I just had to try Covington Teriyaki's Bento box. Because I really didn't know what I wanted to eat, and the Bento box provided a bit of everything. I am glad that I ordered this, and boy that was actually a lot of food! I ordered take out for lunch and wow they were really fast with getting this done. It only took them about 10 minutes to have my food ready for pick up! I was not disappointed with them at all! I really appreciate quickly they got this done and so nice when picking it up, too. If I had more time, I would've dined in. It is a pretty specious, warm and cozy!

Spicy chicken teriyaki meal. Large portions.

Located in a small strip mall plaza near City Hall, this place is really good for many different teriyaki dishes. I ended up getting the spicy chicken. The portions were massive and were realistically good enough for two meals. The chicken was very well cooked and had a perfect balance of sweet teriyaki and some spicy to go along with it. The side salad was nice and refreshing and complimented the savoriness of the meal very well. For the price point, you get a very good value for your lunch meal. Highly recommend to come here if you are in the area.

Not the Kung pao chicken I was expecting

Was not expecting kung Pao chicken to look like that and be sweet. Have baby corn and broccoli. Does not taste like the original Kung Pao chicken. Change the name and don't call this Kung pao chicken. It is misleading :(

Everything was just okay and I wouldn't come here again or get the same thing next time. I've just had way better tasting food but the service was attentive and fantastic.

The Bento box is a must when you eat here. It comes with tempura food, California rolls, salad, teriyaki and rice, and gyoza. All of the food was pretty good, except the California roll. The crabmeat was pretty dry and I couldn't finish it. I loved the teriyaki chicken, as the sauce was pretty flavorful and sweet. The dressing for the salad was pretty good as well. Service was great. Very nice service and I could see that they get regular customers. The food was made in a timely manner. The ambiance of the restaurant was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just a good place to enjoy a meal.

    Chicken teriyaki

I've been here many times and been enjoying the chicken teriyaki. Honestly haven't tried the other dishes because this is my favorite! Large portions and cooked perfectly every time! Slight char and juicy, not too salty. Highly recommend!

Clean and simple setup teriyaki place. Portion is good but tend to be a bit salty for me. Great service.

Food's still great. Service is wonderful. Prices went up again but such is life. Will still be giving them my business when I can.

The spicy teriyaki was the best I've had, wonderful service, clean, overall such a great experience!

However, the tables are packed closely together. On one of the booth seats, I believe it's attached both ways; my side of the booth seat and then the neighbor's side of the booth seat. So... the person at the table behind me kept shifting around in their seat, causing the side of mine to lift up and down a little with each motion. This was incredibly annoying, though it was only these booth seats that had this annoying function. The food: The food was good, but came in pretty small portions. Just one waffle with fruit, eggs, and two strips of bacon were about $20. The food was good, but it did seem a little spendy to me. The service: My fruit waffle barely had any whipped cream - I didn't say anything about it - but the waitress noticed and immediately got more whipped cream for it. So shoutout to the awesome waitress, Monse! She was so kind, cheerful, and absolutely awesome! Also, my cousin ordered waffles without butter, but she got a waffle with a big slab of butter on it. So communication between staff for that wasn't ideal. Final thoughts: Food was good, but the portions were too small to justify the price. Service was amazing!

Some of the patrons were friendly, others definitely weren't and made it crystal clear that they do not embrace diversity or the BIPOC community. Right off the bat, the hostess stood out. She was genuinely engaging and welcoming (wish I had caught her name), and we were seated immediately in the bar area. It was a little past the lunch rush--around 2 PM--so it was nice and relaxed, which made for a comfortable, easygoing vibe. We went back and forth trying to beat the lunch cutoff or just lean into the happy hour menu, and ended up doing a bit of both. We split a Caesar salad, which was fresh and really well done. For the main, we had the bacon avocado chicken wrap with tots--great flavor, definitely a solid choice. The only knock was the tots were a little on the cooling-off side and didn't quite hit the mark... although I still managed to finish them. To drink, I went with a Sky Kraken Pale Ale, which was excellent (and yes, there's photo evidence). Hey I'm retired now, I can drink at lunch! Overall, really enjoyable stop--good food, great service, and a laid-back atmosphere. We'd absolutely come back again. Solid 4 stars.

You may be seated with another party (8 max per table from what I can see). They like to fill the table. Reservations make it easier for them to plan I bet. The food was top notch!!! I had steak and chicken. My bestie had the salmon. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Flavors are wonderful! Here's some things you may want to know: Chairs aren't the most comfortable (probably can hold up to 350 lbs). Air blows on your food if sitting on one of the ends (from the vent hood).
