Service was wonderful and staff are genuinely kind. Cafe is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Great ambiance and a rooftop!! Coffee is outstanding with plenty of options . Desserts are scrumptious.

I tried their new flan latte - definitely on the sweeter side but definitely a great latte especially for someone who prefers sweet coffee. Staff was always friendly & I love how they open the windows to the shop to let the fresh air in on the nicer days!

Translated from the Spanish meaning small cut, it refers to a strong, Cuban-style espresso drink. It's essentially a small, sweet version of a Spanish cortado, and it's made with a high sugar content and a touch of milk, typically 1:1 espresso to hot milk. Located on Washington Avenue in Belleville, customers are greeted by the portrait of musical icon Celia Cruz aptly proclaiming ¡Azucar! behind the pastry counter's tart pastelitos de guayaba y queso and quesitos of the newly renovated next door to the old one with a warm and inviting vibe at Cortaditos. As my partner and I were invited for a celebration, we decided to get a dozen of the Guava Pastellitos as well as the Meat Pastellito and Ropa Vieja Empanada. These were small, flaky pastries filled with a sweet and savory filling. They are a popular Cuban treat, often enjoyed for breakfast, snack, or dessert. The meats were tasty and richly flavored. The empanadas were baked and not greasy. These guava pastelitos were a big part of my childhood. The staff were friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable for the area. For a first-timer to the new location, it won't be the last, as I can recommend it.

Vegan Cubano is nice. Typically a lot of ice served in my Morir soando. No vanilla extract added but could've been nice. Prices kinda high but fits w area. Staff might not be familiar w English but there is a toast tablet w explanations of various items. Cereal drink- con-trigo which maybe should be trigo con. Pay 20 extra for a half hour to park or come here randomly were my choices lol

Lovely spot to stop by for a coffee! We did go here in hopes of doing work and it was super hot inside so that was the only "downside" but the service was great and the drinks were incredible. The food wasn't half bad either. I'd def come back in the winter or sometime their big windows are open!!

Woke up hungry and wanted a café con leche and the boo wanted a Cuban pastelito de carne so I was on the search for a good Cuban bakery. Stopped by and was not disappointed. Would def return. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and he got the Cuban and loved it. Personally I would ask that they press my sandwich longer but that's just my preference. The chicken empanadas were delish! He loved all the empanadas so don't think you can go wrong with any. I saw someone walk out with this drink and had to find out what it was. A frozen cafe con leche. DELICIOUS. GET IT. I got it sweetened and there was an option to add a flavor. Only upset I got a small size just in case I wouldn't like but now I know. Cool little cafe/bakery with the option to sit or take items to go. Quick and friendly service.

We walked in and everyone was very welcoming. We asked about the upstairs and they told us we could go up. The wall decor was beautiful. It was a cute set up however, the tables were left dirty and had cups from prior customers . So I basically moved them to the counter , was able to sit and enjoy my cafe con leche and quesito. They had cute little cups and the quesito was delicious. I think they need someone checking on the people upstairs or at least cleaning up. Overall I'll come back especially when it gets warmer for the little patio area they have .

Loved the ice coffee and the Cuatro Tres Leches. The Tres Leches was sweet and delicious. The inside was very pretty and they have a table setting where you can sit outside which I hope to do as it gets warmer. I learned the upstairs area was beautiful from the friends I was with but didn't get to see it yet but will do. My friend enjoyed the cuban sandwich and I am eager to try more food and drinks there. The staff and servers were also very kind. I am very happy that this is near the area I live and hope to come again for breakfast or lunch again soon. :)

I heard there's an upstairs opened, but it was closed when I was there maybe they're renovating.

I went to the beauty supply store across the street which by the way is very good. I discovered this little place and it was awesome. I am half Cuban so it was a little bit of Cuba in there. They just need to hire more people behind the counter because service is really slow. Their coffee is great. Their café con Leche is amazing. It's a must try for sure.

What I actually got and half of that top is all Foam :(

I am a frequent customer at this place and have never been disappointed until today :( I ordered their frozen cafe con Leche and to say it came up short would be to say the least in all aspects my cup was filled half way without any top of dressings no whip no caramel topping nothing as pictured ! And I made sure to put my add-ons Very highly disappointed and I'm Hoping in the future that this doesn't go on because they really are one of the only Cuban establishments that serve good food! Coffee however not the best which is even sadder being that it's one of the biggest parts of our culture

What can be said that already hasn't?! Great coffee, speedy service even though they are constantly packed. Love their empanadas. The quesitos (sweet cheese flaky pastry), the cubano, the croissants, etc etc. Just go and you'll be sure to ENJOY!!!

Do I have to preorder the tres leches cake?

No, they sell tres leches by the slice. If you want a larger tree leches cake you'd have to order it.

Especially when you are not in the mood for your own cooking and you just feel like grabbing something to eat instead. It's a small baut nice bakery. A little bit of a fast paced environment. Not too bad but quick. Everything there looked absolutely delicious! We wanted to order everything but alas our time in tje line ended and we had to choose. So we ordered a few empanadas, pastries and coffee. Everything we ordered was delicious but I have to say my favorite savory was the Beef empanadas. Perfectly seasoned and crunchy on the outside. The pastries soft with the sweetness of the dulce de leche. Now their coffee to me personally I've had better. I fell like the food and pastries make up for the coffee. I still fell in love with this place. Isn't a cozy home away from home type of vibe. Wish we didn't live in Orlando so I can become a regular here but what can I do? I will just have to make another trip. Well, point is I fell in love with this place

What an incredible combination! First off, the cake was just gorgeous. But most importantly, it was absolutely delicious! Our aunt was greatly pleased with the taste, as were we, but also that it was something she had never had in all her 90 years! Ashamed to say we live only 3 blocks down, but haven't stopped in more often. Believe me, that won't happen anymore. Never saw so many beautiful pastries, cakes, cookies, and empanadas, all that we are going to try and work our way through this year.

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort.
