Bar. Yes that's a magnifying glass
    Tait L.

Loved my experience - great liquor selection and fantastic bartender, nice touches from the retro water glasses to beautiful draft beer taps. I wish there were more meat options on the food side(I eat chicken and fish and the only fish is fried) but still just wonderful. I did get a salad and Erin recommended adding bacon which o did and it was a splendid suggestion. Apparently you can add bacon to anything on the menu... And there's a giraffe. Yeah, a giraffe.... Wallace. Erin was my bartender and she was splendid so I hope you get to experience her skill and bright spirit

Love this spot! The drinks are excellent, and they have a great selection of alcoholic, low-ABV and alcohol-free drinks, so there are delicious options for everyone. The decor is fun, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. It feels classy but not pretentious. A great spot to grab a drink and a light bite. I got two excellent cocktails: a martini with apple-infused gin, and a fruity negroni. My partner had two grapefruit-y mocktails. We split "chips and dip" which were perfectly crispy, light, delicate waffle potoato chips, plus trout crème fraîche and roe. We'll be back!

It's okay. Drinks are pretty acceptable, menu has super small text so you get the fun of having a magnifying glass to read it. Price is a bit high for average drinks. Bar patrons here are quieter so far, will update this review on further visits as I get a feel for the general vibe of the patrons

Excellent cocktails! Service was great. Also loved the beer selection. Can't wait to come back and try the popcorn!

What a spectacular little cocktail bar! I was excited to see an upscale bar open near the downtown area and this spot has SUCH cute decor, delicious craft drinks, and great vibes. I especially love the gigantic giraffe on the wall. Service was friendly and helpful, but most importantly the cocktails were very well balanced and delicious. The ingredients and seasonal picks are well thought out. My group had 2 rounds while we were waiting on a table for brunch next door at Lion&Owl and everyone agreed that they loved their drinks! Also, who knew that the bar is connected to Lion&Owl? Makes it convenient when you're grabbing a drink before/after food. I'll definitely be back!

We had a nice experience here. The food was all great - the rolls were great and the butter was very flavorful, brisket was tender and the crab cake has great flavor. Service was quick and the whole space was very nice.!

Such a vibe. Tried two cocktails and both had great flavors and beautifully presented. We decided to get food as well and the burger was very juicy and tasty. Great service as well. We will be back!

We sat outside for a small bite and coctail, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. We got the tuna tartar and a deviled egg. The coctails were spot on and made with creativity. The menu is at least partially shared with lion and owl

When we walked in we were welcomed warmly. The updates and upgrades they have done to the space a chic and elevate the ambiance. Their drink menu is thoughtful and complimentary of the food on the menu. I highly recommend the deviled eggs!

So excited for Lemon & Olive! It's no surprise the team that runs Lion and Owl (the best restaurant in town) has opened the best cocktail bar in town. This stylish cocktail bar has a great ambiance and even better drinks. My wife and I snuck in a quick date to Lemon & Olive on a Thursday night. The ambience is great and the drinks are even better. My wife got the "Hot Grill Summer" which is a fun sour with bourbon, hot honey, grilled peach, homemade limoncello, and more. I got the "Maize" which has Mezcal, Nixta, cilantro and pablano syrups, lime, and more. Both were delicious, elevated variations on drinks that felt familiar. We can't wait to go back to try more of the menu and the food!

Definitely an acquired taste, but I loved the creativity behind it. The Key Lime Rum Cocktail was bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, with a tropical twist that was smooth and flavorful without being overly sweet. It is super moody and dark inside in the best way, and the atmosphere feels very hidden and intentional. We tried a bunch of the small plates and every single one was delicious. I loved my cocktail, and I believe I ordered the Bee's Knees. It was so good. Overall, this place is a great experience. I would totally come back the next time I am in Eugene.

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

The profile looked pretty cool so we decided to go there for a drink. Once inside, it was pretty dark which is typical for a Tiki Bar. The decor was very good and there was a lot of it around. My fave was the mermaid skeleton above our seats. The drinks options were plentiful and they even had jello shots for a bargain price (we had a few of these for good measure!). I had The Monkey's Paw classic drink and another in our party had The Invisible Man drink. Each was lovingly prepared by the bartender who was super cool with the prep and conversations we had with him. I loved walking around and looking at all the decor on the walls and ceiling. There's a lot to see. There's even a door that leads to a courtyard with several food trucks ready to serve you. There is a stage near the entrance for bands and a small dance floor. The menu is just a bit limited but between the specials and the menu offerings, there was plenty to choose from. Above all, what they do, they do very well. I and my partner ate at Rye three nights ago and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience in every way. AMBIENCE... The dining room is terrific. Lots of dark wood. The lighting of the room is especially conducive to privacy but not isolation. Inasmuch as it was raining to beat the band when we arrived, entering felt like a welcoming respite. The patrons' chatter was subdued but clearly they were having a great time. FOOD... We ordered cocktails (I enjoyed a Cocchi Rye whiskey cocktail which was delicious. The French onion soup I ordered was also very tasty and loaded with mozzarella atop the cup. I then dived into a "special" plate of a Chinook salmon fillet, finished perfectly and sitting on a bed or pureed squash. Excellent, I thought. Afterwards, we shared some sort of fruity pastry, sharing with two forks. SERVICE... From where I sat I could watch the bar activity, even the service window into the kitchen allowed me to watch all the activity. Our server was very efficient and cheerful and engaging without being overbearing in any way. AFTERTHOUGHTS: I will be coming back, of course. Rye is where you want to go to have a very good time eating out. You're not going to spend an arm and a leg to eat there but Rye is definitely not Denny's.
