The actual building

This cafe is basically a small local coffee shop where people can do work. There is a bathroom, free WiFi, and printer paper. I ordered a large caramel frappe and double chocolate muffin and was sadly disappointed. The frappe tasted so fake and the muffin was dry. I don't know if maybe I came on a bad day but I will not be coming here again. Not to mention the prices were a little high for what I got. Also, we came here because of the previous reviews talking about how great the rolled ice cream was. When we got to the cafe there was NO ICE CREAM!!! It turns out that the man who used to make the rolled ice cream there left about a year ago which was when the review I read came out. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that the service was good.

Good coffee. Only went here because I was at the book store but I was very much satisfied with the coffee. Service was a little slow.

First off, this place is really small. If they fill up, they will not take phone orders. Secondly…read morethey used to have reasonable prices. I think it was 13/14$ for a cheesesteak and fries. Now with the tax, they want 20$ for an above average cheesesteak. And it is not a big one at that. Also, their kids menu is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place. The prices are too high, this is on top of the fact that if they are full they will not accept orders even over the phone.

Snatcher's is great. I mean, man what a name. Sitting outside gives you not only creek visibility,…read morebut also creek sounds. Yes, you get the sounds of a forest stream in the background, which - let's face it - we all find oh so soothing. It's up there with sitting by the window on a lazy summer afternoon with rain lightly pattering outside. That patter, you know the one. The food is, well, it's creek food. Food that you could envision eating by a creek. That means fried haddock, black and bleu bacon cheese burgers, and the driest looking cheese steak I've ever laid eyes on. Oh, and patty melts. If you can look past the mosquitos, which I suppose you could say is part of the charm, then Snatcher's Creekside is a perfect catch. As an added bonus to everything you've just read, I have just three words: off street parking. This is actually huge since the further you go north on Main Street, the parking gets scarce and private lots charge a buttload. Also, how can you not like their motto? "Hey, we're Snatcher's. Come 'n git it." How I adore small town charm. Ok, that's not really their motto, but I swear I saw it on a t-shirt when I was down there.

BLUF: Go check it out, you won't regret it…read more TLDR: OMG I'm so glad I stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop on cozy Main Street in North East, MD. It was just me, so I only got half a dozen donuts with a knife so I could taste them all! I tried: Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, Maple Bacon, Toasted Coconut, Chai, and Fluffernuter. Let me start by saying the cake part of these donuts is just perfect. Not too dense, lightly crisp on the outside, and insanely fresh. The toppings might sound over the top, but they weren't. They were perfectly subtle to add a hint of flavor without a dose of diabetes. And the coffee- such unique lattes both in name and flavors. I went with Davy Joey's Locker with an extra shot of espresso. So good. Not overly sweet and not bitter at all. And then I just had to try the cute little pistachio cannoli. Shell was filled upon ordering, so the shell was nice and crispy. Now this was super sweet, but I haven't met a cannoli yet that wasn't! Barista was friendly & bubbly and patient when it took me some time to pick my 6 donuts. Basic tables and chairs with some bench seating along the window. Pillows & chairs could use a refresh, as well as the bathroom, looking a bit worn & dingy, but that's literally the only negative thing about this place.
