I went with the cream of mushroom soup which they add crab meat in. It was fantastic! I also chose the hamburger with a side of fries. The hamburger was cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and crispy. My dining partner went with a steak and fries and he enjoyed every bite. Gina was good with describing the dessert so we went with the bomb. It really was the bomb! She was attentive with Phil filling up our waters and making our visit fun. Looks like the building is an old bank building so you could see the inside of the vault which was interesting.

The heavy metal vault door is purposely left open so the interior side of the door is on display, and therefore all the intriguing locking components of yesteryear can be viewed. Our waitress was excellent, a very cheerful person. Started off with a tasty coconut shrimp appetizer with a nice Thai chili dipping sauce. A California Reuben that followed was just so-so. The turkey meat was thin, processed slices and the bread was pretty plain. Since this sammie comes with coleslaw inside of it, the panini treatment misses the mark. Also ordered a cup of clam chowder, found it average.

The ambience is clean and casual and the large windows bring in plenty of natural lighting. The "healthy start" platter may be named with tongue-in-cheek as it features two generously thick and smoky slices of bacon and two eggs but the grilled mushrooms, avocado, and roasted potatoes made for an awesome brunch! Their giant pancakes are probably the best any restaurant can offer - better than many so-called "pancake houses." A stack of three is probably more than anyone can finish! The chipotle chicken panini was also more than I could eat at one sitting, the serving was so generous. This is not "fast food." Everything is cooked to order and is brought to the table when it is ready, so everyone may not be eating at the same moment, but everyone will be served a fresh dish, not one sitting under a heat lamp for 10 minutes while the rest of the order is finished. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had just received a large delivery of fresh produce that had yet to be stocked and I have to tell you that Flowers is ordering some high quality produce to serve its customers.

The place was clean and popping on a Sunday morning. A Xmas tree decorated with local hero's for the fourth, a chalk board with the specials of the week, and a comforting regular hum of discussion. Food was delicious. I like my scrapple a little thinner and a little crispier. Thick cut bacon. Eggs runny. Potatoes straight. Top tier pancakes reminiscent of childhood. Can't really complain about anything and the value was pretty darn good at $55 for 5 people. Cash only. Come prepared (although they do have an atm on site)

Good morning everyone,…read more Let me start by saying I've lived in this area since 2015, and I'm honestly upset I didn't discover this place sooner. I'm not that old, but the nostalgia this restaurant brings back reminds me of waking up with my family and my father taking us out for a great breakfast. The staff here are simply amazing. It's easy to see why people keep coming back. The restaurant has been in operation since 1975, and that alone tells you they're doing something right. Back to the staff--these ladies and gentlemen treat you like you've been a regular since day one. Today, I'm seated in a small booth by the entrance, and as someone who enjoys people-watching, I've been paying attention to how they interact with customers. They truly have a gift for conversation. The small, personal exchanges they have with each guest show a real attention to detail. For some customers, they know personal details--asking about family members and sharing genuine concern. For others just passing through, they take the time to learn where they're from, how long they're staying, and wish them well on their visit. They work seamlessly as a team. Everyone steps in to support one another, and no one misses a beat. It's a well-oiled machine, and their experience clearly shows. I'm not sure how long some of them have been here, but larger companies could definitely learn a thing or two from this level of teamwork and service. They are attentive, friendly, and professional. Lastly, the food--absolutely outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, and I've tried several different meals without a single disappointment. And the coffee? Excellent. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. If you're looking for a welcoming, people-friendly atmosphere with great food and even better coffee, I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.
