Initially upon looking at menu I thought I was going to have to eat meat but there were like 2 vegetarian options. But this place is worthy of your attention and your appetite. I've had the spicy chicken teriyaki here, and it's brilliant! I'm giving this restaurant four stars, not because of of the food, but because of the service. I ordered take out and wanted to add some extra teriyaki sauce to my order, which I didn't think would be an issue as there was teriyaki sauce on each table. Found this place thanks to fellow Yelpers! Been coming here every other day for the past two weeks since I've been too lazy to cook and experiencing life obligations. Although it may be a bit on the pricier side, the portion sizes are generous and the food is good! They are currently take-out only and I've found order wait times can range from 10 minutes to about 35 minutes or more... make sure to call-in ahead of time. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I've found the bento box to be a decent value for the variety and being able to fill you up. The tempura has a good crunch (not soggy even after the drive home), chicken teriyaki is tender, juicy, and flavorful, but the sushi roll isn't the greatest... Their fish and chips are okay, worth trying if you like the crunchy outside, but the fish itself is not much to write home about; it does fill you up though. They were out of beef so we got chicken. Very dry and very little sauce. All the reviews were good in regards to the beef. Most likely will not eat here again. Shrimp tempura was good, but did not come with any sauce. I have never had to ask for a sauce anywhere. read more

With the plethora of teriyaki joints in the northwest, it can be hard to single out those places that knock their food out of the park. Covington Teriyaki, has achieved [quite practically] that. Food quality: 5 stars. I am super picky when it comes to the quality of chicken used for traditional chicken teriyaki and chicken breast teriyaki. I am turned off by the decreasing chicken quality found in most restaurants these days. I hate woody chicken breast ( Google this term if you have no idea what I am talking about). I will absolutely throw out an entire meal if I find my chicken is crunchy, yuck. But never fear- Covington Teriyaki does not [yet] have this! Plus, the way they season the chicken is divine. Price: 4 star. I feel they are above average for meal prices. Nothing stands out good/bad. Timeliness: 4 stars. They can sometimes under estimate how long it takes for orders to be ready. Very good for lunch. Spicy chicken & gyoza was very good (not amazing, not excellent, but very good). It ran a little dry for my taste, seems like more rice than I'd see at other places, but less sauce. I think the chicken quality is higher than the other 2 teriyaki joints in the area, so next time I'll probably just order some extra sauce and it'll be perfecto. Definitely will return! Came here for lunch with a buddy! Ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combination dish. Chicken was tender and juicy and the gyozas were crisp! I was hoping for more than just two gyozas, but the meal as a whole was still pretty sizable. The dish also came with a side of white rice and a small salad with light dressing. They were a little light on the dressing, so be sure to ask for more if you're like me and you like your salads doused in dressing! Overall, food was great. Portion sizes were good. Prices were fair. Service was amazing. The lady taking our order was so sweet and patient. Definitely coming back here to try the rest of their menu when I get the chance. read more

I've been going to this place since the grand opening. It is always the best Teriyaki in Covington area. The last 3 visits had been not so good experience unfortunately. Dine in one time and I got a piece of hair on the food. I didn't complain and just show the woman who works there. She said sorry and didn't even offer a new one. The last two times are both to to. The Teriyaki chicken has very little sauce. The yakisoba is very small portion. Seems like it is time for me to try some other places. read more

Been going here for 4-5 years..? Hands down the best Lunch Special within a 20 mile radius (great cuts of chicken, extra sauce on the side just in case you don't like it extra saucy! Genius.) Also. I asked what he said because he spoke very briskly and when asked, he just snapped at me! For no reason, I was just treated so unprofessionally and rudely.
