I love the manager, or one of the managers, Taylor. Every time we pass we have great conversation because she's so cool. I work close to this Starbucks so I frequent this place very often and I was friggin shocked the first time I walked in after they renovated. They took away the entire dining room! There's no more tables! They turned the place into a drive thru only line. I mean, you can go in and get coffee but there's no place to sit! Bureaucratic, crap. Some higher up made the decision to do without the tables. For Starbucks it's good but for the patrons, not so much. All the workers are extremely nice and it's always a pleasure going there. 450% better than the Starbucks in Lancaster city. Hands down, not even a thought. Give this place your money. read more

I really like the interior of this place as it looks clean and modern and kept up to date. They have a lot of seating compared to the amount of parking so I think you will not have issues finding a place to sit. It felt wide and free. The downside is the parking situation where there just is not a lot there. It is tucked in a corner so it was a bit harder to manuveur. The staff was very polite. At least compared to DC metro standards. Perhaps it is the fact that smaller towns have nicer people. The drinks are fairly consistent compared to other branches so you know what you will get. I'm a Starbucks fan - not really of the coffee - but of the coffeeshops so I do focus on the interior and cleanliness rather than the food/drink options. This one is close to the outlet so it's situated in a nice spot. read more

Normally I like going to non-chain coffee shops, but I'm not averse to a Starbucks visit if the person I'm with wants to. Boy, am I glad I came to this one. Not too cramped, but not echoingly huge, this is a decently roomy space that still gives the cozy effect. The art is lovely, the baristas are friendly, and my favorite bit is that this particular location is interactive. Apparently there's a sign with a monthly question, and this month's question was "What's your favorite book?" Ho-ho. Dangerous question to ask me, but I limited myself to two sticky notes. There's also a little stack of coloring pages and crayons for them. My point? The chain may not be unique, but the attitude inside the walls of this one is. Very bad experience and I am very dissatisfied. This happened to me for the second time. When I started drinking coffee, the lid and the cup did not fit properly. The coffee spilled all over the car and on me. I had to spend money to wash the car. I have been buying Starbucks coffee for ten years and this has never happened before. It's rare for me to only give 1 star. The only way I justify it is because the lady working the cash register and taking orders was so kind and pleasant. I was embarrassed for her when the barista refused t make my latte at 190 degrees. He wasn't even pleasant about it. I appreciate that he doesn't want to be sued but when a customer orders that temperature I would think they know what that means. I happen to like my latte "screaming" hot. Extra hot at Starbucks is only 175 degrees. That's not hot enough. If you refuse an order that's already been paid for I would suggest a kinder, more customer friendly way to deliver the message. We went down the road to the next SB. The barista made my latte at 190 degrees. No one got hurt and no one got sued...or offended. read more

This has been my go-to coffee spot for more than five years now, despite the typical staff turnover (I miss Spencer!) and the typical service fluctuations that come with it. In all that time, here's what hasn't changed: this location has good, clean table space and outlets for those who want to sit and get some work done. In addition to the coffee staples, you can grab a decent snack or morning bite - easily better than the quick-stop eateries immediately around the Tanger Outlets. The site has two entrances and a small parking lot, all of which are a nightmare to deal with. The drive-thru is especially poorly placed and causes horrible backups that at times block the entire Millstream entrance. There's a sign that says NOT to enter the drive-thru from Millstream, but no one pays it any mind. My recommendation for shoppers: If you're going to spend some time at Tanger and aren't in a rush, park in the Outlets by Zale's and walk over. Much easier than trying to deal with the small parking lot and oddly placed drive-thru. For morning commuters: The current morning crew is much more friendly and adept at making drinks than the afternoon bunch, and the drive-thru line will move quicker, though some days I know it doesn't feel like it. If it looks (or feels) like your cup is messy, just ask them for another cup to put on the outside - I've gotten one or two odd looks, but no one has balked at the request because they want to keep the line moving. When asked, I just say the cup is hot and I prefer an extra cup to the thin sleeves. Messy cup crisis averted, you can now prepare for your next challenge: exiting the parking lot without getting creamed by one of the trucks on Lincoln Highway. read more

Not sure if they were having an off day, but this location was in disarray. The counter was a mess and the chocolate, vanilla and nutmeg shakers were all empty. The seating was arranged in an unusually uncomfortable layout. This is definitely not the place where you would go to chill and enjoy your coffee in peace. By far THE SLOWEST Starbucks I've been to. There was one person in front of us and about 5 waiting for their order. No one came behind us. There were 4 employees. I ordered a caramel latte. Just a standard one-- no add-ons or special syrups, etc. And a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was well over 10 minutes before getting the order. The store has a Drive Thru and it became apparent those customers were the employees' priority. After our wait became beyond the normal wait, I began counting cars. 9 went through before we got our order!!!! And several times I didn't see a car at the window. There were still 4 people waiting for their order and I could tell they were also frustrated by their wait. Only one had an order with more than one drink. My husband asked why there were so many boxes stacked up inside the store. They took over an entire table; were about three boxes wide and deep. Luckily the store has several tables, and only two customers were sitting inside. I'm used to sometimes seeing inventory sitting out, but found it interesting my husband (who isn't a frequent Starbucks customer) found it exceedingly annoying. I ordered the pink drink from Starbucks Lincoln Hwy and after 5 minutes of drinking it was i finished. I look down and my cup is filled with ice. No wonder i finished it so soon. Based on previous reviews, yes this chain does provide a bit of slow service. I placed my orders from the drive-thru and probably waited a little more than 20 minutes until approaching the service window. I didn't utter a word nor complain the whole time, but they quickly apologized on their behalf for the hold up and awarded me a complimentary gift card. Which I thought was nice gesture. By now my fellow yelpers must know I'm addicted to Starbucks. And I cannot resist a chance to review one. Especially when its an FTR opportunity. This one rocks. It has a massive, semi-circular drive thru. Fellow yelper Mara G. and I had a tiny bit of a tough time traversing the traffic on foot as we walked over from the church bus trip parking lot. But we made it safely in the end. Once inside, the yummy coffee aroma of course got us going. I expected there to be little or no line inside what with all the drive-thru traffic outside. I was wrong. There were about 4 people in line waiting to order and another 3 waiting at the pick-up-beverage area. The two cashiers made quick work of the line while I was there. They dispensed pastries and plain drip coffees with a quickness. And they even managed to slip in the whole bean coffee gift pack sales pitch to each customer. I had to wait a bit on my beverage. Not a prob. I parked it on one of the comfy-shmumfy leather couches. The presence of multiple comfy-shmumfy seating arrangements (in light of the large drive thru presence) gets this place the fourth star. Mara G. used all available condiments as well as the WC while I waited. Finally, my bev was ready! I left my spot on the comfy-shmumfy leather sofa to go pick it up. That's when I noticed the drive-thru and the in-store baristas were seperate operions. Good move! I'm a fan of pretty much any Starbucks. Especially this one. It's only gotten worse with time. They can NEVER hear the order given at the drive thru. They have their own separate terms for drinks that on the "hidden menu"... So what you might know as a Tuxedo, butterbeer, applepie frapp, snickerdoodle machiatto... Etc... Will be known as something COMPLETELY different because "we call it _______, because it's easier to hear/remember." Yea..... The coffee is made sloppily, I've had several served where if not for being in an absolute rush I would have had them re cup. No one likes streaks running down the side of their cups. Ordered tea and got looked at like I was from another planet and was told "we don't have that" only to be told one milli second later "ooo I guess we do, whatever, you want that or what?" It's starbucks! You expect the same quality and customer service you've had elsewhere... But ya' don't get that here! Try the one on Fruitville pike instead.. I'm addicted to Starbucks. It's very clean(as always). I got a Carmel Frapuccino (my favorite drink) and it was amazing.

Same as all the other Starbucks in the Pennsylvania area; dirty, unclean, unkept, sticky. The staff tries with few exceptions. Coffee is of course delicious and of course atrociously overpriced. But we all know that and we all continue to go. I have decided recently to stand in the 10 to 15 minute line so I don't have to go into the shop itself. Not saying much for the upkeep for the cleaning staff. Wish it was different, but its not and we are not going to change it. If you want to try to write interesting and very good tasting coffee for less than half the price go to Wawa on 72 or route 30, both food and coffee far outweigh Taste and cost of Starbucks. read more

Just went through this Starbucks drive thru and encountered a very rude barista. My boyfriend and I accidentally drove past the spot to place your order which was very easy to do because there weren't any signs whatsoever. We didn't think it would be a big deal to just order at the window because it is literally the same thing. The barista gave us attitude immediately and insisted he was yelling hello at the window, he then preceded to say, "Will this be a big order..? Because we're about to get very busy." I love this Starbucks! I work on Lincoln Highway so I visit the drive through once or twice a day on my commute to work. Although sometimes it may be busy, and it may seem to take awhile to make it through the drive through I continue to go because of the great customer service! Mostly everyone is always cheerful and smiling when you pull up no matter how busy they are. The reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because of the few employees that aren't always in the best of moods. I am now officially finished with the Starbucks by Tanger outlets. It is one of the worst. Temperature of beverages always varies but I have tolerated that. Today was the 4th out of 4 trips to order a tall, no foam, skinny caramel latte. Once again today it had foam. The other 3 times after coming through the drive in I then pulled into a parking space and took it inside to be remade. Today it was 0 degrees and I was not going inside one more time. So, there's a simple solution. I just won't return. The staff that work the drive in window are always very nice and pleasant but unfortunately their customer service will not fix a poor product. read more
