    Side salad with blue cheese

I really wanted to like this place because the server was so friendly and accommodating. I asked what ciders they had on tap, which were blackberry and pineapple. The server recommended that I try them mixed together. I did and it was awesome! The fried zuchinni sticks were delicious. They were crispy and hot and never got soggy. Everything else was okay. For dinner, we each got the prime rib special which came with the choice of soup or salad and a side. The loaded baked potato was great. However the prime rib was okay and the au jus was separated and greasy. Our server disappeared after our food came and a couple other servers came to check in on us but when we asked for a to go box, extra water and the check, we ended up waiting and waiting. Ultimately we had to ask our server again when she came back to check on us. All and all I would have rated them higher except that I woke up with extreme intestinal distress during the night after eating here, followed by stomach sensitivity the next day. Neither of which could be attributed to anything else I ate that day. I am skeptical to eat here again.

Just moved to Springfield from Eugene and this place is right around the corner from me so I decided to try it for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I had the Monterey ckicken sandwich and it was delicious, my friend had the French dip and said it was the best he has had in a long time. Even the iced tea was great with a nice strong tea flavor! I will be going back and will highly recommend it to my family and friends.

We come here weekly. The foods always fresh and good. The OMG is my fav! But you can't go wrong with any of the food.

Great Bloody Mary's. The service and food is great!

The drinks were so good there was not one drink we got that we did not love. Lots of cute decor. Tons of seating. The pool table was free to use which was nice. Monkey's Paw feels like a temporary pop-up…read morestore: there's plenty of seating, but it feels impermanent as if they hadn't fully moved in. The decor feels arbitrary and hasn't grown in the 3 years between my visits. The bartop is tiny despite plenty of wide open space in the venue, adding to that empty feeling. But it's the only tiki bar for miles and it has a unique tiki + horror theme that I appreciate: emphasizing creepy mugs, playing vintage Godzilla on the TV, and a collection of drinks named after monsters. They also have custom mugs for sale, which is always awesome to see. My partner enjoyed her Chinese Mai Tai, but my Bride of Frankenstein tasted like light cream. The service was good. They were professional and personable and bantered well with everyone around the bar. There seemed to be plenty of regulars making the rounds in the early afternoon. So if you're in Eugene and want a tiki drink, this is the place to go.

Started with beers and a southwest egg roll order. We ordered because the server said it is running about 30 minutes for orders. The egg rolls came out and they were good. Our food arrived a little earlier than we were told. My wife and I got a perfectly cooked junior hamburger. Others got the southwest fiesta salad and the queso burger. Everyone liked their meal. Really nice sports bar with a lot of tv options.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak with poached eggs and gravy on the side (because I planned on taking half home and wanted to preserve the breading on the steak). The panko coating on the steak had me intrigued, but it was great! The hashbrowns were pretty tasty, although they could have been crispier. The biscuit was decent, but the flavor of the gravy and the steak brought it all together. The quality reminded me of another sports bar here in Bend that has really good breakfast/brunch foods. I can't really speak to the other dishes but my wife and daughter were very happy with their French Toast and Waffle. I'd def stop back in if I was in the area.

I love the vibe that I immediately felt walking in. We were greeted with friendly staff and seating was available immediately. It was a Saturday afternoon. The food was scrumptious. Great Spot for a Family Gathering with Tasty Food and a Few Surprises…read more My wife's brother organized a family birthday celebration here for 11 a.m. on a Sunday--right when they open. We had a group of 12, celebrating five July birthdays. The restaurant is located in the charming downtown area of Springfield, OR, right on the corner of 4th Street. While there's no dedicated parking, we had no trouble finding street parking nearby and arrived in several vehicles right at opening. We were seated in a cozy area toward the back, near the brewery. Two large tables easily accommodated our group, and although a couple of other parties arrived around the same time, the space didn't feel crowded. Our server was friendly and attentive, quickly bringing menus, water, and taking drink orders. We started with appetizers--tater tots, fried Brussels sprouts, and garlic herb fries--all of which arrived promptly and were delicious. We placed our entrée orders shortly after, and while the food came out over a 5-10 minute window, everything looked great and tasted just as good. The menu leans toward the pricier side, with burgers ranging from $18-$22 and mac and cheese at $17 (plus $5 for pulled pork), but the quality was solid. One small surprise: we were charged 50 cents for two to-go containers (25 cents each). It's a minor fee, but still unexpected given the overall pricing. All in all, it was a pleasant experience with good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and great company. Just be prepared for slightly higher prices--and a charge for your leftovers.
