We both got the single w/bacon: not too greasy, very flavorful and well cooked, I just wish mine had more sauce on it. Toads fries: these were okay, a lot of sauce and cheese which kind of soaked the fries but they didn't stand out overall Cheese curds: good portion for "small size" and very delicious. The marinara sauce was a little too processed/sweet for me but the curds were great. We'd definitely come back for another burger

We enjoyed a very tasty midday breakfast/lunch with good, easy-going service and a distinctly local flavor. But let's get to the food: over-easy eggs cooked just right, homemade and delicious corned beef hash, and a nice-size burger cooked as requested and yummy. Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, and the new guy in the kitchen merits praise for his good work. Our companion diners at the next table looked as if they might have been seated there for decades, savoring their coffee refills and enjoying togetherness. Nice. Wish we had a diner comparable to Wooden Soldier back home. Well worth a visit if you're headed in this direction.

We took an extra long time to decide on food because we were chatting and catching up. The staff were so kind and understanding. When we did finally place an order we both got turkey sandwiches. The turkey is roasted fresh and absolutely incredible. The veggies on the sandwich were nice and fresh as well. It came with chips and sliced pickles. The total for both of our sandwiches was just under $15 including tax! This was an incredible deal. This is a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Beyond the food, the service is incredible. I misplaced my sunglasses as I was leaving and could not find them in the booth. My friend and I took a stroll around town for about an hour, and walked back up in front of the wooden soldier where we had parked before leaving town. One of the employees asked if I was the girl who had lost my sunglasses. She let me know that the gentleman who had served us had found them under the booth after we left and had asked to local businesses if they had seen us! She told me to go right back in, even though they had closed and and there was the gentleman who had served us with my sunglasses and a great big smile! These people were the sweetest, this absolutely made my week! Good people, good food, good location. Check it out.

From the moment we walked in, I could feel the relaxing & familial atmosphere. We arrived at the same time as 2 snowmobilers which made me realize the restaurant is located right off the trail. All I could think is how incredible that must be-- riding around & then stopping for delicious food at a super small, friendly diner. An elderly couple walked in & were greeted by name. They joked about how much they missed the waitresses. You can tell most of the patrons were regulars. Anyhow, we ordered pancakes, crab cake Benedict, & a basic breakfast plate with eggs, toast, home fries, bacon. Everything was fantastic. Portions are generous. The waitress complimented my daughter's breakfast pajamas & assured us, Sally, who was cooking our food, would be out to see them. She did in fact come out & was truly such a gem. This place deserves all the praise.

Located on NY 22 in Fort Ann, just west of the Granville TL. Town Line Diner (formerly Dad's Diner)…read moreis a casual local roadside diner serving all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place is cozy offer 6 tables & booths and seating up at the lunch counter. The food offerings are typical homestyle fare. The breakfast offerings include eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and sides. The lunch/dinner offerings include fried appetizers, quesadillas, pizza, soup, salad, burgers, sandwiches, comfort dinners, desserts (ice cream treats, pies, cakes) and a kids menu. The pricing here is fair. I stopped by Town Line Diner on a rainy evening for dinner. I sat myself up at the lunch counter and the server brought over a menu and recited the daily specials with prices. I actually ordered the Stuffed Chicken Special ($17.95 plus tax) which sounded pretty good. My entree plate was served in about 15 minutes. The portion of food was very generous with a huge tender stuffed chicken breast with bread dressing and smothered with cream of spinach on the outside, served with chunky mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, and chewy dinner roll. This stuffed chicken breast dinner was very good, and a tasty comfort dish I enjoyed. I did request a to-go container for much of the food and also got a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie ($3.95 plus tax) to go as well. I haven't had lemon meringue pie in about a year and I enjoyed this slice when I got back to the house. The check was $23.43 with tax and before tip. Overall, a solid good meal, nothing fancy. The service here was prompt. I would stop by again for food if I'm driving through this part of Washington County.
