Chocolate chip pancakes (full stack) and the Dragonfruit Parfait special!
    Aidan S.

There's something special about having a hometown cafe with an atmosphere this charming and welcoming! The cafe is run by an incredibly pleasant staff, the food is too notch (I had the best parfait I've ever had here, I never knew I loved dragonfruit this much!) the service is fast, the prices are very reasonable, and they have a solid menu of various palettes, from pancakes and eggs to mozzarella sticks and burgers! An immensely underrated dining spot that's open first thing in the morning, and they even give an early bird discount! Thank you so much for being awesome, corner cafe!

Country breakfast with real maple syrup

Came in for breakfast around 830 on a Friday to a busy place with friendly and fast staff. Good coffee and real maple syrup! Minimal single use plastics. Butter is in a plastic cup and cream for coffee is in plastic singles. Get rid of all single use plastics and you have a 5 star cafe.

Corner cafe is a very humble place to grab a nice breakfast and lunch. Today was my first time there ever. I was pleased with the good service and wide selection of menu items. Their food and drinks are pretty basic, not too much flavor and/or seasoning, but they use fresh ingredients and it gets the job done for the price.

Was there for breakfast. Food is good, a bit pricey. Had to wait forever for a coffee refill. Wouldn't stop us from going back.

As soon as you enter the driveway it is the building on the right. For some reason our GPS was showing that it was a different building that wasn't able to be accessed by car. There is ample parking and a very relaxed dress code. There is a lounge/lobby area outside of the restaurant with comfortable seating and tables so you can grab a drink and wait for a table if needed. They do take reservations. The dining room has several tables and even a rather large table for a party of 12 in the center. There is a bar area with high top seating as well. There was live music (this was a weekend evening) that was great. The view from the restaurant is great as it overlooks the golf course. All staff were very attentive and helpful. We were seated immediately by the hostess and the server greeted us quickly. Throughout our visit, the staff were wonderful. The drinks were great. Some crafty cocktail concoctions are on the menu. The only concern was the whisky ice cube served in the sidecar - easily able to remove it though so no harm done (it was tasty). The apps were good too. The mushroom soup was delicious and get the homemade meatballs! Highly recommend - ask for extra bread to use all of the delicious sauce served with them. The calamari is great as it also has shishito peppers and cherry peppers served with it and the flavor combination of those three are great. The flatbread was also good. Overall, very good food. Wonderful option for tasty food and lovely views.

I also love their seasonal specials. Right now they have a limoncello cake that is absolutely scrumptious. Another plus is its BYOB too, but they offer spirts too. The staff is friendly and always happy to see us when we stop in, which makes the experience feel even more special. Whether you go for lunch or dinner, the ambiance of the old bank building sets the stage for a relaxing and memorable meal. The heavy metal vault door is purposely left open so the interior side of the door is on display, and therefore all the intriguing locking components of yesteryear can be viewed. Our waitress was excellent, a very cheerful person. Started off with a tasty coconut shrimp appetizer with a nice Thai chili dipping sauce. A California Reuben that followed was just so-so. The turkey meat was thin, processed slices and the bread was pretty plain. Since this sammie comes with coleslaw inside of it, the panini treatment misses the mark. Also ordered a cup of clam chowder, found it average.

We started with the crab bisque, fried flounder sandwich with crab fries, chicken piccata and we took the chocolate cake home for later. Everything we had at the cafe was made to order and delicious, with obvious attention to presentation. The soup had nice chunks of crab, but a little less creamy than what I was used to. The flounder sauce and fish was very yummy, but I wished I had more of that sauce on the side. The filet was ever so slightlyyyyyy overcooked. My wife found the chicken too thick, thinking it could've been pounded a little thinner and with more capers. Other than that, she found the dish delightful. It would have been a five star night except for these nit picky issues.

The staff, the tiny dining room, the ambiance: all on point. What a pleasure.
