We have gotten Gyros 2x in 30 days to go because they are really good. Mustafa is a near thirties young man that took my order and goes back to the grill to prepare my order. The place has a lot of window graphics but the small inside is very unassuming, there's a few tables if you want to eat in. The meats were tasty and the lettuce, tomatoes & warm pita's were fresh. I Like their tzatziki white sauce. There are others to choose from. Also many other food options but we are fans of the Gyros. Parking is on the side of the building indicated by graphics on this corner store right in the middle of the Main Street 4 way intersection. read more

I couldn't wait to ADD this new-to-Middletown business to YELP. This town really needed a Halal restaurant and the food here does not dissapoint. Within minutes of sitting at a table I observed four or five parties picking up takeout food, a truly good sign.There are plenty of tables if you want to dine in. The chicken was flavorful and tender and it was served on perfectly-cooked rice with a choice of sauces. The salad was fresh and crisp and a fabulous complement to the chicken. My guest had the chicken gyro and just loved it! We finished the meal off with a baklava. The owner says they will be adding more menu items, so I will be back often to try new things. The family that owns and operates this place is delightful and courteous, so that is another reason to visit. read more

This place is NOT authentic, lacks flavor, and the business looks blah! The guy behind the counter looks like he just rolled out of bed. What a wonderful surprise! The food is excellent. I am impressed by how fresh the salad ingredients are. The lettuce crisp, the tomato ripe and juicy, and the the dressing is fresh and homemade daily. The lamb in the giro was tender, and the wrap was fresh and warm. The best part of this restaurant is the owner. A very nice, helpful man, with a pleasant demeanor. The restaurant sparkles. The restroom is clean and the hot water is really hot! Whether you eat halal food as a way of life, or want to simply have good middle eastern food, this restaurant is an obvious choice. Supporting local and minority businesses are two of my goals in choosing a restaurant. I am glad that the food and service at DCG are so good that I will visit again and again. read more

I ordered the food thru door dash and received the wrong order, the employee of the restaurant asked me to come pick it up, when I did he asked me for the food back that was delivered to my house !!!!!! When I asked if he would have given it back out he looked down and refused to answer me. When we got in the car it was still the wrong order and missing items. Food is good but service is the worst I have received in a very long time... there is competition out there and I would try another gyro place before this one because your order might have gone from doordasher to someone's home and back since he actually expected me to bring it back... yuck do better. read more
