The food took over 30 minutes to be served, and the quality was very disappointing. It didn't taste homemade at all. Everything was greasy and unhealthy. The hash browns were burnt on the outside but still undercooked in the middle. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

The staff were very nice, but unfortunately the food was really disappointing. The mushrooms were undercooked, and the steak was so oily that it didn't taste grilled at all. Everything felt very greasy and low quality, and I couldn't even finish my meal. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

I haven't had service this exceptional in a long time. How refreshing! Let me dog sit with me and even brought him a piece of bacon. Extremely nice staff and really good breakfast food! I will stop by every time Im in town now.

If we hadn't plugged this cafe into our maps app, I'm not sure we ever would've found it. It is definitely tucked away in a little corner by a huge credit union building. It is a very small cafe, but they make use of every spot of it. There was a 10-15 minute wait for a table. Once seated, we perused the menu. It had a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. I had a chicken broccoli 2-egg omelette with sourdough toast. They were happy to accommodate a side salad instead of the usual breakfast sides. (The ranch dressing was SO good!) My husband got the chicken fried steak breakfast and said it was very tasty. Everyone working there was friendly and seemed to love their jobs. It appeared that they have several regulars who they called by name.

We were seated quickly. Place inside is nothing to write home about. Food was delivered quickly and hot! My husband liked his food. Bacon was good. My hash needed something, im not sure what but it needed more flavor? Seasonings. Something. The poached egg was perfect and sour dough toast was fantastic. The meat needed to be more rare as well. So I called this café because I was craving some breakfast for lunch. I ordered: breakfast casserole, French toast meal, A veggie omelette with their fresh homemade bread for toast, blueberry pancake meal, a bacon and egg quiche, eggs over medium meal. Everything was very delicious I wasn't very excited about the bacon and egg quiche and I probably will not order that again, but that's just my taste buds. All the other food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to other people. The amount of energy and effort that this owner Sherry put into abiding by social distancing guidelines was astonishingly amazing. I have not seen an establishment yet that put as much time and energy into making sure that everyone who enters her shop is safe. And during COVID-19 I have lived in two different states. read more

This is really an older diner. Local older people go here. Food is reasonably priced and good. My favorite place for lunch. They do have breakfast as well. My mom likes this place when she meets for lunch. Recommend for good food. read more

The staff was very friendly and I would give them a 5 star. The good was just ok. It seemed very basic, nothing homemade (granted I did hear them offer the homemade drink alot, any we didn't try that). Would be a good lunch stoo during work. I also want to follow this by saying all the good we had in Washington was very similar. We would stop again. read more

Fantastic little hole in the wall Deli! It took some doing to actually locate the storefront, but once we did we parked and walked in. Cute area Rosie in front however it was pouring rain. It's not really homey inside, sort of more industrial. However!!!! Do not let the decor keep you from eating here. Amazing service, friendly fast and good! I ordered the Rueben and my friend got the chicken salad. The Rueben was good, I especially liked the meat. The ratio of dressing, kraut and meat was onpoint. However, they need to up their bread game. The chicken salad looked great! Maybe next time I will order that instead. I got the lasagna soup, it was yummy! Seriously the best breakfast cafe in town and many locals agree with me. Frequent regulars. The staff is so friendly and remember you. Super clean and sanitary - I feel 100% comfortable eating there following reopening after COVID shutdown. They are taking every step to ensure everyone's safety. I always get breakfast but the lunch is excellent! Bring friends - they will thank you! Go on a sunny day and sit on the patio. the park is a couple blocks away so we like to go after breakfast. read more

Breakfast at Corner Cafe this morning was fine. Was expecting more after reading reviews, but it is what it is. We stopped in on our way from Vancouver, Washington to Bainbridge Island, Washington at around 7am. I ordered corned beef hash with my eggs over hard and sourdough toast. The hash was decent and the eggs cooked for a minute or so too long. Toast was good. My girlfriend ordered the Eggs Benedict and she said it was 'ok, I guess'.....so she wasn't really impressed either. Coffee was good. Prices were reasonable and our server was nice. read more

Great little cafe with delicious food. Very busy little place when we visited. The staff of at least 8 never slowed down. Because of the volume of customers there was a little wait for our food, but not unreasonable. Ordered the small portion of corned beef hash and it was delicious. Corner Cafe could easily be a four-star cafe, but not by what my wife and I saw today. My coffee cup was empty for longer than it held coffee. I received a different dish than I asked for and my salad contained not only bits of rotten lettuce but also a jawbreaker-size clump of thoroughly rotten lettuce. After informing my waitress that I received the wrong dish and showing her the rotten salad, I was offered a $1 discount. Mistakes happen with orders, but compensating for rotten food with $1 is shameful. If customers escape without salmonella or E. Coli I'd be surprised. If they could get their quality-control handled, the food was worthwhile. Until then, the food isn't worth the apparent health code violations. read more

The only thing bad about this restaurant is that there is not a lot of seating so there is a wait usually to get in there but the food is well worth the wait. Pancakes are big and fluffy lots of blueberries gravy is smooth. The staff is some of the friendliest people in any restaurant around.100% recommend this place. read more

Just stopped in here for the first time for breakfast with my husband. I found it on yelp and I have to say the reviews are true! This place is delicious. The waitress we had was so sweet and very on top of bringing coffee and water. She seemed to know most of the people who came in which is rather rare to see in this day and age. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and a side of fruit and my husband had the country fried steak with eggs, hash browns, a side of bacon, and their homemade white bread. It was all really good, best breakfast we've had in the area! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a delicious meal and good coffee. read more

We each ordered a simple cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. (see pics) The vibe was great with darts, shuffleboard and a DJ setting up for karaoke night. How fun! Here's where it went downhill. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, we never were asked if we needed anything else or if our food was good ( or correct) and our water and ice tea glasses were never refilled. Now I realize that our very nice server was busy, but she passed our table SEVERAL times without saying a word. As for our food, my chicken noodle soup had way too much pepper in it and my husband's tomato bisque was too spicy. (& he likes it spicy!!). Also, I ordered cheddar cheese not swiss cheese for my grilled cheese sandwich. I eventually decided to eat it since I was hungry and knew that I'd have to wait even longer if I returned it. This is our second visit here and sadly the service wait time then (about 6 months ago) was also "forgettable" All and all, if you are going to hang out and party with your friends, I would say GO! But if you want to go and get a meal, be prepared to be patient and allow A LOT of time.

Attention all foodies! If you're in the Longview, Washington area, you absolutely must stop by the Corner Cafe. I recently visited and had one of the most enjoyable casual dining experiences ever. First of all, the food was absolutely incredible. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. I especially loved the homemade biscuits and gravy - it was like nothing I've ever tasted before. But it wasn't just the food that made this experience so great. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food. I could go on and on about the Corner Cafe, but I'll just say this - if you're looking for delicious food, great service, and an all-around fantastic dining experience, then you simply must check out this gem in Longview. Love love this restaurant. The food is excellent, I mean really really consistently great. I really like their breakfast menu but have really enjoyed their lunch menu as well. They use the best ingredients and their recipes are thoughtful andunique not "run of the mill." A friend of mine lives nearby, so we decided to check out Corner Cafe for breakfast, and it was a great choice! We had the French Toast and The Corner Hash, and both were absolutely delicious. Sherrie and the staff here are top-notch! The food is great, from the espressos, to the soups, to the daily specials. My favorite is the cheesy chicken and broccoli soup. You can't beat the prices, either. This place is a must-visit, especially in Longview! read more
