Diner near Whitehall on route between New York and Vermont. It's a bit run down (The bathrooms could be cleaner) but serves up breakfast quickly.

Horrible service. Lazy group of women who are on phones, gossiping and eating constantly next to our food. Prices are way expensive for what the kids get for a meal. I had to give up half my meal so they could get full. Hamburgers taste like frozen patties. Not homemade. Known for their pies? Yuck. They were fake. Not from scratch. I know a good pie. Stay away. Waste of money and taste buds.

Two signs are better then one. Big Apple Diner awaits you.

While driving from Vermont into NY I spotted this place. Hit the breaks and swung a hard left. Big Foot cut out greets you.

Your basic diner... Prices were low, food was fine and the service was fine. This is the second time I have been here..... Things were very consistent....

I've eaten here 3-4 times in the last 2 years when I come to Whitehall NY to research Bigfoot. The food is tasty and the portions are decent. I've had omelettes, burgers and the turkey club. All good choices. Friendly people. I'll keep coming here.

Greetings from the Big Apple Diner!

A pleasant and welcomed surprise as my boyfriend and I were traveling to Vermont from New Jersey. We had some trouble finding a spot for lunch as we passed through Whitehall, NY. I saw this on Yelp (barely able to -- cell reception is almost nonexistent in this area) and passed it on Rt. 4. It's a quaint little place and not the coziest but the food was great, and that's all that matters, right? I ordered a grilled cheese which was delicious and came with potato chips and pickle slices. BF ordered the hamburger/macaroni soup and a BLT and we were both really happy with the food. There's not much to do in the area but it'a definitely a great place to stop along your travels!

Excuse me it's time to eat!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that's looking for a really good breakfast.

The name says it all, it's a diner. Food was home cooked style, taste great and refuled us to continue our travels.

Very rude to travelers, dumpy place, no restrooms. Guess it's only locals allowed as they were very unfriendly and grumpy

Stopped there with group while traveling on our motorcycles today. Everyone had said they had a very good lunch. Nice place to eat.

Great Food! They make something called Maceroni and burger soup. It was incredible! Great food stop on the way back from Killington!
