The design of the restaurant is so special - community tables, pillows, tapestries, waterfall features, tiles, and belly dancing. The food was a little inconsistent. We shared many dishes: Bastilla (baked layers of filo dough, eggs, chicken, almonds, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar); hummus (chickpeas, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, sprinkled with paprika and olive oil, served with pita bread); Spanakopita; salad trio (eggplant salad, cucumber and tomato salad, and carrot salad); lamb tagine (stew of lamb, onions, and roasted peppers topped with honey and served with rice); Moroccan chicken with harissa cumin sauce; mujaddara (cracked bulgur wheat cooked with lentils and caramelized onions); and mint tea. I wish they didn't serve bottled waters, and the food was mostly good but not the most consistent.
