First time trying this place and I wasn't disappointed. Located in Covington very close to the Fred Meyer store. Ample parking. I placed my order online and it was promptly confirmed. I showed up within five minutes of the time I was told it would be ready and there it was. I ordered the house special yakisoba. It was delicious. Chicken, beef and shrimp with yakisoba noodles and a scoop of rice. It was a nice size portion, but not so much that I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Highly recommend this place for my friends who enjoy teriyaki or Yaki soba read more

Teriyaki Wok - How special yakisoba - Japanese Near Me - Covington, Washington

Owners or cooks have seems to change and the rice seems to have a powder taste to it now and the teriyaki sauce seems more watered down and not as thick, + the Yakisoba noodles them self's stick together and become a single clump of noodles. Will be looking for a new teriyaki place been coming here for 10+ years and will not come back unless they go back to their original recipe or style. read more

Teriyaki Wok - Ordered the House Yakisoba and tbe Chicken Teriyaki - Japanese Near Me - Covington, Washington

This is our go-to teriyaki in the Covington area. We love their General Tso chicken. It's sweet and spicy without being too hot. The chicken has always been good quality. Their gyoza are top-notch as well. Their chicken Katsu is another one of our favorites. Good cuts of meat, crispy and delicious crust. Yummy dipping sauce. The fried rice is typically a bit on the dry and under seasoned side, but definitely better than many others. We ordered from here consistently and have never had a bad experience. read more

Been here 2 times. The spicky chicken Teriyaki is ok. Beef is mehhhh. Salad is fresh. First time good came out fast. The second time, they forgot since they were busy talking to a guy about some renovation or fix something in the kitchen. read more

Teriyaki chicken is one of the worst I have ever eaten. It is so dry and it's overcooked. It is the one of the easiest dishes to make. The lady was very nice. read more

Best Teriyaki in the area. The chicken is fresh and plentiful. The teriyaki sauce is made fresh and tastes just right. The spicy sauce is pretty hot so if you are super sensitive, avoid. They have some Asian favorites as well, like pot stickers and orange chicken. Dig in! This is primarily a take out restaurant. read more

Delicious food and sweet couple working in the front! They have the best chicken katsu we've had in a while. Not greasy and great meat to breading ratio. Highly recommend! read more

I would consider myself a connoisseur of 3 things, teriyaki is one of them. In the Kent/Covington area, this is the best teriyaki!! I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. They are consistent in their product and service. read more

Teriyaki Wok - Spicy Chicken Teriyaki on the left and teriyaki chicken on the right - Japanese Near Me - Covington, Washington

Best local teriyaki restaurant! Really like the food here. The spicy beef teriyaki is really good.

Good food , customer service and the orders come out quick. The portion size is also decent amount .

I've been craving sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and this was a good spot to enjoy a lunch with my family. I hadn't been here for quite a while. The owner greeted us right away and help us get a couple of tables together. She was very friendly and attentive, brought us the menus and water as we waited for a couple of people to show. She helped other customers that arrived and a few ordered out. We placed our order and got our food at a great time. Everything was as we ordered, it was delicious. I was very happy and stuffed, had plenty to take home. We had a good time, we enjoyed our lunch and service. read more

Let me start out I prefer teriyaki wok over Covington Teriyaki. For many reasons that I listed in the Covington teriyaki review. Rice quality is definitely better and you can taste it. You're not overwhelmed by the rice either. I think is about the right amount and I don't feel I'm swimming in the sea of rice. Sauce portions on their teriyaki is definitely comparable. It's a nice proportion and it's defiantly that I do not have to by 3 dollars of side sauce from them. Maybe every once in a while I might have to get one but still it's better that 3 dollars wasted on tiny containers that could of got be a 8oz or more bottle of something better. I like that their salad is packed separately and that it's never came soggy. Wait time is really fast which is a-little concerning but definitely worth going across the street for. read more

Food and staff are great. We get the normal things chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu both fresh and delicious. I think really the only downfall of the place is the location. Which is definitely not the business owners fault. At any time on the outside you will be approached by a transient person asking for money or something. And sometimes they can be quite persistent. Again the staff is wonderful they're always very polite and food is prepared very quickly. I would recommend it. read more

The people is very pleasant and find the place up to par with OSHA. I have ordered food and found no problem with all my orders. Thank you

Food was tasty and service was quick. A favorite of ours is the house fried rice that is filled with so much meat that is a meal all on its own. Our go to when headed out of town . read more

I just came here for the first time. I asked for the lunch Mongolian beef. I went to pick it up and was charged $17. I don't think the container weighs more than 10 ounces. I opened it up and it was about $.50 worth of food, I don't know how they're going to stay in business. I definitely won't be back. I mean after all, it's rice and low quality meat stirfried. I think it has to be the worst bargain in food for the money I've had in a very long time. read more

Great service during a busy time of day. In and out in about 10-15 minutes with 5 plates of which were perfect size and a great price. The food also tasted great and fresh. The ambiance was pretty typical for a Teriyaki place, but unlike many others, it's more open. read more

I was craving udon soup so badly. Not many places serve it but I found it on the menu here so I thought I'd give it a try. It was ready in 10 minutes and when I came in to grab it, the cashier was incredibly nice and friendly. I am so happy I tried this place because I want to go back and try the rest of their dishes! My soup was amazing and very flavorful. Also it was a pretty big serving size so I am happy with that. Overall, great service and great food. Definitely will be recommending it to other people and will be coming back soon. read more

Amazing food, friendly staff, and a nice family owned/neighborhood store vibes. will definitely be a regular to this location !

I go here once a week, this is my preferred teriyaki place in Covington. I normally get teriyaki chicken/beef or chicken fried rice. Love it

Might be one of the few teriyaki places where we had really great service. Greeted upon walking in, she brought us complimentary waters, came to check on us after we got our food to make sure we had everything, ect. I just got a simple side of rice and salad, and my husband got the chicken fried rice. Food came quickly and everything tasted great! read more

Teriyaki Wok - Chicken fried rice with a side of simple rice and salad - Japanese Near Me - Covington, Washington

Mediocre. The food was pretty good, but take it Togo because the place is a little dirty...they just opened and the tables are tacky and rice/sauce on three of them, so I'm guessing they weren't cleaned from the night before. Ugh. Same as floors and rugs, just dirty pretty much all over. Nono... It does make me wonder about the kitchen... And I won't even mention the bathroom....icky bad. On a positive note, the prices are reasonable and my Kung pao chicken and teriyaki was tasty. I asked them to make it with white chicken breast, and they did the teriyaki but not the king pao. The lady running the register was sweet and knowledgeable. I ask a million questions, I'm so annoying sometimes. Lol. They have a large stir fry menu, king pao, broccoli beef, sweet n sour chicken, almond chicken etc... Which is nice so it's not just the teriyaki options. Also chow mein, gyozas and spring rolls. Good menu choices. Easy access from highway 18. Always a big deal to me, I'm not a happy girl driving miles in town just for a quick lunch bite. read more

Teriyaki Wok - Front counter - Japanese Near Me - Covington, Washington

WARNING, found 6 small BUGS in our orders‼there were also small larva and larger beetle looking insects, I just about threw up. Super nasty. I have been coming to this location for about a year about two times per week. Usually I spend about $30 for my family. $60 spent in one week multiples by 52 weeks a year equals $3120. I knew it looked dirty back there. Never again. Absolutely disgusting Eat at your own risk WOW read more

We have eaten there for years, and the food has gone bad over the last few months, and we have even spoke with them about it and when we pick it up to bring it home and find out how bad it is! We won't be back again! P.S. I always gave at least a $10.00 tip as well! read more

Run of the mill teriyaki shop. We tried ordering other things from menu but did not like them. Always stick with the teriyaki chicken.

I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki, but chicken and rice were dried. I am so disappointed.

We just love this place! Small and friendly, fast service and very convenient from our house. My wife's grandfather owned a Japanese restaurant in Walla Walla. She says the food is prepared and tastes like her Mom use to cook. The potions of teriyaki chicken breast are huge. Opinions are often based on what we become accustomed to having and differing tastes. This may not be suitable to your personal taste but give it a try. read more

This review is for chicken teriyaki because it's what we always get. Their teriyaki sauce is delicious!!? It's the perfect combination of salty and sweet, with a hint more of the sweetness which is what we like in a teriyaki sauce!!! read more

Wasn't impressed by the teriyaki (to sweet for me). Prices were ok and the people who worked here were nice but I won't be back...

I don't know what to say. I couldn't order because people there can't understand nor speak English well enough to communicate. I asked what comes with chicken and chicken katsu multiple times, loud and clear, and to couple staffs. I just want my words to get across. I'm a very patient person but trying to communicate over the phone just won't work. Please, try to listen and understand what the other person is saying other than saying" yes we have" "yes anything else" "yes whats your name" like what the hell. All they were saying was to just get the order and make money. Disappointed. read more

First time here. Wanted teriyaki and went across the street to covington teriyaki because of the higher reviews. When i went to order he asked if i had called it in. I so no, he looked at me like i was crazy and said if you did not call it in it will be 40 minutes! For one plate of chicken. He acted like i was privileged just to best eating there. I am a chef and dont take to this crap. I left and went across the street to teriyaki wok. Yhe woman looked happy to see me, took my order and five minutes later i had a huge plate of excellent teriyaki. Nice job! I know where i will go from now on. read more

Do not eat here unless you trying to build up your immune system or test your Hep C vaccination. Probably the dirtiest place I've ever eaten at. The staff was friendly but charged me the dinner price for my lunch, at 2pm. I had to correct her. Of the 8 options on the soda machine, 4 are out order, and 1 is water. The water is nasty. I ordered the teriyaki beef. Like the other comments, it's salty. The beef came out luke warm, my rice is cold. Surprisingly, there is a steady flow of customers. I am starving, and only have 25 mins for lunch, so I'm braving it. I fully expect to stay close to restroom for the balance of the day. read more

Very nice people and decent portion but that's where the good stops. General Tso and Sweet and Sour chicken were very lackluster. Didn't taste at all like they should and the meat quality was very poor. Wish I could find a decent place around here but my search continues. read more

Terrible terrible. Teriyaki is already overpriced as is and food is only mediocre. Every time I order food from this place via UberEATS they always forget 2-3 things. Not sure if it's because I'll order two of the same thing and they mistake it for just one order? When I eat here in person my orders are sometimes wrong too... Either way, I'm not happy to spend $50+ and receive barely enough food for one person. read more
