This is the best place in Lane County for burgers and sliders among other bar favorites as commented by our diverse group of foodies. I usually have to make burgers myself to get the level of quality and care not found in most restaurants. The burger and the sliders are better than I make. I'll admit it, I'm a burger snob. After talking with the owner, I understand now why the quality and flavor is exceptional. Fresh, local, never frozen beef, hand made patties. Fresh, grilled buns, fresh, properly ripened vegetables, house made sauce. Proper stacking order. All critical to the flavor. A friendly, attentive staff in a fun, entertaining atmosphere, all at excellent prices. The bar drinks were well enjoyed by our group as well as the beer choices. I had never been to this bar until last night and I really liked it. It was super clean, I was very impressed. They have two pool tables, darts (however they do need new darts), they have a lot of screens in good locations to watch sporting g events. Their poker games were really fun! The patio was super cute and shaded! The bartender was great at multitasking and her memory was wicked good. Would give 5 stars if they had full working dart sets to play with. read more

We stopped in on a recommendation from a friend in Springfield. They only serve an apparent breakfast on weekends which is a bit of an inconvenience since we also like the Prime Time Tavern. That said it was a worthwhile stop but we hesitated having anything too fancy the 1st time out so we settled for eggs, bacon and toast and it was very satisfactory. read more

We were staying next door at the Woodsman Country Lodge and got back from our all-day adventure checking out Crater Lake and other points and went in to get a Club Sandwich togo. I usually come here because my dad plays here once a month, Impulse is the name of his band if you must know. I order the BLT with fries and no mayo every time and I'm hesitant to order soda from them because they'll charge me 2.50 sometimes and free other times. My aunt says it's supposed to be free every time, they never charge her for some reason. So the last time I was there in December, my aunt got a free soda the same time I was charged for mine. I still don't understand, is it because I'm young and have more money in their opinion? I only have $8 to spend every time so I don't get it. read more

As stated in other reviews, the staff is super friendly, even if you're not a regular. The beer choices are great as well. Now for the food...I ordered fish-n-chips. I'll begin by talking about the slaw. I am picky about slaw. This had great flavor along with large pieces of cabbage. The best part is that every bite was crunchy. Giant fries or 'chips' accompanied the meal. They were seasoned well and really crispy. The battered cod was flaky and tasty. What a great meal and experience! read more

The bartender already knew what we wanted based on our previous visit. Quick, adequate service and a laid back atmosphere. Great specials, every night. Pool tables, live music on Fridays. It's also in a good location, away from downtown Eugene and Springfield, but still easy to get to from any major highway. It definitely has the Springfield atmosphere but it's inoffensive.
