I was dining alone so I was put at the counter which was interesting because I saw the kitchen staff preparing all meals. Con of this was hearing the host argue with a staff member or two! I ordered the mushroom gravy and it came with hash browns. It was extremely flavorful but maybe too rich? Everything was an add on for this. Egg and biscuit were an extra $6. I can tell this place is inventive and takes great care with their food so I see why the prices are so high. Kitchen staff also gets tipped out. Everything was different and good but my biscuit was so so dry which was sad! The scrapple also came out black. Some things I'd hopped were better!

But honestly I'm kinda mumbly so I could see being hard to hear. Could've been my fault. Either way it was absolutely delicious. Like this was just a really really good breakfast sandwich. I finished it and just immediately wanted another one. I was not insatiably hungry. It was just that good. I also got one of the house drinks. I forget what it was called but that was good too. Super cute interior too. It was nice to hand in there for a bit. I'd love to come back here but unfortunately there wasn't much else on the main drag. So it would be in and out.

Wish they had them out where I live! I walked in, and was greeted by my server Jennifer. Super nice super sweet lady, told me I could sit wherever I wanted and got my beverage for me while I browsed the menu. I typically get the same hash brown bowl, but I wanted to try something different and I ordered the Texas chicken sandwich with hash browns and country gravy. It was so good, I'm glad I tried it cuz now I can go back to my Norm next time hahaha! I asked Jennifer for some Louisiana hot sauce, and she gave me Tabasco hahaha but it was close enough! That girl on the flat top was whipping up delicious farw the ENTIRE time I was there. Poor kid needs to take a break! She was really hustlin'! Oddly enough, all the food she was making, I think was take out orders, because there is only one other couple in there besides me, but a few people came in and got food to go. This isn't exactly the cleanest WH I've been in, but I've also been in some pretty ratchet ones. But there is one employee there who wasn't really doing much, because they weren't really busy, and I noticed the waffle station was absolutely destroyed. Batter everywhere, I just think people should take pride more in what they do. Bar seating table top could have been wiped down, but other than those two things, excellent food, excellent people, and excellent experience! I hate this state, well the whole northeastern seaboard for that matter, but this visit made my stay a lot more tolerable. Thank you jennifer!
