Took mom here for Mother's Day. She was very happy we went here. I did try to make a reservation in advance online but that apparently didn't work. Fortunately I called ahead to confirm since I realized I had no e-mail or text about it, and they were able to make a reservation anyway. The food was delicious. The pasta for my "Treviso Parm" was cooked perfectly al dente; it's amazing how many places can't get that right. The chicken cutlet was still moist and juicy, just the right amount of tomato sauce bring it all together. The sauce was also nice in that it wasn't too sweet. These days that's hard to find. Service was prompt, good, friendly. No complaints there. The ambiance is one of modern Italian. Interesting integrations of art panels with etched items like tomatoes or herbs gave it a fun atmosphere. Definitely one of the better spots in Rutland for more upscale dining. read more

This was an amazing experience! The ambiance is relaxing and wonderful staff. While I was there a gentlemen came in- probably a local because they called him by name. He was not there to eat just to sit at the bar. The owner (I believe ) offered him a coke and food. She was so kind to this man who appeared to have a disability. It just warmed my heart how kind she was. Also the food was amazing! Oysters and Mission figs were amazing! A delightful place to dine! read more

We eat at this find establishment this evening. Best Italian restaurant in Rutland Vermont. The waiter was wonderful. He was well educated and understood everything on the menu. I love seeing new locations and while I'd love to say every new spot that opens is amazing most leave me expecting to see them closed with in a year. 6:30pm reservation was made. Arrived on time and were seated quickly. We had seen multiple employees walk by, cleaning tables, etc. Not a SINGLE employee acknowledged us, offered water, anything. This was approximately 15 minutes of being seated. Meanwhile in another room, multiple tables had been approached, they weren't seemingly busy as there were multiple empty tables. Fast forward another 15 minutes of being ignored, we made the decision to leave, no one acknowledged us as we walked out the door either. Had heard rave reviews, but will not be back. read more

We were impressed. Bronzino was perfectly cooked, bolognaise was spot on. Arancini was innovative and enough for two. Stuffed calamari was also innovative. Wines were very nice. We weren't trying to budget and our meal was memorable (two appetizers, cocktails, wine and desserts) But you could have a very nice night out on a budget, as the menu is set up in courses so you can opt for more modestly priced dishes. Made a 7:00 reservation for a party of 5. We tried calling on the way to say we would be a few minutes late. The line was busy several times. We showed up at 7:15. We stood and waited at least 5 minutes at the hostess station. When the hostess approached us I apologized for being a few minutes late. She was extremely rude and said our table was no longer available and they closed at 8:00. Mind you, there were several empty tables. She then proceeded to turn away 2 more parties behind us. We will never come back again. This restaurant will be out of business in no time treating people like this. read more
