What a cute cafe! I had to try when I was recommended by a family member. As a Latina, I LOVE coquito and had to try their coquito latte - it was a cold day so I did get it hot (I know I know coquito is traditionally cold) and it was ok, a little too sweet for my preference. I'd love to try to iced coquito latte next time without whipped cream to see if that would be more enjoyable. I also tried the guava and cheese sorrullo & alcapurria - the sorrullo was yummy but I wasn't a huge fan of the alcapurria, I've had better elsewhere. The Nutella quesito was also pretty good but I just personally wouldn't order it again. Service was great! Friendly and attentive.

Finally , had a chance to try this place out after it was recommended to me by a friend. I ordered the coquito latte with oatmilk, it comes topped with whipped cream, coconut, flakes and cinnamon. But since i'm lactose intolerant i skipped the whipped cream and I am not a big fan of coconut flakes or too much cinnamon , so I skipped that as well. The drink was still very good and I really enjoyed the coffee flavor, it was a bit sweet so I'm wondering if that could be controlled next time. The breakfast sandwich was pretty basic , but still good. You had a choice of Mayo butter or garlic sauce, which I wasn't sure about. But I feel like it could use another component even if it was ketchup. I could definitely see myself going back to try some of the snacky items and to grab another coffee. Staff was nice as well.

Visited on a Saturday. There was a line out of the door to get in. Luckily we were able to find parking right out front. We waited about 15 minutes before we could place our order. I ordered a sandwich and a smoothie. I got my smoothie first which was good. The sandwich was also good. My only critique is that the sandwich was saltier than I would have liked. Very flavorful but it may have been the pork that had too much salt. This may also just be my palate so try it for yourself. The restaurant is decorated so cute and they added touches that truly remind you of Puerto Rico. The employees were all so nice and friendly and were very interested in receiving feedback on the food. They are doing a great job and they clearly have done a great job with marketing with lines out of the door and barely any available tables. Keep up the great work!

The guava house was a great treat. A special touch of guava which I enjoyed. This was my first time trying the San Sebastián chicken sandwich. It was delicious. It has the special sauce inside. I was not a fan of the sorullo with the guava though. Service was quick and food came out warm.

Street parking available. You can dine inside or take it to go. Good set up for a casual work from home setting. The coquito latte is absolutely delicious and it looks so pretty. Blend it up and it's the perfect blend of espresso and sweetness! The Cuban sandwich is finger licking good. Perfect portion with a side of plantain chips. It was definitely a highlight of this visit. Super friendly service to brighten up your mood. I will be coming back because that was one of the best Cubans I have ever tasted.

This place continues to be one of my favorite coffee shops! It's a little taste of authentic Puerto Rico in the middle of Clifton, NJ. Their coffee drinks are delicious and creative. New drinks are regularly featured and fan favorites are consistently offered. The food is finger licking good! Comfort fried foods, sandwiches, breakfast, and more! You gotta swing by and try it for yourself. The team was very hospitable, exceptional service, cool vibes with the music and dominoes tables. Plenty of street parking. Please note, they are closed on Mondays (everyone deserves a day off).

Yall better come up here and get you a coquito latte!!! I'm not joking this is the BEST coffee I've ever had. If you love a strong but sweet coffee then this is your place. The sweetness is just the right amount without making your stomach hurt. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, lol I was a little confused by the menu and was given plenty of time to make a decision without being rushed. I came in around 9:15am so there was no line but was informed that the morning rush just left. I will definitely be back 100000 more times :)

Visited this cozy cafe today. The owner is so nice! I loved that I could look out the window and eat. I got the coquito latte - sooo good! I also got a chicken empanada - so delicious. I'm excited to try more pastries and food there!

I loved everything about this place and I am not just saying this because I am Puerto Rican and I LOVE to support! I truly did enjoy everything about what I ate at this cute little spot. The sandwich, definitely reminded me of something I would get in PR. Super simple yet super delicious. It was perfect. The coquito latte.. it was amazing lol. Coquito is a big deal for us Puerto Ricans and that latte definitely did not disappoint. I feel like it would only be a Puerto Rican to do it perfectly the way this place did it! Lol. The tembleque was super ricooo! & so was the sorullo with guava and cheese. I honestly would have tried everything if I could! Everything was just simply delicious. Every bite and sip of what I had, had me reminiscing being in a panadería in the island. It was truly an experience and I am glad I was able to come because now, I can visit more often! (I'm coming back for my latte!!! ) The young lady who helped me was the sweetest. I loved everything about this cafe. From the food to the decor to the music playing ! Go show them some love, you won't regret it! Que viva Puerto Rico!

Food here was prepared fresh and was tasty. The Cuban sandwich is enough to share among two people. The cooks here are very generous in the amount they put into the sandwich. The coquito latte was delicious and not too strong (just don't forget to stir so that you don't just get the hit of expresso). Service was great , staff was attentive and kind.

A piece of Puerto Rico! From the welcoming and hospitable feeling you get from the staff to the sounds of the music to the taste and smell of the food...feels like you are visiting the enchanted island. Large portions, flavorful dishes, delicious coffee and drinks! A must visit...try everything on the menu...I did and it's ALL very Good!! Muy rico!!!

Redownloaded yelp just to leave 5 stars btw First time there yesterday I didn't even notice it was already closed but the owner still got my order in for a house coffee and it was AMAZING, came back today and got the guava house and it was even better along with the the cuban, the garlic and pickles made it so good, but I still want to try the other sandwiches! I've been here only twice and I can tell this will be a go to for me post gym for a small bite and drink!

San Sebastián This sandwich can't be real. might be on the top 5 all time sandwich list.

I really love this place and the owners are great the food is incredible but the fact they are closed on not only Monday but closed on Sunday when everyone wants breakfast and coffee is a deal breaker for us. Every time we crave it we can't get it. Why have a cafe that's closed on Sunday!!

Since Yemeni coffee and tea options aren't common for everyone, they take the time to explain the menu and answer questions, which I really appreciated. However, the Adeni Chai was the only saving grace of the visit. It was flavorful and well made, but the coffee was a massive disappointment. I tried the Jubani after the staff described it as a delicious light-roasted coffee packed with caffeine, but in reality, it tasted like bland cardamom water with absolutely no coffee flavor or body. It felt like I was just drinking hot spiced water. The atmosphere was also a major issue as there was no seating available whatsoever. The crowd was mostly of Middle Eastern descent and many were incredibly rude; people will bump right into you and not say a word. Even worse was the way some customers spoke to the workers, it was absolutely deplorable. Honestly, who raised you? It was uncomfortable to witness. The dessert selection was even worse. Most of what we ordered felt stale and old. The only thing worth eating was the bubble dessert with cheese because they actually toast it. We tried both the pistachio milk cake and the pistachio dream cake, and neither was impressive. The khattafi in the pistachio dream was the biggest letdown; it was so stale and bland I can't believe they actually put it out to sell when it was clearly weeks if not months old. The basboosa was also a disappointment, as it was a very small square of semolina cake for almost $5. Overall, It is not a good place for coffee or desserts, so if you do go, stick strictly to the Adeni chai.

I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.
