My family, and I have been stopping back in ever so often lately. Today we were happily surprised with the new menu change. I am pretty sure most of the items that were previously taken off are back. I went immediately for the Southwest egg rolls. My Dad ordered the corned beef hash, and one of my boys had steak taco's. Not sure if that is new or not. He said he really liked them. I can't wait to get a steak salad again. I didn't get it today because I already had my heart set on the sweet chili wings, to go along with my egg rolls. The layout of the menu looks clean, and great. I snapped some pics, they were not the best as I had my 4 year old Grandson reaching across me every few seconds for his Dad across the table. Thank you Barger Grill for bringing the favorites back. We will be coming back more. The service as always is always great. read more

I've been to Barger Grill for breakfast a couple of times and I love their hashbrowns. I was there for lunch and decided to try their patty melt and the side I chose was tater tots. This is the first restaurant I have been at in Eugene that serves a proper patty melt. They use a wonderful marble rye bread with a good melted cheese on a good hamburger patty. I was most impressed with actual caramelized onions ( I have tried a lot of patty melts in Eugene and Barger Grill is the only place that had proper caramelized onions). This is a good place to watch sports games or just to get together with friends. Staff is friendly and professional, and make you feel at home. read more

Always a great meal and good cold beer at a reasonable price. It's one of our favorites.

The service and food are great now. If you have a big party, they include the gratuity in the order.. I always tip , but it surprised me. However not a problem. The prices are fair. read more

I stopped in here with my partner for an early dinner today. We had gotten food to go before (mac and cheese and the spicy chicken wrap, both good) and had a good experience so we wanted to try sit-down too. We were seated immediately and got to order pretty quickly, even though a few other tables came in at the same time as us. I got the club sandwich and my partner got the sausage flatbread. We also got the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The mozz sticks were delicious! They were thin, crunchy, and the cheese pulled perfectly. The ranch was also really good and I had enough leftover for dipping my fries in. The club sandwich was good - I replaced the Swiss with cheddar since I don't like Swiss. It was also a pretty big serving so I have lunch for tomorrow too. The flatbread was good and my partner finished it and said it was very filling. We got a slice of Samoa cheesecake and a slice of butterfinger cheesecake to go, so I'm looking forward to having those later tonight. I wanted the Twix cheesecake but they were out so I went for butterfinger instead. Our server was very nice and had no problem with my cheese substitution. Everyone working here seemed very nice and happy. The TVs were playing a football game, a random funny clips channel, and something else I didn't really catch. No closed captions. The place was clean but a bit loud even though it wasn't super busy. It was mostly older folks at the tables but there were a couple of louder guys at the bar watching the game. There's plenty of parking since this place is at the end of a shopping center and right next to a Winco, and there's a light right there so it's super easy to get in and out of. I didn't get a chance to check out the bathrooms but I'm sure they're fine given how clean everything else seemed. Overall we had a positive experience and will be back again. read more

Chad is great. we eat here often. love the atmosphere, love the food, love the prices. Really great place to visit

Everything every time we go it's great good food good staff just a great place to have any meal

The team there is so attentive and helpful, it is a real gem for Bethel and Eugene. I had a problem with a take out order and the instantly made it right, I was never treated line a "Karen" The Chicken and rice bowl and most of the sandwiches I've had, soo good! read more

Food was just ok nothing exceptional. Service was a bit slow and when asked for a separate plate since we split, they brought a very cold plate. Hhmmm! read more

Food is barely passable. I asked waitress how chicken and waffles were and she recommended. Waffles were cold and chicken was terrible. Usually, I order a BLT, because how can you mess that up, but they have. Food took a long time for pretty basic order. If they stepped up their food, they'd do better. I won't be back and I live very close. Too bad, they'd get a lot of my business if they were decent. Service very erratic and inconsistently cordial. Whoever is writing good reviews must be friends of owners or getting paid. read more

This is my go to spot when I can't decide what to eat when I eat out. They have a good spread of different foods, lots of beer, full bar and great service. The restaurant is clean service is great and the best part are their cheesecake slices, JUST.TRUST. ME. It's so good. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The food 10/10. The wait staff is exceptional. Waitress fantastic and friendly. The cook even stopped by to ask if we needed anything. Said he " made it with love". You can tell everyone here gets along and appreciates their customers. It exceeded expectations for a grill/taphouse read more

We dined in for burgers for two. There was something like string in the burger. I noticed before I ate it. The server never comes back to ask us how we were doing so I notified the manager. However they never said sorry or anything about it. I guess this joint is not for us. I forgot to take pics the plates before we ate so there is no proof but fries and onions rings are so small portions. The mushrooms burger was tasteless. He said it needs salt and pepper or something. I don't think we are going back. We have been eating there several times and always hit and miss with this place read more

I'm staying in the neighborhood tonight and went there for dinner. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and side salad. Based on past experience with this type of place I was expecting a few pieces of tired iceberg lettuce and a little grated carrot, but the salad was actually fresh with a variety of veggies. The sandwich was one of the best barbecue sandwiches I've had in Eugene. Very tasty and the bun didn't fall apart! The service was decent, considering it's Valentine's Day. My only disappointment was that I was in the mood for a Spanish coffee and they didn't have the fixings for it. (It's not on the drinks menu.) I come to Eugene a couple times a month, so this place is now on my radar. read more

We went to this place for lunch this weekend. Service was great, friendly. My wife had the Cobb Salad which she said was great. I had the chicken fried steak. It was tasty, but the steak itself was obviously frozen then reheated, They have a large selection of cheesecake, all of which are very good. They also have a very extensive selection of beef on tap. In spite of the chicken fried steak, I'd eat here again! read more

Super comfy casual spot. The staff is great, morning, noon or night! I've been there for all 3 meals and it's great.

We've been to the Barger Grill a number of times, and it's one of our favorites. Unfortunately the owner recently eliminated a few of our favorite menu items, like the cheese curds, southwest egg rolls, penne pasta with marinara, and coconut shrimp. They should bring those back. read more

New go to for plain good old fashioned bar food. Great prices and fresh quality on all of the food I have had. It's a nice place to cozy up to the bar for a drink or beer and a huge selection of appetizers. I haven't tried the burgers yet, that's coming soon. It's also o e if only a few place in the neighborhood to get drinks and food. The other is the Keg. What I like about Barger is it's a little more grill than pub and is family friendly. No pool, and lotto is way back by the kitchen. They do have over 10 tv's I'm excited to try to place once the Ducks start playing. There is a beaver sign outside, but I won't hold that against them too much. read more

The foods great,I always get good service and it's a sports bar so expect lots of TV's

Usually I would give a 4-5, but not today. items we ordered did not come as ordered. hubbies breakfast was overcooked. My Reuben came out w no cheese and a couple strands of sauerkraut w out thousand island. The remake came out with double the few strands of sauerkraut (browned), but not enough for any flavor on toasted not grilled bread. The entire bill showed up at $40. They did attempt to fix, but manager didn't even know it came w warm sauerkraut. Even condiments at the table were empty. Tots were good but sandwich at a minimum should have been comped, because it wasn't right ever. plus why would I come back now???? If they correct this issue, I will update my post. read more

I go there quite often. I ordered a cheeseburger with no onion and no mayonnaise when I got the burger it had mayonnaise and onion. I mentioned it to the server that took my order and her response was well. I put it in for none of that. Never offered to replace it or said she was sorry or anything for some. I've had any bad vibes when I've been there. read more

We were so excited to get a Grill close by. They seldom disappoint and always make it right. Their staff is attentive and conscientious. I've got a go to for morning/brunch and it's always perfect, 2 eggs over medium and 2 sausage patties. Sounds lame but you can judge a cook based on their tough with these two items. Always perfect. Shoutout to Kacie and Jessica for their genuine kindness. Jessica and cheesecake, you know if you know.. read more

Middle of the road Grille with some surprises. It's exactly the type of place you'd expect adjacent to a Winco grocery store. The food itself is mixed, my wife swears by the grilled chicken salads, and loves the chicken tenders, which I do admit are tender and crispy so kudos to you. Then there is the Mac and Cheese which my only complaint is not enough salt, which luckily is an easy fix typically through the implementation of Parmesan cheese. But while on the topic of complaining about menu items this is my biggest. I personally feel violated by the abomination of the chicken sandwich I received, while fiery in name it was not in flavor. The chicken Sandwich also failed me after two bites dissolving into a soggy mess that no longer had shape or form of its past glorious self. The sandwich had forgotten what it meant to stand tall and strong in the face of adversity, it's crispy skin buckled as it's bun melted inwards on itself. I'm sure it felt it's own disgrace, a type of disgrace where one can't look into the mirror anymore. (Mind you this was all on a delivery order that managed to take longer route to my house then necessary. We might visit them in person and enjoy food how it's meant to be served. I'm sure I'll be giving them an updated review. ) read more

I'm only giving this place three stars for one reason. I order to go and all I got were tots and clam chowder. I was told it would be 10 minutes, but I think someone forgot to get my order because 25 minutes later it was ready. The chowder was really good. The tots were really cold and I had to reheat them when I got home. Otherwise they were good too. read more

So disappointed in this grill and taphouse after a spontaneous decision to try someplace new. I had the fish and chips and once first arrived I was happy because they appeared crispy and fresh. Turns out very greasy, coated my mouth with grease I could not wash out. Upset stomach after getting home. My husband had the shrimp--he said no flavor and a waste of money. Our waitress never returned, we were never asked if we would like another beer/wine. They advertise a beer at the front door that they no longer serve. So disappointed as they were busy and usually that is a good indicator. Windows need to be cleaned. read more
