With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

It was thick slab corned beef, perfectly tender. I also got their pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. To be honest, the beer cheese wasn't my favorite...was a little gooopy and the texture wasn't great. But, the pretzel was fantastic. It has the salt, the chew, and it was a great size. I also got their colcannon. It was great! Creamy and delicious. I ordered their brown gravy too because I like gravy with my potatoes and it was hearty and a big side for the price. All in all, i definitely recommend the pint pot!

Big City Gaming and Home Team Kitchen- 4 stars…read more Big City Gaming is a Sports Bar in Eugene. I went here on the 4th of July which is hella less annoying than 4th of July in the Mission in SF aka my hood. So my beloved Lotus Garden aka vegan Chinese food that is fab that I would frequent in the day when in lived in Eugene was closed on the 4th despite their website saying they were open and walked there to find out they only are currently doing take out. Damn like Kendrick Lamar So I walk back to Big City Gaming and the friendly bartender tells me that they have an all vegetarian menu even though it isn't pure veg aka they have non veg too. It's all good baby, baby. I am starving after walking heaps in the hard sun like Eddie Vedder. So I get some water and check out the all veg menu. Upon the bartender's suggestion I go with the jackfruit tacos. They were quite alright aka two corn tortillas filled with generous portions of fajita style grilled jackfruit, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and our signature avocado crema sauce sprinkled with queso fresco. I decided to add vegan crema and non-dairy cheese for a buck. It hit the spot. I did feel like a fish out of water with all the screens showing baseball as basketball is my jam. I am a huge Warriors fan and sad we lost Donte yet he is going to the Knicks. Cool atmosphere with screens for sports and games such as shooting basketballs in the hoop etc. Recommended for sports night!

The service was amazing as well the owner even sat and talked with my wife and I for quite a while. I highly recommend coming here for UFC as well as they show all the PPVs here. It's also an awesome place to watch sports!!! Football watch parties every Duck game make it even better. There's always good energy without feeling hectic. But honestly, the best part of Sunriver Brewing is the people. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and impressively fast. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a game, they make the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. I eat here about 1-2 times per week, since it's become my local spot. Highly recommend for good food, good beer, and great vibes. The rotating beers always keep it fresh, and they do good seasonals like any brewery worth checking out. Would like to see more dark beers, but they always have good pale and ipas for casual beer sipping. They make excellent cocktails as well, so not just a spot for beer!

It's a pub/restaurant with a fresh, inviting space that includes a full service bar and a very friendly staff. Sitting at the bar stools is always a favorite vibe of ours. After getting our drinks ,I ordered the Pastrami melt. It's more like a Ruben and I paired it with the soup of the day, OMG! Always check out the soup...incredible! My wife had the Falafel burger. Yum was all she said between bites. We were very impressed with the food. The beer I selected was just what the doctor (J) ordered. I simply love a WC IPA! I picked up a six-pack on the way out;) Oh and I believe they have a back section for parties or overflow. You really can't ask for more. FYI, road trip adventures:)

A cute area with plenty of free parking spots Very spacious inside with sports playing in a low volume so you can easily talk to people Waiters are pretty attentive without too much pressure Slider is really good. Need to try it. Really juicy patty with caramelized onions Pretzel is kinda too soft for me but huge portion Fries is big portion as well. Really crispy on the outside So yeah, try all the happy hour appetizers if you can Main courses are not so exciting. The cottage pie is mostly mashed potato with a thin layer of meat. Not very big either Sausage is pretty bland as well. Not very quality sausage Brownie is very disappointing though. Very dry and chalky. How can someone messed up with brownie? But for the price and portion, still recommend to visit

The staff has always been (and still very much is) top notch in everything they do...but the food quality has dropped significantly to the point we can no longer justify the expensive. We've learned the changes began shortly after a new owner came in. Some of the changes we've noticed: The fish in the fish 'n chips is now buried in deep fried batter to the point I had to peel away most of the breading just to get to what little fish was there. The steak and eggs ($30) offers barely 4 ounces of steak, small heap of potatoes and two eggs...not enough to justify the price. They downgraded their organic, thick-cut pepper bacon to some odd, paper thin variety that is not very appealing and it would seem they no longer make their biscuits gravy in house! It now looks and tastes bland and pasty...industrialized. They used to have magnificent herbed gravy made from scratch so this is particularly disappointing. They no longer have real maple syrup. The prices remain that of an organic, farm-to-table but the food no longer qualifies and is very overpriced for what it is. I will really miss my Sunday mornings there but I just can't stomach these shortcomings. Very sad to see our favorite restaurant reduced to this state. If I could, I would give the staff 5+ stars and the food 1.
