For dinner I got the GF buffalo cauliflower starter (has a vegan option) and it was so good. The spice level was perfect and it was made really well. I had cider on draft and it was really good, plus there was a gluten free beer option which was such a nice surprise. They also had a lot of local items on the menu. Service was a bit slow, but overall the experience was still really enjoyable. I really wish more places like this existed because it makes eating gluten free and vegan on a trip so much easier and way less stressful.

Just an adorable restaurant collocated with a bicycle shop on the main street of tony Woodstock…read more We came over in early November, barely two months after its opening. The owner and management were inside talking to customers at the entrance. The ambiance is chill, friendly and with good music. About a third of the tables were full, with a full bar against a wall in the middle of the room. Great beer selection that included some great local brews. We tried their crispy wraps which reminded me of the old days when Chimichangas were menu staples in a now gone chain.... Our server was nice and she told us her favorite dishes ands I took her recommendations and it was superb. A welcome addition to Woodstock. We used to stop at an iconic coffeehouse and restaurant on the town center but it's got so busy recently that the 30-minute wait isn't worth it. Especially when we're on our way to Killington or Okemo. We may have just found a fav place.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could…read more.. What's stopped me from rating this a 5? Well, the service was a LITTLE off. But I attribute this to the fact that the bartender was training somebody new (and we were sitting at the bar because there were no tables available). The fact that there were no tables available is entirely our fault, the fact that the bartender was busy training somebody new was only slightly off-putting. The ambiance, lakefront dining was incredible. But here again, only SLIGHTLY off-putting, was the fact that the sliding glass doors were not wide open on this beautiful August day. I think the breeze off the lake would've been better than the air conditioning. I'm stretching a little bit for the negatives... the positives were too numerous to mention all of them. Simply put, the food was amazing. Totally unexpected for a small town in Sunapee, New Hampshire. Our dishes, from the appetizers to the main courses were totally unexpected, in a very positive way. I wish I took more pictures. But we were busy enjoying our food. I will come back to this place in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

A definite upgrade to the Sunapee Harbor waterfront. The nice blue colors lend a great tone to this…read morerecreation. The Maître d' was certainly officious... not even a good day, good afternoon, or even a go to hell. Certainly and genuinely rude. Oftentimes the Maître d' is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and managing reservations at a restaurant, meaning they are the first impression on the customer. Not this one. In our time here, the only person who would need training on customer treatment. But that shouldn't ruin a good evening, and the rest of our time here was superb. The staff, one noted exception, was superb. Smiles, excellent service and great food. Our waitperson was Erin, just a breath of fresh air. I was pleasantly surprised seeing waitpersons assist each other picking up tables and cleaning before the next course. Awesome work. I had the Salmon Poke which was delicious. It is indeed raw but well condimented and delicious. My other half had the chicken kimchi bowl and this too was amazing. We washed it down with two Sauvignon Blancs as dessert was coming. The sorbet was house made and delicious. Overall superb. The harbor views are gorgeous. Food, ambiance, service.

I popped in here with friends after a long day of skiing to pick up some drinks and snacks. My…read morefriends got the campfire latte (which I heard tastes "just like a campfire" from the toasted marshmallows), a delicious Chai, and a mini waffle as well! It's a very small space but very popular! Aside from the chalk board drink menu, there is a TV in the corner that displays ways to customize your drinks by making them a "campfire" drink or a "nutty Vermonter" drink, etc. Ofc there is also a station to add milk, sugar, etc on your own too. The majority of our group was ordering drinks inside but some stayed outside but the cozy firepit to warm up which was just perfect! I returned the next day on a mission for a yummy pick me up before our drive home and ordered a Nutty Vermonter Matcha Latte. The "nutty vermonter" add on includes pistachio and maple syrup. I balked a bit that the price tag was over $10 (before tip) but in a happy accident, the barista got my drink wrong (gave me a Nutty Vermonter latte sans matcha), so after she remade mine, she asked if I wanted the other one too. It worked out that I got a creamy, delicious drink (exactly what I wanted) and our driver taking us back home got a sweet pistachio latte too. 10/10 from both him and me!

We had a beautifully scenic ride here. Once we arrived we found parking to be easy since it's summer and not the busy season of the area. Then once we walked up a flight of stairs we found the coffee shop and all the stores and other restaurants nearby too. Despite the name Upper Standard Coffee don't be fooled they looked as though they do a whole lot more than that. They had a case of some baked goods, waffle breakfast sandwiches and also advertised both ice cream and pizzas. Also besides coffee they had lotus energy drinks and I saw mentions of espresso martinis and other alcoholic beverages. Truly lots of options. The space inside is quite small so if it gets busy I assume the line would be outside quite quickly. They did have some chairs outside to enjoy the summer weather with your food or drink of choice. My wife and I both wanted to try one of their flavored coffee/latte drinks. Some of them being Campfire (s'mores), White Mountain (white mocha and lavender), Lavender Matcha. All of the options plus more sounded tempting. We did settle on White Mountain for my wife while I chose the French Toast. Both have tons of flavor and if this were local to us we would be here often! If you find yourself at Stratton Mountain Village and want coffee or a bite to eat go here!
