The vodka sauce is amazing! I recommend sitting in the front porch area. It has a romantic quaint vibe. The service was excellent.

Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. Bright, refreshing, unbelievably fresh, and balanced perfectly. They were the kind of oysters you slow down for because you don't want the bite to end. I ordered the duck ragu again because I couldn't stop thinking about it from my last visit -- and once again, absolute perfection. Rich, comforting, layered with flavor, and yes... I cleaned the plate spotless. Not a drop left behind. From the hospitality to the execution of every dish, everything about this restaurant screams class, quality, and a superb dining experience. The team makes you feel welcome, the food exceeds expectations, and you leave already planning your next reservation. Manchester is lucky to have a place like this.

It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him. I can recommend carryout, if you absolutely have to have some pasta in this area, but not eating in, and don't get anything that seems weird on the menu. If there were more (that weren't pizzerias), then I didn't see them. Looking at the menu and knowing my kids' tastes (12 and 9), Nonna's was right up their alley. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a welcoming introduction. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. It was a quiet and cozy restaurant, with impeccable service from beginning to end. The fresh bread, butter, and garlic with olive oil started off our meal. We followed it up with fried provolone, a chunk of breaded and fried provolone melted to a gooey temperature on a bed of red sauce and served with crostini. I don't know what the green dollop on it was, but I assumed it was something like pesto (possibly). This is where I first tasted the house-made red sauce. It is seriously a wonderful sauce--thick and hearty, robust with intense flavor. We devoured it within minutes. My kids wanted pasta, and at $9 for a gigantic plate with a huge Italian meatball, you can't beat it. My daughter said it was the second-best spaghetti she's ever had in her life. It came with the red sauce that was featured in the fried provolone. I agreed it was one of the best, and it was 100% the sauce. My Chicken Piccata was superb. It had all the flavors I was looking for--savory, delicious, tender slices of chicken with fresh veggies in a light and tangy lemon-white wine sauce. There were absolutely no leftovers when all was said and done. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. Run, don't walk when it comes to visiting Nonna's.

Ironically,…read morethere's a very well-known restaurant with the same name where I live, so I knew I had to try it. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. I requested to sit at the bar and the host walked me to the bar. The bartender was kind and attentive. At the bar, you can order from the bar bites menu and/or you can order from the regular menu. They provide roasted garlic and a warm baguette to start your meal. For dinner, I order a house salad and two bar bites, the caprese and artichoke dip. The lettuce in the salad was so fresh and it was really filling. The star was the artichoke dip. It had hints of sun dried tomatoes and it was incredible. If you're in town, I highly recommend The Garlic!

We got the mussels which were the highlight of the meal for me. The white wine sauce was so delicious, there's something I couldn't put my finger on, but it set it apart from others I've had. In all honesty, the entrees were just normal Italian food, it was good but nothing earth shattering. The reason this place is a 10/10 is because of the mussels, it's so good!
