Visited many times. Great spot to go for a tropical fruity adventure. Never had a bad drink from here. Friendly service is consistent. The decor is unique and unmatched. Great for groups. Tables, booths and bar seating available. Food trucks right outside if you're hungry.

Very cool tiki bar! Super dark inside, I thought my eyes would never adjust. Surprisingly they did, LOL. They have a cool selection of drinks, all were delicious. Service was pretty good.

Always a great place to go. Jamie was amazing! She has created a custom drink just for me that was the simply fantastic. Food trucks next door that are worth the stop.

I love tiki bars and this one fits the vibe with a cool twist. Loved monkey paw from the moment I stepped in. Plenty of seating, food trucks right outside with more seating, a pool table, and fun classic horror movie references throughout the decor and menu. Drinks were also yummy and fun to try! Like most tiki bars, the drinks were on the sweet side, but the bartender was very accommodating in making the drinks a little less sweet when I asked.

Monkey's Paw Tiki Bar is a nice, chill spot to hang out and relax. They've got a great outdoor setup with a good variety of food trucks out back, so there's always something new to try. The atmosphere is laid-back and fun, and the drinks are top notch. I went for my wife's birthday and they gave her a really cool birthday drink for free, which was a great touch! Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

So much more to rum than what you learned in college.

Stepping into the Monkey's Paw gave me the mini getaway I was craving. The decor was traditional tiki filled with fun pieces that were definitely collected with admiration. From the carved koa wood to fun lamps and vintage floats, this place is a stunning eye pleaser. The barkeep was top-notch. Warm and inviting. He made perfect tiki drinks. His knowledge of rum was thrilling. Ask to read the book about rum flights. They put together an array of fun information that will increase your thirst for rum. I tend to judge tiki bars on their Mai Tai, and their take on the classic Trader Vics did not disappoint. What a perfect blend of rums and house made orgeat. That's how you know you found your tiki place. Some nights they have live music, so you can get down to some pulp fiction surf classics. There are food trucks outside that you can bring in something to nosh. I can't wait to go back. You'll find a cozy corner to fall in love. What are y'all waiting for? Get in here.

Fun little fish tank in one of the seating areas.

This was a fun, chill place to grab a pre-dinner drink on our anniversary date. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming when we said it was our first time visiting. And we had the place to ourselves at 5 o'clock on a Monday. The cocktails are great and a little more affordable than what other places charge for a cocktail these days. I went with the 'painkiller' and I would order it again. We also opted for some nachos from Squachos and it was a great pairing with our drinks. I would visit here again for a pre-dinner cocktail or for a night out with friends.

I am a fan of Tiki bars and this place did not disappoint. I read about this place in the traveler's magazine and am so glad to visit this place. The place brings you into a different world from Main Street Springfield. This place does not serve food, but has food trucks outside its building. The drinks are great and has reasonable prices. Our bar tender was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Please come and visit this place the next time you are in the Springfield/Eugene area.

Love the way it is decorated, the variety of comfortable seating, and the drink selection of alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks. Very different from any other bar in the area. Service was pretty slow but it was a Friday night during a busy time.

This place was amazing. Took my son here for his 36th birthday. They have a flaming birthday drink they bring out that was enough for the 4 of us . Atmosphere was so much fun and ghoulish. Drinks were good and the customer service was amazing. Will definitely be back

This place is a hidden gem in Springfield. Great drinks. Great prices. Minor friendly until 8pm.

With the late November temps dropping and a forecast for ice fog, you might think you'd need to take a trip to the South Pacific to change your "latitude" in Springfield...but you'd be wrong. The Monkey's Paw is the reason why. And like any Tiki Bar worth its salt, when you walk through the door you'll be transported to a tropical, dimly lit, mysterious place with dangerous sounding drinks like The Monkey's Paw (this Tiki bar's namesake), Sidewinder's Fang and the Scorpion Bowl. And like any legit Tiki bar, the drinks are strong, shaken into existence with a blend of fervor and Kahuna sorcery. After one of these drinks, you'll be so convinced you're in some tropical place you might just expect a coconut to fall on your head. Mele Kalikimaka!

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

It was thick slab corned beef, perfectly tender. I also got their pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. To be honest, the beer cheese wasn't my favorite...was a little gooopy and the texture wasn't great. But, the pretzel was fantastic. It has the salt, the chew, and it was a great size. I also got their colcannon. It was great! Creamy and delicious. I ordered their brown gravy too because I like gravy with my potatoes and it was hearty and a big side for the price. All in all, i definitely recommend the pint pot!

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

With that said, it was very challenging to find modern songs as there were numerous songs that were not in English and some of the English songs were actually in a totally different style than what we are used to hearing here in the US. So if you are expecting karaoke like you would have in the local bar this is not the place. The karaoke rooms are large with plenty of couches and seating, there's a big screen that displays videos and the words, you're given two microphones and there's some fun lighting that happens. During our time there the air conditioner was not working in our room so it became really hot, but they moved us to another room which was really nice. We were there during karaoke happy hour which was $15 per person per hour so it does add up pretty quickly. Also, we were there on a Friday evening and we were the only ones there, when I asked the attendant at the front desk if this is normal, she said they're not very busy on the weekends but during the week they're very busy with the Asian population. They do sell alcohol, but it's a very limited menu, they did offer a magnum of Cook's champagne at $38 a bottle, which was steep, but what made it not worth it was the fact that it was room temperature. I don't think this is an establishment I will visit again, but I do wish them well as they put a lot of thought and money into their karaoke establishment.
