This was an unexpectedly great find. It's a very nice bar with a good menu and is newly renovated and meticulously clean. I had the New England clam chowder, the Friday night Prime rib special, an on-tap Fiddlehead IPA and six nuclear wings. The nuclear wings were actually very tasty and more like a medium spicy to me. Didn't need ranch or a drink at all. I would definitely come back here. Bar service was incredibly friendly and the male and female bartenders teamed up to take care of me. Remember to tip well.

My family and I were traveling through the area to the great Northeast from Northeastern Indiana and I had scoped this one out on Yelp and this one did not disappoint! First walked into the bar area and decided to move over to the family room area since we had our 14 yr old son. Service was good and the food was great! Food came out very fresh and quick. Burgers were actually cooked to the temp we requested which doesn't happen very often! My tater tots were good as well. The family room area was very clean and we couldn't have been happier! We left with NY Cheesecake with strawberry topping to go and it was also great at our nearby Airbnb. Go there! Definitely worth the trip!

Here it goes..... left vermont without having anything to eat after snowboarding a half day.... on our route home we pass this place and hunger hits. Screw it let's stop in..... Walking in the place is clean, smells good and very large. One side (the taproom) is very busy, the other only a few tables occupied. One of the tables a woman eating says, hey you just seat yourself here and they will be with you. Ok great!!! My buddies and I decide to go to the busier section, we planned on having drinks anyway and that's where the bar was. Upon sitting we are greeted by a hustling and bustling waitress that was very friendly and held a great smile. I get up to use the bathroom and walk on to one of the cleanest well maintained watering holes I've ever entered. From this point forward I knew this food was going to hit the spot. I was def not wrong!!!!! We got Buffalo chicken wraps, chicken tenders (more like a nugget), loaded tater tots sweet potato fries (melba sauce, I think that's what it was called, was bomb!!!) and a turkey club sandwich. This place really was a hidden gem. I'm super happy we stopped in and the wait staff was super friendly, helpful and sweet.

We ate lunch here again today. Food was very good as usual. We both had the stuffed pepper soup, it was delicious. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger, it was cooked exactly the way she asked, her onion rings were awsm. I had a bar pizza pictured, crust is very crispy and tasty. We really like this place. Highly Recommend

Food is always good here. But their wine is way over priced for the type of establishment.

Did you try the pizza or Italian dishes ? If so how was it?

Obviously made with care and attention to good ingredients and prepared perfectly. Huge portions with enough to take home for another meal. Generous side salad at an extra, but fair price. Hot rolls with butter. Pasta dishes were amazing and the scallops were plentiful and cooked just right. Friendly service and fun, but rustic atmosphere. Another hidden gem!…read more Tucked away at the north end of Champ's Campground & RV Park, Champ's Corner Restaurant serves up a variety of homecooked meals in an intimate casual laid back atmosphere. The light background music from Frank Sinatra Radio plays over the speakers, relaxing and not too loud. The dining room has a homey feel which is decorated which is dimly lit with plenty of old framed pictures on the walls, antiques, a few holiday lights, a couch next to a lighted angel, and a concrete floor. There are a few tables for large and small parties, a high top table and seating (6 high seats) with flatscreen TV and QuickDraw monitor at the corner bar. The menu offerings include appetizers, soups, salads, pasta dishes, chicken, steaks, seafood, desserts, soft drinks, beer & wine, plus a children's menu (12 & under). They also offer daily specials and the prices are fair. Each meal is prepared fresh to order. After driving back home from the North Country, I stopped by Champ's Corner Pub & Grill for dinner, at a campground of all places. I took a peek at the specials board near the front counter and took a seat at an open table. There were two large parties of older folks already enjoying drinks and dinner and a couple sitting at the bar. The server walked over with a menu and took my drink order (ice water). For a starter, the Wedge Salad ($7.95 plus tax), had a crisp iceberg wedge, topped with bleu cheese dressing, bleu cheese crumbles, bacon bits, chives and cherry tomato slices on each corner of the square plate. This wedge was a good sized and very good starter salad. A warm dinner roll with butter was served too. For dinner, I ordered the Baked Halibut Special ($22.95 plus tax) served with baked potato with butter & sour cream, fresh steamed green beans and lemon wedge. The halibut was a good size piece, thick, soft and flaky. The baked potato was very hot, already topped with butter, sour cream on the side. The green beans were nice and firm. I finished my big plate of food, but I had to pass on dessert. The check was $33.06 with tax and before tip. Overall, an excellent dinner with adequate service. I did have to wait a bit (12 minutes for the wedge and another 15 minutes for my dinner entree) since there was a large party that just ordered dinner as I arrived for dinner. I would definitely recommend stopping in here for a sold good homecooked dinner.
