A wonderful addition to the neighborhood and it is Latino owned and operated. You can spot them easily because they are the store front with flower pots leading to their charming interior. I wish I would've taken a video because this place looks like it was taken out of a storybook! So much thought and love was put into the decor, which starts with an arch of hundreds of hanging flowers. We came in and ordered a few things to test out the menu. We had a vanilla milkshake which was gigantic and decorated beautifully with sprinkles galore! The dulce de leche chocolate chip cookie was my absolute favorite because it melted in your mouth. But a close second was the adorable mini loaf of tres leches. They also sell sandwiches and a variety of coffees but we came just for sweets. If you are not big on coffee or sweets, I would come to simply have your next photoshoot here! The pink velvet chairs and teal couch with the most beautiful backdrop would be iconic for your next artistic adventure. This is truly a perfect first date spot, remote work station or simply a great place to meet friends. We look forward to coming many more times in the future!

I had the hazelnut coffee and I believe my friend had the same. She also had a banana bread cake. My coffee was DELICIOUS. I wish they would have had more desserts/treats displayed. It was a very limited selection and what was there was packaged in plastic containers. However my friend did state the banana bread was good. Wait time: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 8/10 - due to desserts/treat options but on just coffee alone 10/10 Ambience: cute and cool coffee house Price point: 5/10 Would you return: yes

I showed up a bit too early on a Saturday after a nearby lunch, keep in mind they open at 2 p.m. on Saturdays. I was not about to miss out, so I read in my car for a half hour before being "that customer" that's waiting when the door opens. The two women working took my early arrival completely in stride and were impressively professional throughout my time there. They were engaging and once they heard I was a first time customer, gave me a rundown of the menu and their process. The shop is impeccably clean, modern, and features comfortable seating. I went with an original chimney cake and it was made fresh. I selected a drizzle of their store made dulce de leche and after a brief wait, it was ready. I really enjoyed the chimney cake, crispy exterior and a tender interior. Just sweet enough. I would certainly try it with their ice cream in the future but I'm glad I tried it on its own the first time. Excellent experience!

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

With all the old guard now in the history books I began searching for a new reliable bakery. Very first visit here and... I was on the fence. Second visit... okay, I'm a fan. Subsequent visits... actually I'm a big fan. From red velvet cookies to Sfogliatella to carrot cake - they have more than enough treats to quell your sweet tooth. The breads (the reason I find myself here most times) - incredible. Rolls (of varying sizes) as well as a damn perfect bastone (crunchy and flaky, ready to be piled high for a sandwich) not to mention... the almighty Pizza Bread?! Oh, yeah. A bit more rare to find but the only proper 'pane' if/when you're going to make an Italian hot dog. They also have a side/section with a full deli if savory is more your speed. Cool staff. Good pricing. Metered street parking but be warned... this one specific street feels more like a strip mall - with probably a dozen businesses (liquor stores to salons to fitness centers to a few restaurants to...) - all vying for those spots. (And if you ever need an icebreaker at a social gathering... tell 'em "da Vinci" wasn't actually Leonardo's last name. You're sure to be a hit at the party!)
