Easily the best meal I have had in Eugene. A classy restaurant with actual table service and a romantic atmosphere is hard to come by in this town, but Party Bar delivers. No QR codes, no electronic tellers, no serving yourself. The wait staff are great, knowledgeable, and fun. We went on Valentine's Day, and even with the place absolutely buzzing, the servers and kitchen did not skip a beat. I could tell they may have been understaffed based on how many tables our server was working (including the host stand), and yet, we had an absolutely lovely time. I wish I remembered her name but major kudos to her for the lovely service and not showing any stress on the busiest of nights. We had to wait just a tad long for drinks, but it did not bother us much. The menu is incredible and enticing. I'm from NOLA and I recognized the authentic influence from a mile away. Many dishes tasted like home to me, especially the cabbage rolls and cornbread. The duck cassoulet was stunning. And another standout fave was the kale salad - perfect crunch and freshness that we needed to cut through some of our richer dishes. We finished off the meal with bananas foster basque cheesecake. As a NOLA native, bananas foster is my entire childhood - it immediately brought back memories of my dad and I making and serving hundreds together for our local church community. Definitely a meal that made me homesick! The wine list is wonderful, one of the best we have seen in the area. Cocktails were also lovely, and I especially appreciated the long mocktail list! (Not just fancy juices trying to pass as mocktails, but actual crafted mocktails). I wanted to eat everything. We almost did. But alas, we will need to come back for muffalettas and fried chicken sliders shortly...

Wonderful food, solid oyster rotation, and they've got a staff and an owner who truly cares about giving folks a good experience. Would highly reco the Hama Hama oysters, Mac and chees (which has the perfect ratio of cheese to breadcrumbs) and the collard greens. Just nailed it.

    5 different varieties of oysters.

I love this spot and I'm back again. 5 star experience once again. Great service. Fast turnaround from the kitchen. I tried one of each of the available fresh oysters, and I ended up ordering 4 more Virginicas. Sooooo buttery and delicious. The burger and the squash fondue were outstanding. My friend got the chicken slider and ordered a second one because he liked it so much. I also got the deviled eggs which were solid. I don't like to drink, but I love their nonalcoholic rosé. I get to enjoy the taste of wine with my meal without the consequences. My friend got a delicious cocktail and I'm not a fan of hard liquor, but I took a sip of his and it was good.

I came to Party Bar thinking it was just a cocktail bar, but next time I stop by it will definitely be for a full meal instead, because even just trying the tots, I'm sold. They were SO CRISPY and the apple ketchup was unique and went great with the potatoes, almost felt like a tater-tot latke. Also got two oysters, and I really appreciate the varieties they had on hand. Service was great, and our waiter pointed out some cocktails based on our liquor preferences that they thought we would like. Total for 3 cocktails, tots, and oysters was $60 before tip.

Party Bar totally lived up to the hype. When my wife and I moved here from southern CA a couple years, we were looking for awesome food. Some friends said that Party Bar might have the best food in Eugene/Springfield. We weren't sure what the competition was at that point, but we've since tried out a number of other higher tier establishments in the area. If Party Bar isn't the best food we've had (there are a couple other places that also create some superb eats), it's definitely in the top 3 for us. It was super easy to make a reservation using Tock, and we locked in a patio table because the evenings have been beautiful. Wait staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful even though we could tell that they were pretty busy. We decided that we were going to sample a bunch of appetizers and sides rather than going for the entrees. I was hesitant because I have a pretty large appetite, but we both left plenty full. We got the pickle plate, the buffalo smoked jojos, the albacore tostada, the green goddess salad, and Mac & cheese. I also got a hard root beer because why not? The flavors of each dish were so complex, and each bite was similar yet distinct. We agreed that we could just keep eating because each bite as filled with so much nuance. Lastly, I think that what sets Party Bar apart from the other top restaurants in Eugene (IMO) is the value. Without the drinks, we spent about $50 on an excellent meal. Adding in a cocktail and a glass of wine, our total came out to $75 before tip. That's insane for the quality of food. To be sure, there are definitely items on the menu that would let us rack up the bill, but most of their food felt almost underpriced. We'll definitely be back soon!

Failed my finals then came here with my roommates and I cheered up. The chicken sliders were so good and the service was top notch. Nothing beats sitting outside with the boys downing a bottle of wine and sipping a happy hour martini

We visited Eugene and made a reservation at this place. The interim was well decorated with nice art and dim lighting. The wait staff was attentive but also left you alone and communicated that our drinks would take some time. My drink was on the strong side but a nice old fashioned. The menu did not have a huge selection but had some interesting flavor combinations. The deviled eggs were good but nothing extra special. The burger was really good and I got the smoked jojos as a side. I was not really into the apple ketchup but the jojos were very tasty on their own. A unique place with some local charm. Highly recommend.

The ambience is there, the cocktail menu hits it, and they have some good small plates. I wish their menu was a little larger or that they had some more vegetarian options though. They've got some delicious salads, unique appetizers that you can't get other places in Eugene (like oyster shooters or squid ink black garlic bread), and an extensive wine list. It's worth checking out and enjoying the vibe!

The typical Eugene encounter lifespan is four years, from the time one's kid enters University of Oregon, to the time the kid graduates. Grateful we are, then, that we got turned on to Party Bar early in the pandemic, when our son was but a lowly sophomore. Excellent spot. Gorgeous interior with a "secret" back room wine shop and bar. Al fresco dining out front, and i between, a beautiful room sprinkled with knowledgeable staff. Craft cocktails and an outstanding wine program. And on the menu: Oysters! And a kitchen with a sense of adventure and joy, where a modest tater tot might sit gleefully on a plate alongside a lusty foie gras. Delightful! Party Bar was chosen by my chef wife and my laid back UO son many times during our four year stint in The Huge, and most telling, it was chosen as our final dining spot ever in Eugene. Long my Party Bar reign!

    Focaccia pimento grilled cheese

One of our favorite date night spots in town, Party Bar never disappoints. Their cocktail program is always creative and there is something for every palette. This time I enjoyed the Tiger's which was a perfect blend of warm flavors like vanilla with a bit of smokiness from the scotch. Their deviled eggs are always perfection and I definitely recommend adding the crispy chicken skin. Their fried chicken slider is always a tasty bit. Quite a selection of oysters, we enjoyed the Shigoku this time, sweet and not too large. We tried the gnocchi tots, which were fun and different, I especially loved the white BBQ sauce that was like a combo of ranch and BBQ. For our main dishes we got the lamb meatloaf sandwich and the pimento focaccia grilled cheese. The lamb is one of our favorite dishes there, it's consistently a standout part of the meal. The grilled cheese was just ok. I've had a lot of pimento cheese in my life so I was excited to see it on a menu. But the bread was overly buttered and there was a lot of non-pimento cheese that took away from the dish. It was a nice thick bread, but the focaccia component didn't really come through. For dessert we got a mini honey pie and the mini donut bites with passion fruit curd. The curd was excellent and really brought bright flavor to the dish but the donut were way over fried and had a savory corndog taste. The mini pie was excellent though and rich salty honey flavor, it was a unique variation on a chess pie. A tip for busy nights, you can call as you are driving over to put your name on the list and they will give you an estimated wait then!

    Kale salad

I've been wanting to try Party Bar for a while now after seeing it on Yelp and reading their great reviews. I called in a takeout order and they were super friendly and accommodating over the phone. The food was ready to go once I got there. It is a bit tricky to find parking around this area especially on weekends. Something to note. The inside was cute, but pretty dark. I was really excited about the cornbread and it smelled delicious. Unfortunately it wasn't my favorite and didn't have a sweet taste that traditional cornbread has. It was also 7$ for a very small portion. If you like a more savory bread than you may like this but otherwise I would skip it. The kale salad I got was delicious though. The dressing was amazing and I really like how they used breadcrumbs instead of croutons. Overall, this spot was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here and it is on the pricier side.

We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole.
