It has been a while since I treated myself to a McDonalds hamburger, fries and shake. In that interval it seems the folks at the local Mickey D's have decided that Salt, lots and lots of salt needs to be the prime ingredient in their burger and fries. The Big Mac I ordered was so terribly salty that even my dog wouldn't eat it. The fries were a bit better but still far more salt than necessary. I had always enjoyed an occasional Big Mac but I think it will be a long time before I try one again. Time to retry BK. read more

today I was at McDonald and I was the only car at the drivethru, I asked them to give me a second and they said ok, and then I said I was ready within 1 minute and they ignored me and continued to take 4 other cars that showed up after me in the opposite lane, this is uncalled for, but once I moved over to the other lane for waiting so long they answered the person who was in the same lane as I was before, and then finally took my order after 35 minutes of waiting, I'm sick of them doing this to me when I have never done anything wrong to the, they always give me bad service. read more

Second coffee this morning and I spent three hours here working. Yes, McDonald's is trying to snag some of the coffee-drinking laptop people from Starbucks. They're not getting many of them and that's fine by me because it meant the place was pretty quiet. I only spotted one power outlet, near the front. Coffee was good and because I was here so long, I could wait until it cooled naturally. And because I'd already had a great breakfast at the Blue Benn Diner, I didn't have anything else here. My order today, halfway through my egg and cheese bagel, there was a hair in between the egg and cheese which is disgusting. not to mention I have had multiple times where Ive had to call because of mistakes to my orders. they do not read your order, they rush and it's usually a mistake if you order a sandwich without something on it. when I brought up the hair issue, my response from the manager was what would you like me to do. if you go here, check your bag before leaving! read more

I didn't discover it until I was already home and it was too late and too far to correct it. This place is awful. I ordered a hamburger only ketchup and they put pickles on my burger. I actually bit into them and it made me almost puke. When I told them I was dissatisfied they said they could make another one but offered no discount, coupon, or apology. Terrible experience. It actually ruined my meal and appetite. read more

I went to Bennington McDonald's and I decided to go inside the lobby today. I was rudely greeted by the employee who later turned out to be the person bagging my order also for reference. Also for reference her name was Liz. She was miserable. I ordered a $5 Meal deal or whatever it is but she improperly charged my card $12 something. I didn't realize until I left. She repeatedly after every item I ordered "Is that all yet ma'am" and I would respond with no as the meal deal has like 5 items. And after she would let out a big old sigh. When I got my items she got literally everything but the fries and nuggets wrong! I ordered a Double Cheese burger, Small Orange Hi-C, Small Fry, and a 4 piece nugget with sweet and sour. What I got was horrible. I got: a McDouble; Small Fry; 4 Piece with BBQ; and an Orange Fanta (carbonated.) And all I said was "hey I'm sorry I ordered an Orange Hi-C and I got a Fanta." She responds with "oh my god" with such attitude and rolled her eyes. She replaced it though. I told her to have a good day and she responded with "It was a good day." Wow. I'm just in complete shock. What would she have done if I told her about the rest of the order? The general manager of the location needs to take action for these employees. I go to this McDonalds frequently. I often notice the employees as "regulars". But the only thing is, there's 2 different groups. The ones who are there to get a job well done; and the other group is just a bunch of moody employees that give a very low end job. The first group of employees are awesome as I observe time to time. The weekends are youngions. (Which is a good thing to see these days!) And they deserve way more respect, recognition, and better pay. They are the foundation of the place. I see the managers and I believe the general manager treating some of the best employees with extremely poor respect. And this is just with what I can see in a short 1-5 minute time frame. All I have to say is this: Give those people what they are worth. Liz is worth minimum wage as she is putting in the minimum. And the other ones should get above and beyond minimum wage as they go above and beyond. Do better. I'll stop back and see how things are once this review gets seen. And heard. read more

Long lines outside so I went in to order... big mistake! There were at least 12 employees running around not knowing what they were doing... and of course one cashier with a woman that had 5 different wallets with 5 different orders! Another employee came to the next register and only took outside orders.. meanwhile waiting 10 minutes with 3 people behind me I left and went back on line for the drive thru. Service has definitely gone down hill and prices are not worth what you get ... For $10 I can go down the street and get an appetizer, an entree and a drink!!! worst fast food experience I've ever had! They have new kiosk ordering system, no one ready to take verbal orders, I tried to use the kiosk and was having trouble, I pushed the button to request help and no one came. I fussed with it for a few more minutes and was unsuccessful. I proceeded to the counter and waited several minutes to be waited on. It was a very disorganized scene! I must admit I was grumpy by this time as I was with my 2 1/2 year old grand daughter who was very impatient by this time. I also found all the tables to be very dirty and sticky. I wet a napkin and wiped our table off, the ketchup "station" was a mess as well. I will try to never go back to this store read more

It's McDonald's. What the hell do you expect? I like breakfast sammiches although those McGriddle things are nasty. The new quarter pounder is actually edible. I want them to bring back McRib sandwiches permanently. Staff at the Bennington location are always friendly and they have never screwed up anything. Just can't give a fast food place more than three stars but it's a good example for the chain. read more

i worked there for a little over 6 months and everyone there is so kind and respectful to the customers and each other. when i worked there i was like a second family to me. Tiffany always made sure everyone was working but also having fun but she also made sure i was doing my school work. Ashley made sure i put school first and she was very kind. jazzy was a amazing. Christina was really kind and nice and made me laugh a lot. all these manger were really amazing. i dont understand why people say they are bad and more worried about them selves when that not true at all they care for a lot of people and they make sure the work environment is safe and they always made sure we were ok no matter what.they will always be like my second family i am so glad i got to meet every one of them because they changed my life because they showed me how to be more responsible and if it wasn't for them and my family encouraging me to get to graduation and making me do my school work on break so i can graduate and go to college i dont think i would have graduated. thanks to all the amazing people there i will never forget you guys read more
