferring and agreeing to extend our services that the terms and dates were accommodating to our agreement, and they were. However, a supervisor without my consent or without verifying the account credentials (with me. the sole account holder) decided to terminate our services that were already paid/agreed upon. (10/08/24) My first action was to call the support line where I was not given any information and then transferred to the sales department and expected to wait in line (At the time wait times exceeded 1 hour). Frustrated with this I returned back to the local store and explained the situation there. Where I was told I would have to install all new equipment to restore services at my current location. (We move in 3 days) After hearing this I wanted to know why my account was canceled without my consent or without providing my account credentials. (Their standard company security procedures) After asking that question, not only was I given no insight to why or how this could happen but instead I was asked to leave the store. I spent my entire adult life being a customer of this company. (12+ Years) Absolutely unacceptable that someone who isn't me could cancel MY services THAT I PAID FOR. I would never recommend this store, company or services. I will be in contact with the BBB as well as Cox Corporate offices. read more

This store either needs to remove their phone number from the internet, or hire someone to answer it. I made over 20 calls across several weeks and left multiple voicemails. I never heard back. I had time sensitive questions that I needed answered, and it's obviously much more convenient to do so over the phone than to drive to a store to be sent away (which I would have, had I gone in). By the time I finally got a personal representative on the phone for my specific issue through an entirely different route, my problem was clarified and handled within 30 minutes. I have no complaints about the location. Every time I walk in there, I'm in and out in a timely manner. I will say though, Cox Internet Wi-Fi is probably the worst Wi-Fi I've ever paid for. Constant outages every single week it seems like for multiple hours(I work from home btw). Not sure why I'm paying upwards of $80/month for a service that I don't have access to at all times. Oh, that's right, it's because they are the only Internet provider in my area, so I am stuck with them. Anytime you call with a question or an issue you get sent to an automated system that basically just tells you to unplug and plug-in your router. We either need better service coverage or a whole new company to start up and be able to provide Internet in the areas where Cox cannot deliver. I'm in Arizona by the way. read more

No attention to detail, just a ton of careless BS in their customer service. Because COX is the major Internet provider in this area, we have no choice; otherwise, we would have switched to someone else. My husband had a work order for COX to set up Wi-Fi in a new location; the technician never showed up. Talked to four different reps, all of whom assured me that the COX dispatch would either send someone to make up for the technician's missed appointment (whose excuse was they didn't see anyone, even though my husband and I were both present, and never received so much as a phone call, a text, or an email to confirm the address---not even a knock on the door), or dispatch would contact me. Dispatch department received my phone number, and I was told that they would contact me in approximately 30 mins (call was made at 11:56 AM; one hour later, I still haven't received a call, a text, or an email). If that wasn't bad enough, the icing on the cake was a rep telling my husband he didn't have to turn in the Wi-Fi gateway to their store, only to be informed later on that he would be given a hefty fine if he didn't. My husband works remotely and needs the Internet set-up. COX basically s*** on my husband after taking his money, considering that they also---for reasons unknown---decided to assign him three different account numbers to three different locations, two of which he no longer resided at. I've lives on both sides of the USA and this has got to be the absolute worst internet provider I have encountered. 1) their prices are high for just internet 2) since we started internet with them in December/January our internet has gone out constantly randomly. 3) the speed of the internet is so slow that my phone literally asked to just use cellular service instead. 4) THEY LIE! This past week has been terrible. Every hour or 2 the internet will go out. So total per day out internet goes out 8 ish times. We called customer service and they said they don't see why something is wrong then told me that they may have to charge us it a technician comes out. Since we run online businesses, we figured we can't do nothing. So we had a tech come out to our house to check it out. When he arrived he asked a few questions did some tests outside our house. Couldn't find anything. He called the HQ and they tell him "oh that area is in an outage right now" apparently this was the 3rd call he went on that it was an outage. He explained his frustration with the company because they aren't being transparent with their customers and trying to put blame on us for our internet being slow or non existent. I'm really hoping to find a better internet provider in my area but for anyone new to Scottsdale, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere. The worst customer service I have ever had. If you want to waste money and time, you can use them. We have been with them for years. Every time if there are internet issues, they either push us to switch plans, and that always come with some unexpected fee. Or sent the technician to check, and if their technician came in to fix their problems. They would freaking charge you. Seriously? I am paying you every month. Now you charge me for fixing your own problems? (their wires or hub in our neighborhood was damaged). Every single time, they charge you. This time we decided to cancel, and they push out 1 gig internet and offer some discounts, of course. Again, a lot of unexpected fee. We have made up our minds never go back to Cox. NEVER!!!NEVER!!! They told us this is not a contract plan, we can cancel anytime. That is why we give it a last try. Now they are saying we will be charged for a cancellation fee, because it's a contract plan.
