I don't know if they had to retrain people or if they hired whole new staff, but whatever the current staff is doing keep it up! Clean inside and out. Friendly smiling staff. Bought one bag of coffee and ordered a hot caramel macchiato (my fave) and a ham & Swiss croissant. The order was filled very efficiently. Sat outside to enjoy. Easy parking and this location has drive thru. The food and coffee were delicious, especially the croissant as the ham and Swiss was rolled into the pastry rather than the croissant being cut open. All quality ingredients. As soon as I told him there were two drinks missing and what they were, this BOY started HUFFING, PUFFING, and ROLLING his eyes. It is SO great to have a Starbucks in West Grove. This is a nice place to study or meet friends. There is ample seating and it is fairly large inside. There is also a drive thru, which is great at this location. The downside is that the service is pretty slow. If you're used to going to Starbucks in cities, you'll feel like everything is happening in excruciatingly slow motion. But in the end the coffee is exactly the high quality expected from Starbucks, so it is worth the wait. read more

Cashier was not at all friendly, terse would describe him well. No thank you and our order sat getting cold at the pick up counter, because no one notified us it was ready. This was my first time going to a Starbucks location that has a drive-thru. It was mid-day so it wasn't too busy. The space is pretty big inside and there was also outdoor seating. The workers seem very attentive and didn't give any attitude, which is a plus for me. The quality of my drink was alright, I mean it is Starbucks, and it always depends who makes your drinks for you. However, as a non-regular to this location, I can taste the difference in the drink I normally order at my local Starbucks. I ordered a grande iced green tea with six pumps of classic instead of the normal four. I wasn't able to taste the green tea- it seem like they ran out of the green tea and had to dilute it with the filtered water while they were making more green tea for later on. The extra two pumps of classic overpowered the diluted green tea, if the tea wasn't so diluted, I SHOULD have been able to taste the proportionate drink of both the green tea and sweetness. read more

I use Starbucks all the time (probably too much) but this was my first experience with this store and with a Starbucks drive thru. First off, there's just no reason in the world that a person should sit in a drive thru with 4 cars for over ten minutes. I've made drinks, it can definitely be done faster. Secondly, I got a grande iced caramel macchiato with "extra, extra, extra caramel and an extra shot of espresso". I got all that extra caramel because it balances out the bitterness of the espresso. Normally they'll just put it all inside the cup and therell end up being 1/4-1/2" of caramel on the bottom; it's perfection. But here they just put a tiny bit on top of the whipped cream and that was it. So not even the normal amount of caramel, nonetheless extra, extra, extra. It may seem like a stupid thing but it stops me from liking the coffee I just paid $5 for and heavens know I'd already spent too long there to go back around or inside the store to get it fixed. I've been to this Starbucks numerous times and this is consistently one of the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I don't think the manager there has any concept of time. I've also repeatedly found the half-n-half container empty. The Starbucks at Longwood (15 minutes away) is run like a well oiled machine. Drive-thru Starbucks is such a nice option for Jennersville. There are two baristas here that are exceptional in the mornings. The remainder of the staff is also very friendly. Coffee is always good, and hot. I love skinny vanilla lattes, but have had many other staples of the Starbucks menu at this store, and they are all good. Food options here are also fresh and tasty.
