We have been here multiple times and their burgers are the best in Eugene(that we've had). Customer service has always been good. We loved having the option to sit outside during COVID restrictions. read more

This is my favorite place when wanting comfort food. They have the best veggie chili I've ever had. The Mac attack grilled cheese goes really well with it and tastes amazing! read more

This place has a special each day of the week. Good sandwiches, soups, salads and burgers. In fact, I know it has been voted best burger in eugene multiple times. The Tater tots are bomb!! Get a burger here and scoot on over to one of the several breweries nearby. read more

Oh its all about the baby blue burger! Blue cheese, bacon and avocado!

Had lunch at the Cornucopia mid-week. Saw a few mixed reviews, but also some over the top positive reviews. We were really in the mood for burgers so thought we would give them a go. The place looks like a dive bar, so I didn't expect much. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my wife a mushroom burger. Well, both burgers set our current Gold Standard for burgers. Fantastic flavor, cooked to perfection, and the fries and onion rings were excellent. This is the burger that we have been comparing all other burgers to. My wife is still raving about it. As we were eating, I noted all the awards and plaques saying "Voted Eugene's Best Burger." No doubt, although there are plenty of great restaurants in Eugene, if we come back we will be back for Round 2! read more

The burger and tots were very good. A little too much ketchup for my liking but was still good. I will be back here for sure but will ask for my burger dry. I can always add ketchup myself at the table. We had a larger group and service was fast. read more

Ate here today with my wife and 4 young boys. we were seated very quickly at a nice table. Our server was funny and very responsive. Food was very good...maybe not the best burger I have ever had but very good. kids meals were small but included the entree and fries with fruit...nice twist! Reasonably priced lunch and nice energy. read more

Stopped for lunch with the whole family driving through Eugene - including our son and my parents. Nice to find somewhere in the valley that serves our hometown favorite Atlas Hard Cider! Appreciated that this place was family friendly and had a solid kids' menu (hooray for offering grapes or apples in addition to fries). My Asian chicken rice bowl was great not soggy nor bland quite good and my husband really enjoyed the smoked club. Our server was friendly and the wait was minimal - not sure if we got lucky based on a few other reviews but no complaints in regards to his effort much appreciated. Do wish there was a bigger selection of Eugene or regional beers on tap. Small selection of beer was our only complaint. Will happily return again great family outing. read more

I was very disappointed. Way overpriced, chicken strips were $12.75 added onion rings for $2.65. The onion rings were undercooked Frozen onion rings and the chicken portions were really small and over breaded. Worst $15.40 ever spent on chicken strips and onion rings. It's sad cuz it used to be good. The burgers are all $15 or more. read more

Busy Friday Lunch. We were sat within 3 min and promptly given water. Since this was our first time there we took our time looking at menu which is possibly why no one checked on us. Once our menus closed we had a server. Very polite server but didn't tell us soup or special. Food was FABULOUS. Delish fries and tots! Hubby devoured his coffee crusted burger (slugger maybe I don't want to misrepresent) and my "vurger" was very flavorful although heavy on black beans. Will I go back...in a heartbeat! (Portions are huge so beware) read more

I tried Cornucopia based solely on a Google search for "best burger in Eugene." Well, that and the fact that the menu claimed the beef was local and hormone-free, always a plus. The cheeseburger was exactly as advertised. Tasty as hell and GIANT to boot. I ended up only eating half of the burger, so I could finish the fries while I was there. Even good fries don't last in the fridge, right? But the other half of the burger was nearly as tasty at 2 a.m. later that night. The place itself is pretty nondescript, though. Friendly enough staff. read more

I judge bartenders. Period. Are they good people, do they crazily over serve for increased tips, do they treat people well or condescendingly, are the fast, aware and efficient, can they make a drink.... I can be kind of a bi&$h about it. John was incredible. Skilled, savvy, friendly, passionate about his craft and his company. Bomb. Not flirty but 100% solid "got your back, have you thanking me for cutting you off" professional barkeep. I actually saw him get thanked for choosing (wisely) to not serve someone any more. And he kept me well paced with waters always full. I appreciated that. The karaoke was super light, retro skewed and fun. Talent and no talent was hooted and hollered for. It made it lively and upbeat. I came here on a salad recommendation from my hotel and stayed for hours. My salad was impeccable. But you already know they have great food, the atmosphere, and vibe was the bees knees too!!! read more

Sadly this place has gone downhill. I have had the slowest service the last 4 times (why do I keep going back?! Oh, cuz you can't mess up the beer!) And the food is terrible. Had a turkey provolone and it was the saddest sandwich of my life. The server disappeared and my friend had to leave for work so I had to sit there another 10-15 minutes while the bartender ignored me to get the bill. Stay away from this overhyped waste of time. read more

Been here 3 times now, our burgers are always good, and their hot wings are great. (Honestly never ordered anything else). They've got a nice selection of beers usually, too. Problems: the wait staff tends to get distracted. We've had to stand waiting for a long time at a not busy time to get seated, and have had our beers "forgotten" and had to request them again. Also, had issues getting seated and then never given water/napkins/drink orders or seen a waiter for 10 minutes and had to hunt them down. Mixed feelings as this has happened both in semi-busy times, and slow times. Their food is good though, so if you don't mind sitting for a long time, go ahead and enjoy! read more

Very good selection of drinks and always great tasting food , big portions . The menu inspires me to order outside of my comfort zone . Mac and cheese with bacon and broccoli, chicken taco salad, burgers with toppings put together so thoughtfully . I love this place and will continue to return . Fave drink of mine is a play on gin and juice called a "shizzle dizzle" that has CBD in it ! read more

I had their coffee encrusted burger with onion rings. It was decent. The waiter was in a bad mood and not helpful with suggesting anything. He didn't offer any feedback and seemed irritated that we were there. read more

When I crave a burger and fries, this is the place I go. The burgers are so good, I can never get myself to order anything else. Plus the portions are definitely "American-Sized," so $10 gets me two meals. Both locations are great, and I have never had a problem with service (which is saying a lot for a restaurant in Eugene). This particular location has a full bar too :) read more

As a long-time vegetarian, I lovelovelove the veggie burgers at Cornucopia, but my favorite is the Karma King sammie, which has thin slices of tempeh that were marinated in heaven and brought back to be sandwiched between some Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. So freaking good. They have batterdipped french fries, which I personally don't like at all, but many people do, so I won't dock them for that, that's more of a preference and as batterdipped fries go they are good. Where they miss the 5th star for me is so-so customer service (not bad, per se, but not very welcoming or friendly) and the fact that they serve their soda and iced tea in chipped reusable plastic cups, which is pretty tacky. That said, I will continue to enjoy MANY more amazing Vurgers at Cornucopia, as they are truly the best you can find in the PacNW! read more

Went to dinner here with my vegan sister. She really enjoyed the all-American vurger. She even went as far as to say that it was the best she ever had. I had the blackened cajun burger with the cajun fries and it was definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. On top of that, the service was spectacular. Very friendly gal with a great sense of humor. I would definitely go back and will tell all of my friends. -Brian F. read more

While Cornocopia has been my place to go for burgers on Eugene, after three poor experiences in a row, I am done giving these guys the benefit of the doubt. This last time, we arrived and were seated at 530pm, they didn't take our order until 6pm, and we weren't served dinner until 645pm. Even one apology would have made it okay but our server acted as if nothing was amiss. Mind you we were there with our 2 year old, and are lucky she is such an easy kid. Last time, our sweet potato fries were overcooked borderlining on burned, and the time before my burger was overcooked and the fries were cold and soggy. When they are on their game they have solid service and good food, but I'm no longer willing to take the risk. read more

I can say that the burgers are top notch. The fries are good, and the Cajun tater tots are the best. I'm still cautious about going out for food, but getting some of the tastiest classics to-go from a restaurant I love makes for a great evening. Thank you, Cornucopia! read more

How hard is it to make nachos? The chips were burned--charred--had very little cheese, and it wasn't even good cheese. The olives and peppers were not quality and tasted straight out of a can. Much of the cheese was burned. Strangely, there was very little salsa. We told the waitress that the chips were charred and she literally walked away. The drinks were good, but we should've gone to Taco Bell. I can't believe they charge 14.99 for something so substandard. Poor service, bad food, a long wait. No thanks. read more

I was coming here pretty much on a weekly basis for trivia for 6 months; during that time they lost our favorite waiter, Jordan (you can catch him at Oakshire now), and perhaps they have had some other staffing issues because the service went downhill pretty quickly. At one time I was a fan of their seared ahi tuna salad with some wasabi dressing, but the last couple of times that I had it the tuna didn't taste fresh. I like their hush puppies, of course, and sweet potato fries. Their burgers, sandwiches and other entrees are generally good but the ambiance and service can be a turnoff. But really it's just pub food and not at all bad at that. read more

My date had the marvelously alcohol heavy Spanish Coffee. We split a slice of cherry cheescake...that was as expected. And I had a glass of Henessy...served warmed over a cup of steaming water. Waiter was completely inattentive, all be it polite when he did tend to us. Music was difficult to hear competing with loud surrounding conversations. Loved the train passing every so often...you could feel it more than hear it. Certainly WOULD go back...expectations are clear now and know what I would be getting into. Bar comfy. read more

Moderately priced burgers and sandwiches, drink selection is pretty big too! Nice clean, friendly place to grab some dinner and relax. Wife didn't like her fish tacos, but my salad was fine. The issue was the service, and the waiter that seemed like we were interfering with something else he was trying to do. He was brusque when we asked questions about the menu, and didn't volunteer the special; I had to ask. My cocktail came complete with floating leftover cucumber seeds. What do you do with those: drink them or fish them out with your fingers?... My request for the dessert menu was initially ignored, and then he brought the somewhat crowded and unappetizing tray and ran through the options so quickly that it seemed better to opt out, particularly when he picked up a plastic wrapped dessert bar with two fingers and said, "this might be peach or apricot; I don't know." There are plenty of places to eat. You have to work harder to get my repeat business. read more

Our daughter recommended the place but didn't advise on what to get. So we got the All American Cheese burger. Was disappointed by the meat quality - the burger was more like a meatloaf burger - didn't taste like a hamburger or look like hamburger (even dark brown/grey look - meatloaf - lots of filler). Two stars as our server was great and super friendly. The beer was good too. read more

Went here multiple times and it was great both times. Good customer service and even better food!

Eating here right now after waiting approximately 55 minutes. Poor server must be working alone. Everyone around us is complaining. Two tables asked to just pay for their drinks and skip the food. Food is average. Also, I had one good beer and tried to order another one, but they didn't have time to hear what I wanted. Guess I will drink water with my meal. read more

Best burgers in Eugene...both locations. Haven't tried anything else there yet, but love those burgers!

From simple burgers to extravagant, they do them well. I love the drink specials and service has always been great. I went there recently during the Covid phase 1 and it was still the same. If you love burgers, this is the best place in town. I'm a big fan of the patio at the 19th Street location. read more

OK, Tappers, (that's what I am going to call those of you who read my reviews) does the rating in a review reflect on the food only or the entire experience? Please respond so I can reflect appropriately. With that being said the two people I asked that question, responded the entire experience so here we go... I hope some one from the establishment reads this because it was a tough review for me. Had the philly cheese steak, it was great. Wife had the tomato soup, loved it, friend had a salad with some veggie substitute for the chicken that was very tasty. That's where the compliments end. The food was pretty good! The service, atmosphere and ambiance were suspect at best. There were 7 of us and they stuck us in a corner where we could not converse with one another, we were all, except 1 on the same side of the table. It seemed they were squeezing people in every corner they could. The waiter was put out, probably because the place was packed and they were putting more people everywhere. He forgot my wife's drink, forgot to order my philly (everyone else on the table was served while I had to wait for my sandy), never came back to check on our drinks, food, water until it was time to deliver the bill, and a table that was seated after us received their food first. Nothing bothers me more than that. Will return to try the food, but hope to be treated better than this visit. read more

Good atmosphere, good food, cool back yard area. I like how they hold forth in houses. On the down side, I have to say they charge too much for basic stuff. The staff are cordial but also have an off-putting "clicky" or "snooty" kind of attitude, like they see you as a "lesser" who they have to be nice to. That's a turn-off. They seem to have a little bit of a political vibe too although I'm not sure why it seems like this to me. Politics is a turn-off for me at a restaurant. read more

What do you do when you're hungry for dinner but not in the mood to see what's going on outside in the real world? You call in an order at Cornucopia and ask your boyfriend very very very nicely if he will be the one to run inside so you don't have to change out of your pajamas. We ordered two American Cheeseburgers with fries and a side of ranch. The guy on the phone was super upbeat and excited to take our order which was actually surprising since normally orders taken over the phone are mumbly and short. 20 minutes later we were driving home to feast on our burgers. The burgers themselves are HUGE. For 13$ they should be. The fries were yummy but I was disappointed that they barely gave us any with our burgers. I think to go orders normally get ripped off when it comes to the fries, bummer! Everything tasted fresh and the meat actually looked and tasted like good quality meat but it could have used more seasoning. I like the bun they use and they do put ketchup and mustard on their burgers so I asked for that on the side instead because I'm picky. I haven't eaten inside this location yet but from the look of their salads and appetizers it might not be long before I go there for dinner or lunch. read more
