This is right next door to Subo Sushi and we placed our order then went to get a drink. They have indoor and outdoor seating and make delish drinks. They have a bunch of beers on tap, too. It was a sunny day but we sat inside and loved chatting with the bartender. I really liked the feel of the place and it had cool stuff on the walls and ceilings. Plus, did I mention the good drinks? They also make their own shrubs which they use in many of their drinks. They also have a large variety of non-alcoholic (zero proof) fun libations too. Definitely recommend!

Such a great vibe! Inventive drinks with a selection of house made shrubs and syrup. Today we got their margaritas machine drinks because today was over 100 degrees. Fantastic flavor! You can tell the staff cares... which says a lot in my opinion. 5 stars all around

Three yummy drinks - Three beverages are placed on a wooden table, with two being tall glasses of cocktails and one smaller glass of a darker drink, while people in the background use smartphones.

Loved this place! Great cocktails and we also had a yummy southwest salad from the food cart behind the building

This will definitely be a new go to spot for me. Such a fun vibe, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere. All the syrups and shrubs are made in house and are delightful. Our bartender was awesome and she quickly came up with great custom drinks for us based on just a shrub or syrup suggestion. There are two food carts currently which you can order from your table, subo sushi and Zandos. The inside obviously speaks for itself, but a new patio has been added out front! There's an outside area as well. Hard to choose where to sit!

The atmosphere is always so good here! I get a burger from Zandos and snag a seat and a beer at the bar. Very cool bartenders, always seem interested with what you're getting up to that day. Clean tables, good whiskey and well behaved dogs can be found here anytime

The amount of craftsman work the owners put into the place is insane. The atmosphere is stellar. The design is top notch. Love everything about it. The drinks were a good pour! Not your measured out watered down garbage you find elsewhere. They even make their own organic syrups for mixers. There is a food cart that will open out back and they share the building with Subo so food options available. The owner was amazing and told us all about the decor. I'm really excited for this new place and will be a frequent visitor for sure.

Delicious Drinks - Two tall glasses of lemonade with lemon wedges and straws sit on a wooden bar counter, with a bar and shelves in the background.

What a fabulous bar. Love the style, tasty drinks made by a very sweet bartender. can't wait to go in the summer, they have a beautiful setup both in door & outdoor. Highly recommend going to check it out!

It is super moody and dark inside in the best way, and the atmosphere feels very hidden and intentional. We tried a bunch of the small plates and every single one was delicious. I loved my cocktail, and I believe I ordered the Bee's Knees. It was so good. Overall, this place is a great experience. I would totally come back the next time I am in Eugene.

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

The profile looked pretty cool so we decided to go there for a drink. Once inside, it was pretty dark which is typical for a Tiki Bar. The decor was very good and there was a lot of it around. My fave was the mermaid skeleton above our seats. The drinks options were plentiful and they even had jello shots for a bargain price (we had a few of these for good measure!). I had The Monkey's Paw classic drink and another in our party had The Invisible Man drink. Each was lovingly prepared by the bartender who was super cool with the prep and conversations we had with him. I loved walking around and looking at all the decor on the walls and ceiling. There's a lot to see. There's even a door that leads to a courtyard with several food trucks ready to serve you. There is a stage near the entrance for bands and a small dance floor. I would love to return one evening to check out the atmosphere and do a little boogeying! Give this place a try. It's a well done Tiki Bar and one of the better ones I've been to.

I've lived here for around 5 years, and another 15 years up in Salem and this little restaurant is a gem in every respect. I've been to Rye at least 4 times since moving here. I had heard about it from friends and so my partner and I first tried it out and were highly impressed with the food, the servce and the ambiance. The menu is just a bit limited but between the specials and the menu offerings, there was plenty to choose from. Above all, what they do, they do very well. I and my partner ate at Rye three nights ago and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience in every way. AMBIENCE... The dining room is terrific. Lots of dark wood. The lighting of the room is especially conducive to privacy but not isolation. Inasmuch as it was raining to beat the band when we arrived, entering felt like a welcoming respite. The patrons' chatter was subdued but clearly they were having a great time. FOOD... We ordered cocktails (I enjoyed a Cocchi Rye whiskey cocktail which was delicious. The French onion soup I ordered was also very tasty and loaded with mozzarella atop the cup. I then dived into a "special" plate of a Chinook salmon fillet, finished perfectly and sitting on a bed or pureed squash. Excellent, I thought. Afterwards, we shared some sort of fruity pastry, sharing with two forks. SERVICE... From where I sat I could watch the bar activity, even the service window into the kitchen allowed me to watch all the activity. Our server was very efficient and cheerful and engaging without being overbearing in any way. AFTERTHOUGHTS: I will be coming back, of course. Rye is where you want to go to have a very good time eating out. You're not going to spend an arm and a leg to eat there but Rye is definitely not Denny's. I think this was my fourth trip there and all four times I felt thoroughly satisfied in every way.
