I had steak and chicken. My bestie had the salmon. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Flavors are wonderful! Here's some things you may want to know: Chairs aren't the most comfortable (probably can hold up to 350 lbs). Air blows on your food if sitting on one of the ends (from the vent hood). This cooled down my food faster than I would have liked. Good thing I'm a fast eater! The entertainment was excellent! Tip well ok? :) It's a lot of food! You will be full. If ordering salmon, the finish it off with a teriyaki sauce. If you know ahead of time you can skip that if you'd like. I came with a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating!!! They cooked my steak and chicken before any shellfish went on the grill. I appreciated that very much. All in all, this was a great experience and family friendly for all ages.

Seasoning and sauce were OK and the beef was good.

If you like dry overpriced chicken and rice. Then Covington teriyaki is the place for you. If you have no tastebuds. Then Covington teriyaki is the place for you. I wish this dry crappie place would move somewhere not near me. I don't even want someone to get teriyaki on accident from here. I've already learned years ago it was plain bad. Now years later a friend buys me teriyaki and brings it over. Cool i love teriyaki. As soon as i opened the box. I said, did you get this crap from Covington teriyaki. He said how did you know. Oh, i know crapy dry plain food when i see it. And then i told him keep it. Give it to your dogs. He didn't understand until he eat it. Again all they have to do. Is put a f*** ing sauce in the box or bag. But know they expect you to like dry chicken and dry rice. Man i hate this place with a passion. If you have certain diet restrictions and/or do not eat meat or dairy do not go to this place. I hate leaving bad reviews but when you cannot accommodate your customers in anyway shape or form that's not OK. They have tofu on the menu. I confirm that it's just cut up and not added to anything. I asked if he could just fry it and add it to rice and he said no that I had to have it either in one of two meals. And then again asked is the tofu free and not already added to something and he said yes. He was adamant that he could not just give me the tofu with rice. No! Why he couldn't, just couldn't. Guess what...... Teriyaki Wik right across the street in the Fred Meyer parking lot did accommodate me and it was delicious! I will make sure I tell all of my vegan/vegetarian friends never to come to your establishment. read more

Best spicy chicken teriyaki in the US. Hands down. I've been to a lot of teriyaki places all around the country and this place beats them all. The chicken really is the highlight, as it should be. It's fresh, tender, juicy and the spicy sauce that covers it is amazing. Teriyaki first in university is a very close second. Anybody that doesn't like this place is crazy. Please order the spicy chicken with extra salad dressing sauce and extra spicy sauce and you'll be in for the taste of the heavens. Alex is the man, he has my order down to the t and is always so friendly. The place is clean and the bathrooms are a real treat too, which many people don't know about. My family and I have been going here for about 10 years. The customer service is always amazing. I feel like they have watched my kids grow and they are always so friendly when we show up. It isn't just us either. Watch and you will see them remember and greet their many repeat customers. The serving sizes are a great value and their food is out of this world. She brought out utensils, napkins, and a salad dressing bottle to give as little or as much as we wanted. The food here was pretty good, especially for how affordable the prices are. They also offer a better good portion too. The fried rice upgrade is great and very flavorful! I did witness a young group of teenagers/young adults come in and the grandma might have had some trouble as some orders came as takeout, missing items, and her not giving the order to the right people. But she is a grandma so please give her patience and be loud enough to be heard as I think she has a bit of difficulty hearing.
