We really like the Pour House! We used to go to trivia here a few years ago, and I remember the menu being a bit bigger with more selection. With trivia starting up again, we have been back consistently, and the food and service is pretty consistent. With the exception of one pretty badly understaffed night, they are usually very efficient. The staff is always friendly though, food is consistently good, and it's a great place to spend a few hours for trivia! I'm a huge fan of the jalapeño cheese sticks, and can't help myself from ordering them every time. They have a great club sandwich, and I like the hang 10 chicken sandwich too. The burgers are also a solid choice, I wish they had more ciders on tap, and more drink specials. Their current hot liquor drinks are tasty though! I'm also not a huge fan of their fries, but I know a lot of people love the battered fry style like they have. Overall though, it's a great place for some good bar food! read more

Let me start off by saying I am new to the area and I just moved to Eugene a few months back. I was living in Springfield and never knew of the poor house. I went to the Pour house loved the food and I loved the girls that were there I went there a second time because of the food different bartenders did not have very inviting energy then I find out that one of the bartenders spoke bad about me to another bartender keep in mind. I'm not from here and she judged me. Do not go to this place in case you're gonna get an order to take out, especially if you're a woman of color. Awful service. Waited over an hour for food on a slow Sunday morning. Serves "regulars" at the bar before anyone else. Said they were "playing catch up" but then people who ordered 20 minutes after us got food first? Hello? Do better. read more

This was the toughest prime rib I have ever had anywhere. We tried this last Thursday (7/10/25) both my friend and I ordered the Prime Rib and both found it extremely tough. With that said the the service was excellent and the drinks were great! I will give this another try, but I wont be trying the Prime Rib. read more

We went for their Tuesday trivia night and it was packed. Food was great (club sandwich), friendly wait staff, so much fun. It's a dive bar so don't expect anything fancy but great value for the fun and food. Would definitely return for trivia night or their karaoke night. read more

I've known about this place for years and always heard great reviews. Tonight we were invited here for our first time and so happy we were. This is a fabulous place! A very comfortable atmosphere. The music at a very nice level. Easy to have a conversation. Very clean. The food-sooooo many yummy choices. The food is fresh, fabulous French fries that are not greasy! Don't forget to try the fabulous smoked ranch dipat our table burgers, a wrap and a salad were enjoyed immensely And we all know to have the best food you need a wonderful server, and Jamie topped off this meal with her warm hospitality. One star is more than The Pour House deserves. First impression: home town bar, locals hangout, could be cool. Well, that is where the endearment ends. Our server, "Bo" was friendly at first but after she screwed up our orders (soup instead of salad), which came after the main course, she seemed to stop caring and never came back to our table. She never came back to refresh our drinks, yet served the tables around us. When the main course arrived (prime rib, green beans and baked potato), the potato and green beans were cold and meat warm. After being ignored, I actually had to go to the bar to get our check and even then it was a struggle to get "Bo's" attention. We left the money on the table and left. Good Afternoon So I was at The Pour House last night with my wife and friends for the Cinco de Drinko and you had some reps there from Goodlife giving away prizes one of the prizes being a bike. They told us if we buy any Good Life Beer we get a ticket to the raffle so I Bought a few and then the drawing came for the bike and they said since they didn't have enough tickets to raffle the bike off they would want til next Friday we were really disappointed since we were there for the bike and to have a good time. After they said they weren't going to raffle the bike your reps came over and basically told us sorry and we can still enter and try to win on Friday I was shocked they didn't stay or at least try to make up for what happened. I guess I just thought it was kinda rude to get us to drink your beer and then not give the people who were there and entered the raffle the chance to win. I feel bad for the bartender too she had to deal with all the pissed off customers. I would give it more stars but I feel they could of done something to make it up for not giving the bike away read more

I didnt have high hopes when I pulled into this place. But I was in the mood for a new experience and adventure. The place is well laid out, surprisingly updated, very well kept. Great menu...and my burger came out quick and tasting excellent. The patrons, most of whom at 3pm I assume were regulars, were very welcoming and made me feel at home as soon as I sat down. But by far, the best part of the experience was the outstanding sevice of a fabulous bartender, Jen!!! So wonderful. By far, the funniest woman I have met in a while. The Pour House has gone downhill over the last few months. It use to be a fun place to go, even though it was a much younger crowd. First, no more Jenga, no more karaoke, and no more dancing. The wait staff is also terrible since Renell and Drew no longer work there. My group of 12 arrived Saturday night, ordered brews, and played pool. We put $20 in the juke box only to have the bartenders turn the juke box off because they didn't like our music. Perhaps this is the direction the new ownership want to go in, but we will not be going there anytime soon. read more

Bartenders are super friendly and helpful while recommending drinks, there is pool and an outside area! The drinks are good and strong! For seeming like an "older" bar / tavern the place is surprisingly super clean. Definitely see a lot more trips here in the future! read more

Two stars is a bit generous for he kitchen. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. My complaint is that the 3 times I have ordered food there in the last year, what was served to me was not what was presented in the menu description. The first time was a pasta dish with some sort of alfredo sauce and it came in a red sauce. Their resolution to this was bringing me a side of Alfredo. The second adventure involved a club sandwich and it came WITHOUT BACON??? The resolution to that was dis-assembling my sandwich and bringing it back to me with bacon and cold fries. The 3rd mishap was the finger steaks. I was under the impression that finger steaks would come in small strips that could be eaten with your fingers. ( wiki defines finger steaks as 2 to 3 inches long by 1/2 inch wide) They cut an 8 oz steak into 3 pieces and covered it in BBQ sauce. Not finger food. The menu stated that it would be served with a horseradish dipping sauce which is why I ordered the meal. Unfortunately my "finger steaks" were covered in bbq sauce which gave me no option to enjoy my meal as I wanted to enjoy it. The thought of dipping bbq in horseradish, I find a bit gross. The menu said it was served " with choice of potato and horseradish dipping sauce". The guy I gave my dinner to said that the steaks were awesome. 3rd time is a permanent failure for me and finally worth a negative review. read more
